The Seven Stars
We serve traditional food made from the very best local ingredients, including fresh meat and produce from our very own farm near Malvern. Our menu features a range of old classics, including our Proper Steak and Ale Pie, made with homemade shortcrust thyme pastry, Hereford steak and Ledbury ale. In addition, we have our daily specials from our farm, using only the very best cuts of lamb or pork.
We also offer a variety of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Come dine with us a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in our warm, welcoming lounge or cider-themed restaurant. We are pet-friendly.
The food we had was very good. Service was efficient and the staff were friendly. Would definitely eat here again if we are in the area. Menu to suit all tastes.
over priced chips cooked too much waitress awful she was new and smelt
Excellent food would recommend to a friends and family we will be coming again
Very nice surroundings but although the place was almost empty they sat us right next to another table of diners. I’m vegan and was delighted to see a vegan menu. The starter of quinoa was delicious but the tagliatelle main course was more than disappointing, I wouldn’t order again as was tasteless and very dry. The service was so slow that we didn’t have time for a dessert although we were there for 1 hour and 45 mins. Will go again but will order the tagine or stew meals.
Great food and service from friendly staff. Evening disrupted by a large group of rowdy men shouting and swearing in the adjacent outdoor sitting area. The staff did ask them to leave eventually but they tolerated it for too long and it did spoil the atmosphere.
great food, great staff awful racket from a stag party and associated friends and acquaintances of some of the very drunk people, 4 of whom were on the table next to us, far too much to drink, noisy, obnoxious, vile with no consideration to other diners or the outnumbered but valiant staff who tried t maintain order but failed.
Apart from that, great food and I can imagine when there aren't a group of mindless drunks in there it is a lovely place. I will happily eat there again but wont be taking my coat off if there are any drunkards
A very enjoyable dining experience. The vegetarian choices are varied, and there is also a separate vegan menu.
Excellent food and service. Would thoroughly recommend The Seven Stars as the place to eat in Ledbury.
We were recommended to The Seven Stars by where we were staying in Ledbury and it was very good I did book as it was busy. The main restaurant is at the back of of the Pub and is very nice and spacious . The staff were very good and the meal good value for money.
Excellent food ,staff very friendly and efficient, good prices .i would definitely go again and recommend this place.
The second time we had visited as we are out of the area. Fantastic food with good menu choice. Great service, cannot complain about anything.
Lovely food, great service, staff very professional and helpful, great menu, can't wait to go back.
Met Australian relations for lunch and after chatting for a good hour the barman asked if we would like to order and dine where we were sitting or in the restaurant. The choices on the menu catered for all our tastes and we all chose different meals. Good choice of beers and reasonable prices. We haven’t visited for a couple of years since we live outside town, but intend to make this our weekly treat once a week from now on.
Staff very friendly . Good food.Surronding also good
We found the whole dining experience at the Seven Stars very pleasant. The staff were efficient and attentive, the food was excellent apart from my husband would have liked vegetables with his sirloin steak meal. Would definitely eat there again when we are in the area.
We chose the pub instead of others due to the special Easter Sunday menu advertised on its we've which looked very nice. we booked several days ahead to ensure we'd get a table on such a busy day. When we arrived we were told that menu had finished and were given the standard menu. So we went elsewhere. Very disappointing and poor way to treat customers
Lovely friendly welcoming team, an enjoyable Mothering Sunday dinner
The food is very good, but the source ingredients should be more varied - too much reliance on beef, however good it is. There isn's much ambience, some quiet music would be nice. The waitress was very good, helpful and charming.
Food and service was excellent on our first visit. Young waiter was very attentive and very helpfull. Sadly the atmosphere was spoilt by other loud mouthed birthday celebraters. Would definitely try again.
We enjoyed our lunch. The food was good and so was the service, although The restaurant was busy. But we felt it was expensive for a 2 course Sunday roast lunch.
Was very busy on a Friday night. The waiting staff were very pleasant and friendly but unfortunately it took >1hr to get our dinner. We had a table next to us that was completely packed and reduced access around them. When it did arrive it was quite nice, good value for the price
Pleasant environment, good location, friendly helpful staff and good food. What more can you ask?
Very friendly and helpful staff, and of course excellent food, mean its an ideal local gem for Sunday lunch.
It’s works well for couples or with friends. Have recommended it to neighbours, because the food is consistently good.
Pleasant local with a good kitchen. Mid-week is usually quite enough for an intimate meal, staff are quick and polite. The beer is good and well kept. Since the new management took over their revised menu is much improved, in both quantity and quality.
Very limited choice and some of our options were sold out!
We went with two friends who were visiting Ledbury and they like it very much. I am vegetarian and was less keen as there was only one item on the menu that I could eat. We would happily go there again, but would check first what they offer for vegetarians.
We have enjoyed both evening and lunchtime dining at the Seven Stars and would definitely recommend it. Great for vegetarians and vegans.
Loved the place but sadly our food was not that hot. we had Sunday roast and the meat and potatoes were served on a cold plate which made the food tepid. The vegetables bought separately were hot but the meet and potatoes were not.
Lovely Sunday dinner and the breakfast was excellent, just needed a bit more toast.
Fantastic find, service and food first class. Thoroughly recommend. Check out the Trip Advisor reviews.
Very good experience, marred only by the fact that we booked Sunday lunch for 2pm, by which time they had run out of beef ( which we wouldn't have had ) and crumble ( which we all would have had !!). Such a pity.
Lesson: DON'T book for a Sunday lunch after 1pm !!
Good pub. Glad to have discovered it! Lovely lunch for 3 adults. Nice atmosphere.
Overall, a rather good evening although the service was atrocious. We waited 45-50 minutes after ordering the first course, 40 minutes for the mains and about the same for dessert. The food was generally tasty and excellent value though one of my party found her main (chicken) to be very dry.
Adequate - does every adequately but not outstanding.
Very noisy whilst we were trying to eat. Food was not very good-burgers tasted strange. Pasta dish about the best.
Overall a very pleasant evening, with good food and very attentive. The wine list was limited when it came to my prefered red wines; however, the American IPA was great so I stayed with that.
The only thing I would highlight is that whilst the dining area had large open doors to let the inside connect with the outside of open air courtyard, some people came and sat in the courtyard to smoke. In the still air of the evening the smoke did enter the dining room which is unusual now a days.
We don’t know Ledbury and took a chance on the Seven Stars to meet up with friends for lunch. We certainly were not disappointed, the food was excellent, the service good and the staff lovely and friendly. I’m Coeliac and they catered for me without any issue. They even specially made my partner custard to go with their delicious crumble. Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend Seven 🌟
A nice pub with good food. Dogs are welcome in bar area. Downside they have no parking
We had a lovely evening recently. The service was impressive, the food delicious and interesting and there is a very pleasant dining area where the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We shall certainly go there again.
First time visiting the Seven Stars and will definitely not be the last. Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Had a drink in the bar before we sat down to eat. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. I look forward to returning
