The Sea Tree is an alternative fish bar in Cambridge offering eat-in and takeaway favourites alongside alternatives from our wet fish counter. The only place you can get fish, chips, mushy peas & a deep-fried Mars Bar alongside Oysters and pan-fried Scallops with Marsh Samphire & a bottle of fine Champagne.

Tinned music much too loud at first. Couldn't hear to converse. Speakers unavoidable. Asked to move and another one was directly overhead. I think the volume was set so the staff could hear over the noise of kitchen and till. It was turned down on request to an acceptable level. Otherwise no reason for complaint. Will come again.

Sauce of Mussels was good but mussells were a bit cold and overall not strongly tasty.
Fries good.
Good portion
Service very friendly
But it was cold as the door kept being open end for the takeaways.
Will stick to takeaways next.

Really fresh / cooked to order food. Small basic eating area but COVID safe & would definitely recommend for simple fresh and tasty seafood 👍
