Welcome to The Saint Bar & Kitchen! Formerly St Andrews institution The West Port, the Saint has recently received an extensive renovation creating cosy, modern lounge areas and a refreshed, extensive garden area so you can enjoy whatever the Scottish weather throws your way.

Please note that our kitchen closes at 9pm so we cannot offer food after this time.

Waited 40 mins before our drinks came. Food and service was average at best.

Friendly, warm atmosphere. Spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff were very good. Food arrived promptly and was presented well and, the quality was very good indeed. The menu range was excellent. This is a place we will return to. Nestled by the old gateway, it really has a unique charm.

Our meals (sea bass and macaroni & cheese) were okay, but the garlic ciabatta bread was coated with flour. The pistachio cake we had for dessert was dry. Service was friendly and efficient and the ambience was pleasant. Definitely above average overall.

The food was excellent. The mussels and arancini starters were outstanding. Fish and chips were delicious although the batter is a little heavier than I like it. My son enjoyed his beef burger. Portions are generous. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Despite having booked in advance it was almost an hour before we were served any food . Given that we were limited to a 2 hr slot this was a bit annoying . I had the vegetarian roast ( lentil and carrot ) . It was fine but a bit dry and salty … more sauce would have helped as the Yorkshire pudding was also quite dry . Our waiter was very helpful ( it was his 4 th shift ) . The table was balanced on a wedge which slipped out , causing the table to wobble and covering me in beer . While the waiters were very helpful the manager barely cast a glance our way and did not apologise at all . I have eaten in the Saint before and enjoyed it especially as it’s accommodating to dogs . Yesterday was a bit of a disappointment .

Sea bass excellent choice for a gluten free option Son had mac cheese said it was best he's had, be great if they did a gluten free option Hubby had fish and chips was whale size and he loved it, food was reasonable in price good choice Nice wine and good beer. Will go back again, lovely and peaceful till table next to us occupied by some noisy folk who seemed to need to shout, but really didn't need too

Arrived early and were shown immediately to our table. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable server (Andrew). Food was really good and service was at a good pace.
