Have rated higher previously but on this occasion the service was not great and the noise was very high. Particularly the barking dogs, and occasional little spat! We were in the restaurant but all four of us mentioned the dog barking and yapping. As usual though the food was good.

The servers were very patient and attentive to quite a lot of questions and requests from us. The food, however, was not of the standard we had hoped for the prices being charged. The starters were ok, the main courses good on the whole and the desserts were excellent.

The initial table allocation was not so good as the table was very small indeed. However, this was rectified quickly. The food was very good. The only issue was that it was fairly cold as was mentioned to the manager. This having been said, in overall terms the experience was very good.

My sister and I had roast beef, excellent. My daughter and grandson had roast chicken wonderful they both said, they adored the cauliflower cheese, I loved everything.

Staff were friendly but service was almost too quick. Didn't make for a relaxed special meal out, more a sense of just being churned out. Food was more expensive than the sample menu suggested on the website and my lasagne was super salty with more cheese than pasta. Beer was very nice. Not sure if we would be back again though.

Amazing from start to finish, incredible food, amazing value, loved the big table we sat at so could all catch up, staff were there to offer drinks so didn’t have to go to the bar, so much to like. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more.

Great food, felt absolutely stuffed afterwards. I had roast pork and crackling my nephew had the chicken. Puddings were also lovely. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Great pub.
