Really enjoyed the lovely food and wine-unfortunately they got my daughters order wrong so she got hers after ours but to be fair they apologised and didn’t charge us for her main meal.
Would definately go again
Ambience somewhat lacking - definitely felt like a hotel lobby restaurant, large space and not much buzz.
Food okay, but some questionable ingredient pairings. Desserts bland and lacking flavour.
Excellent experience as always!!!
Not my first time at The Soak, as we enter we were greeted by friendly & welcoming staff & immediately seated. We order some drinks which were great! The Meal was excellent & our server was very friendly and helpful. Def be back soon!!!
Dear reviewer, Many thanks for your feedback on your recent experience at the Soak! We are very pleased that you enjoyed the food, the drinks and the service! We are looking forward to see you again soon! Regards George
Went only for drinks.
Room and ambience is good, not too noisy.
Strangely, 2 drinks menus has slightly different cocktail list.
Unfortunately, experience spoilt by extremely slow service - took ages to take an order, and long delays for drinks to arrive. To get the bill we had to speak to the bar , who then tried to pass us off to the non existent waiting staff.
When they took the payment, they got it wrong and didn't split the quantity properly, so one guest ended up paying significantly more, without even a proper apology by the barman, who seemed to find it funny
Really nice venue for lunch, fish took a bit too long to cook but I'd go back again.
I dined last night with my friend and we couldn't have been happier. Wonderful service and food is very fresh and delicious. We both ordered few starters then the mains. Cocktails are exceptionally good. We are coming back soon to celebrate my 40th birthday.

Second time I come here for a business lunch and everything was on point. Good food and great service.
Hi Jason, Thank you very much for the feedback. Hope to see you soon at The Soak!
Great place! will definitely visit again. very reasonable
We liked it. Food was amazing and the service was good. The gentleman who was looking after us really did his best, the lady however didn't seem to have a good day.
The place look nice .
The service is terrible , we had to wait 10 mins to get a menu , and had to ask for it .
They clean our plate and never proposed a dessert menu again !
The place was really quiet, so I really wonder how they manage when busy .
Food really over price , and really average , nothing make me want to go back.
We love the green beans. Our server made us feel welcomed
Dear TundunA, Thank you so much for the feedback. We are glad you had good time here at the Soak. Hope to see you soon!
The restaurant has a lovely decor and it's nice to have a place like this so close to Victoria Station. My meal was good but my friend's steak looked like it had run over by a truck. The staff were very pleasant but it was difficult to get their attention at times.
Disappointing..... Food was too salty and service very slow.
The service was awful, forgot one of our starters then forgot all our sides in the main course. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and never experience such bad service. When we first arrived it took nearly an hour for our drinks to arrive.
Wouldn’t recommend the restaurant and definitely not going back.
The food was very good with perfect size portions. Wine list is limited, service slow but very friendly. The restaurant gave the appearance of unfinished and not quite set up properly. That being said I would go again for the salad of pickled heritage beetroots, broad bean & Ossau Iraty.
The food is really good but the restaurant is extremely noisy. Definitely not a place to go for a relaxed, romantic evening
Fantastic meal and service, although we got confused by the signage by the station entrance as it said 3 courses plus bubbly for less than what we ended up paying. However, it was still a really good deal and generally affordable. We would definitely return.
Messed my booking up. Travelled all the way there with a friend that had travelled from a far. Cancelled booking only to tell me on arrival.
Tried to palm me off with a discount which was less than the one already arranged.
Understand mistake happen, but just didn't care
Friday evening in at 19:30 was quiet but had a good ambiance with botanical theme. We had champagne and set menu which allowed me to go for fish, whilst my dining partner went for meat. Beautifully presented dishes with lots of flavour and colour. Timing of service a little off with bread and pickles arriving on top of starters, but a minor quibble and we didn’t have to wait too long. Carafes of white with fish and red went down well. Dessert rum baba with roasted pineapple was a gorgeous finish. Location perfect for catching train home out of Victoria Station.
Great experience for friends' reunion. Very reasonable price, perfect location for everyone. The environment was lovely and quiet and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend!
The food was innovative and what we chose was very good. However the restaurant was over cooled for the number of people in there and we had to move a couple of times before we were satisfied with the temperature and out of a cold blast from the aircon. Would have been difficult if the venue was busy. However, it was a very enjoyable meal and would certainly go again. A definite improvement on the previous restaurant st the Grosvenor Hotel.
Will definitely return, quite tricky to find but worth it when you find it.
Very bad service; Food hit and miss and unexplained. Underwhelmed. Would not go back unless it was to try a cocktail mid week.
The food is good, the ambience is relaxed and upbeat too. The surroundings are very stylish and comfortable and I always enjoy the choice of music. All the staff are lovely and friendly, courteous and polite, but they do seem to be a bit disorganised and you are often left waiting to order etc for what seems like an age. Worth the wait though.
