Lovely food. Everything was delicious, one of our favourite places to eat.

As usual the food and service were very good.

Hats off to Steph and her merry band to getting it just right as ever. Well spaced tables and observing of SD rules and the most beautiful food. If it is on the menu, you must try the haddock with rosti and the most perfectly poached egg I have ever had. I can't recommend this pub highly enough, fabulous restaurant food in a charming, warm and friendly environment.
Take away available during lockdown too... I will be booking my pick up for a Sunday roast well in advance for next week!

Thanks to Steph and the team for great food and great service in homely surroundings. My favourite local restaurant. What a pity lockdown is going to prevent us going back for a while, though I'm sure a Seven Stars takeaway will taste just as good.

This is a lovely pub in a pretty village, my visit was unfortunately rushed but the food and service were excellent if on the slightly pricey side

Husbands birthday - staff allowed us to bring inn scale and balloon which made it more special for him

Not our first visit and it certainly won't be our last. The warmest and most cheerful of welcomes, and a menu that was varied and interesting with a single but beautifully cooked vegetarian option on both the starter and the main menu. Great care was taken to ensure all the dining groups were well separated and comfortable and the service was attentive but unhurried. A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and a lovely long lunch.

The food was excellent, clearly cooked to order, not simply taken out of the freezer. I had the smoked haddock with poached egg and wholegrain mustard sauce - delicious! We were a group of 6 celebrating a 70th birthday and loved it

Booking was straightforward. Covid restrictions were adhered to but unobtrusive. Food was as usual excellent. Smoked Haddock was very tasty. Service was attentive without being fussy. A very relaxing atmosphere and great value with the deal that is currently on offer. A pub well worth supporting!!! Well done everyone

The service was excellent, supportive but not intrusive. The pork was top class, thank you chef, and the portions - well it has been a long time since I left such good quality food on my plate. Left as one very happy customer who will definitely return again. Thank you.

Amazing Food!

We had never been here before and made a booking for a couple of hours later, arrived and the place is wonderful, staff lovely and the food was amazing. Will absolutely be returning and recommending!

Have been to the 7*'s a few times & have never been disappointed. This visit was even better. All Covid measures were in place, the staff were polite & helpful. The food was excellent.

It was our first time to the seven stars and I can certainly say that the food was fantastic! Best meal I have had in a long time and the staff were all really nice.

Went for a celebratory evening meal and it was lovely. Food delicious, service attentive but not over the top, and the spacing/covid arrangements made it feel very safe.
