Been wanting to eat here for a while so it was great to have the opportunity when friends came to stay with me.
Booking was simple, service was great especially when asked to make a bloody Mary, it was very good. Sunday lunch was amazing and so was the delicious apple crumble.
Would highly recommend

We booked a 12.30 table and arrived on time. We weren't in a rush so agreed to place our orders and have a drink before going to the table. However, we didn't expect to be taken to our table at 1.40. Waiting over an hour when we had booked a table wasn't great. The chicken curry wasn't available and the lamb jalfrezzi which replaced it was largely gravy and very little lamb. The burgers were good and the gluten-free sausages were very good, but being told that you'd run out and the chef "was making more" is just a bit odd. (Was this the reason for the delay in getting to our table??) By the time we were taken to our table the place had no ambience as we were the only diners eating - all by ourselves. If it hadn't been nearly tea time when we finished, we might have had dessert.
And also - fyi - the cookie opt-out on this review page doesn't work.
