The Seven Stars
We met with 2 friends and enjoyed a lovely lunch. The dining room is beautifully decorating, the food was excellent and we were served in a very nice way. The pub was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. We will returned.
Thank you so much for an enjoyable lunch.
Loved everything about it. The tables were well situated and not to close to each other also quite a few circular ones. Food was excellent, the menu wasn't huge which to me meant dishes were cooked on the premises. Nice and warm cosy and clean dining room
Good food great service from the French waitress. We will be back to sample more of the menu as it looked very interesting.
Good service, food arrived in a timely manner. Really enjoyed the food.
The set up in the “snug” area was small, so a little bit conscious of trying to chat in a group when the other tables were couples!
Community ownership makes this an even friendlier place. The welcome was warm and the food excellent! Best scallops I have had in years.
Excellent Sunday lunch - helpful friendly staff and good food as always. We will return.
As soon as we walked in we found the atmosphere of The Seven Stars was very relaxed and welcoming. We were greeted by Steph who was pleasant and very polite. Service was extremely good and food delicious. We will definitely be going back.
Not been here for a long time, always apprehensive when new people are in but saying that they are very friendly. Will certainly be going back in the very near future.
Interesting menu friendly attentive staff
Really good food and good beer and specifically caters for my fussy vegetarian pallet, the staff are wonderful
Good menu and nice relaxing dining area. We all really enjoyed our food.
Really lovely people and great food .... swordfish was beautifully cooked and great flavours
Dessert was crumble which was fantastic .... made all the better with great beer and good wine at sensible prices ..... the FoH team are fantastic
Great restaurant with lovely food & excellent service. Friendly, relaxed dining would definitely recommend
Excellent, well presented food but quite expensive. Definitely recommend for a special meal out
Good atmosphere, lovely food and pleasant service but quite expensive for lunchtime.
The food was not great and neither was the atmosphere . Not all the staff were polite. We did not enjoy the experience and will not visit again any time soon.
Would definitely recommend to friends in fact already have. Food was wonderful would definitely recommend the creme bruise. All the staff were friendly and helpful all smiling. But not in your fave and left you all e to peruse the menu
The service and food were great. The menu is varied and provides a good choice.
The overall noise got a bit loud once the restaurant filled. Could do with some acoustic sound absorbtion boards to stop the echo.
Otherwise a great time was had by all.
Just a nice place to meet that is half way between two locations. I like that it is generally quiet, the food is good though we haven’t yet ventured off the small plate or sandwich menu and the service is friendly and efficient whilst discrete.
Normally eat in the Bottle
And Glass. Thought to try this. Will come
Fabulous as usual. Steph and Josh very attentive, great evening. All the best to Josh. Thank you.
As usual a warm welcome; food consistently excellent; warm, 'traditional pub' ambiance. Difficult to find anything to criticise!!
Great place for a lovely relaxed Sunday lunch. Excellent food and wonderful service as always.
Great food, great staff, great evening. Will be returning soon
Another lovely lunch in one of our favourite places. The waitress was a little frosty but the host Stephanie was as warm, welcoming and friendly as ever. The great food and Stephanie's hospitality will keep us coming back here!
Seven Stars always offers great food and never disappoints. The bar/waiting staff are attentive, friendly, but not in your face every five minutes. Only down side is that whilst the refurb looks beautiful, lack of carpet seems to raise noise level. Plus tables are pretty close to one another. But it didn’t spoil our visit, and we will return.
Excellent family pub with good locally cooked food.
Lovely pub staff and food! Good selection on the menu.
The food was absolutely excellent, but we had a long wait for it. The staff were very apologetic and took our drinks off the bill! Dining area seems rather noisier than it used to be following redecoration. It needs some soft surfaces to damp down the noise level.
The menu is always interesting and enticing and the food lives up to the expectation. Always enjoy The Seven Stars.
Always an interesting and varied menu - food extremely enjoyable. Lovely service and a very nice ambience.
Service was really good and the rest of the meal was great but the fish pie was a little disappointing.
Very pleasant place to be, lovely friendly staff, good food, good value and garden full of local families with children playing, just what a village pub should be.
We will definitely return, maybe for supper next time.
Amazing food x friendly staff x love the place
Good standard of food. Picked hottest day of year unfortunately - could have been nice to have a few fans around the restaurant. Dessert service slow.
Welcoming staff amazing food lovely!!
The food is always excellent and imaginative and the service friendly and efficient. We love going there.
Excellent as always, Greeted by cheerful Steph and staff , it was my Sisters first Sunday lunch at The Seven Stars and enjoyed it as much as us , food excellent as always,
Looked after very well, from entering the pub to paying at the end.
Delicious food and super efficient service. A very relaxing ambience. Lovely.
