   Food was very good. Lots of choice. We had a great time. The room we were in off to the side was nice and private for a group which we loved, but it was a bit too dark. We could barely see our food.

   Greeting us at the door was great. After getting our first drink we seemed to be forgotten. There was 2 other tables with people. We had to wave them to order our food. The food was good. Had to wave them again to get another drink and the same when we wanted the bill. After 15 min we had to ask for the change as we were not leaving a $50 tip for 2 meals. 2 guys working but clearly 1 had never worked in a restaurant and had no idea what to do. New owners i think and was very disappointed. We went because there was a band but they had cancelled them.

    We went to hear the live music. It was excellent! However after live music a DJ came on to play dance music , it was too loud, did not suit the older crowd and most tables left after band finished.

    We had reservation for a friends birthday party. The staff was very friendly but the level of the service was sub par. Example: When you ask for a 'water' they brought you a bottle of Kirkland water, with no glass/ice or anything (and charged for it, although basic tap water was asked for). Attention to detail, service and the quality of food has gone downhill since the last time I attended. Icing on the cake for this visit was that 2/3 of the individuals who ordered the fish were very sick that same evening. Taste of the food was great, although for the price point of this food and what I expected from my past visits, I was not impressed. The bartender (male) was extremely friendly, although unfortunately didn't make up for all of the above.

    In Covid, we started serving sealed bottled water @ $0.99 only. I apologize server didn't serve glass and ice. Thank you to mention the taste of the food was great. Prices are high, you got sick, water bottle, lights, table settings these are the things which we don't consider as feedback, this is a mindset. Ours is a Pub, not a fine dining restaurant. Prices have gone up in covid and shortage of staff make business difficult. Pls, don't bash any restaurant unnecessarily.

    This was disappointing, fish tacos were ok, lots of fish, but nothing more then a little sprinkle of slaw and lots of spicy sauce with them. Quesadillas were awful, processed cheese and meat was chewy for $20!!! Curry chicken was the best meal we ordered. The lights were very bright. The staff was friendly but the layout of tables made it hard for them to navigate around tables. Customers were always bumped or needed to move. They also only have bottled water, no tap water served. What’s the difference between tap water or beer on tap…. Menu needs a lot of work, it used to be much simpler and better. We won’t be returning for dinner.

    Thank you for your feedback. In a pandemic, customers always ask for bottled water, we started serving only sealed bottled water. I apologize server didn't serve glass and ice. Our prices are written on the menu, we always ensure nothing comes to the customer as a last-minute surprise. I was told, server visited your table 3-4 times and was told all is good. We always encourage guests, pls ask for a Manager, in case of any concerns, so as we can ensure you have a great experience.

    Very friendly service. My Chicken curry was absolutely the best; very aromatic and tasty, just the way it should be. My friends Fish Tacos was also very good. I'll definitely recommend either.

    The waitstaff was pleasant and accommodating but the food was awful. The chef did reach out to discuss our experience and sent us complimentary dessert. A nice gesture but we won’t be returning to this restaurant.

    Our online reservations were easy to make. When we arrived we showed Proof of vaccination, picture ID and our temperature was taken. Masks are required as per Ontario Regulations. We were asked to acknowledge the standard non-exposure questions then seated. As this was our first time we needed extra time to view the full menu before placing our order. We ordered a Calamari appetizer to share that were cooked to perfection. Light golden brown thin coating with hints of parsley and lemon flavor in the coating and a zesty dipping sauce on the side. The Calamari was tender and fresh. Our Main course was 1 order of Fish and Chips, and 1 order of Braised Lamb shank. The fish was moist on the inside but the temperature of the cooking oil must have been a little high as the coating was a bit dark. Thankfully it did not take away from the flavor of the dish. The Braised Lamb could have been braised for another 1/2 hour as it was not as tender as some I have enjoyed. The next time we go I will try a different dish. Overall we had an enjoyable experience and felt comfortable dinning at the Social Club. We will be back.

    Poor service, not great food. It was disappointing to say the least. We sat down and started talking, we ordered drinks and received them and four different times we were asked if we werre ready to order food. By the fourth time the little girl who was serving us said ... you only have 90 minutes you know. Well thanks, because currently every restaurant location only does 90 minutes. It was very rude and pushy. Let us dictate how we spend our 90 minutes. My cranberry/brie/turkey panini had cold turkey and cold brie. While they said “thats how we make it”, its still disappointing. I guess my expecations are too high to expect a hot sandwich for $18. Shrimp tacos do not say “battered” on the menu. So again, not what was expected. When we asked for water she took 10 minutes to bring out a bottle of water. We did not order a bottle of water. We were subsequently charged for the bottle of water. When i told her we just wated a glass and we did not touch or open the bottle i told her I wanted it taken off the bill. She said they dont do glasses of water, just bottles. She proceeded to roll her eyes and take the bottle away. The service was so bad. There are 6 tables in total on this patio, with two servers. I dont understand how you are not more attentive. Once our food was dropped off we we left alone until we were done. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. There were so many instances in which bettwr communication would have made this a better experience. This establishment has the “underage drinking and people who dont expect much” vibe. I would never go here again.

    Really wish I got our servers name but she was an absolute delight! Love coming to the Sociable for date nights. It was raining when we went, but they put out a big tent for the evening which was awesome for outdoor dining. Give their calamari a try as well!

    Our server was great. We had no problem with the service. Unfortunately the food and drinks were sub-par and overpriced. I had the vegan tacos. The tofu tasted like it had been doused with Montreal steak spice and warmed up. Very salty and not the spicy deliciousness that was described on the menu. The mozzarella sticks were cold, and the caesars tasted like ice and tomato juice.

    Was having a nice dinner for my dads birthday, fish and chips was lacking in quality, the batter was falling apart and the fish was mushy so my dad sent it back. The owner then came out and ridiculed my dad because he didn’t like the dish, this caused a scene in front of the other tables. He then told us to leave if we didn’t like the restaurants food standard. This was completely unacceptable behaviour by an owner. The food here is far to expensive for the quality you receive, I would liken it to chucks road house but at chucks you get way more bang for your buck. Rude owner, don’t eat here.

    I have never left a bad review for a restaurant before. This one however, doesn’t deserve your money. To start they play loud and very obnoxious music which is uncomfortably loud. Staff were not following proper protocols for Covid. A man I assume was a manager was stomping around, ordering staff around and generally creating an unfriendly environment. The menus and table were sticky. Our server was indifferent and left us feeling like we were bothering her. Food options are blah. There is a reason why when every other place is sold out you can get a spot here. Just don’t go.

    We had a great time at the Sociable Pub, the staff are so nice, very friendly and easy to talk to. They were following the Covid guidelines and the ambience inside is great! We will definitely be returning back to The Sociable Pub.

    Didn’t even know this place existed! Excellent COVID protocol and service. Food portions were generous, particularly liked the beef curry. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

    It was only our waitresses second day to be fair- but when she messed up 3 of our orders, she had asked if the wrong item would be “okay”, and despite taking 30 minutes to bring us our first DRINKS, we were asked to “hurry up and finish” our second ones because the time limit was up by both the waitress and the manager. Manager was walking without a mask at times. Food was amazing though when we got our right order.
