We went for dinner for my husband’s 40th birthday. We had a reservation and our table was ready and clean. The waiter did okay. He was not too available but at the end of the meal disappeared for a really long time. We had to send someone else to go get him so we could get the check. The restaurant was a little loud at first but it cleared out a bit after the game started. They played good music and the environment is fun. The food was disappointing. For the price it was just basic food that need more seasoning and a special flare to be worth it. We had a party of 9 and we had 2 appetizers and no one was blown away by their meal. The drinks were great and totally worth it. My husband enjoyed himself and was happy but I hope they improve on the menu. We have been for brunch and we were pleased with the food so I recommend brunch over dinner.
Customer service was the best
Menu choices are varied. Price is moderate. Food quality is moderate. Service by our waitress was excellent. The short ribs were over cooked; seemed left over from yesterday.
Happy Hours draft beer prices are great.
Covid spacing was excellent.
Great service. Excellent appetizers (calamari, bruschetta and Irish Nachos). Great drinks and food was all very good. Shrimp and grits and Frito pie were the favorites. Would return the next time in the area.
Food was good, good service, good strong drinks as well.
Our waitress was so friendly and fun. The food is always amazing, I’m always apprehensive about trying new items, but I always get something different at Social House and I have never been disappointed. I will say that yesterday the hostess was very rude not only to us but I watched how she acted with the customers walking in and she was rude to them as well.
We ate at the Social House before the Cotton Bowl football game on December 30, 2020. The potato nachos were great with the brisket - we only wish there had been more brisket, cheese, and creme fraiche. My son had the bison burger and it was good and big! We also had the regular burger, grilled cheese and chicken brulee salad. Everything was good and the portions were large. Our server disappeared for a while but eventually came back with the check - it seemed as though we were a little rushed to leave when there wasn't anyone waiting in line - otherwise everything was good.
We always enjoy going to the Social House. Service is always outstanding, food is alway delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. This place never disappoints, the environment is fun and uplifting. I can’t say enough good things! 😋😃
Great food, drinks & service!!
This was the absolute worst service experience I've experienced in quite a while. First, we didn't get a server for 17 minutes! That was after I asked someone if they could serve us. Then it took 15 more minutes to get waters and mind you the waiter only brought 2, we asked for 4. Then the drinks came out wrong after we told her multiple times what we wanted. We ordered very basic drinks. My wife's burger was trash. My Frito pie rib was decent but definitely not worth $24. I would've enjoyed Sonic's $1 Frito pie wrap more. This was our third visit here and it's absolutely our last. I can't get over bad that service was, a manager never even came and asked us about our experience.
Nice service, good food, and great environment enjoyed my time
Went to dinner with friends on Friday night and where sat immeditely. Our server did a great job and our wait time once ordered was very fast. Food ordered had great taste and fresh.
Nice place, staff was great. Will visit again.
WOW cool place! Food was awesome, we will be back!
Best for groups
Food and drinks were good but nothing stood out as great. Good for watching games but get like we were being rushed out.
Great service! Food was good and plentiful. Fried pickles as an app are “must-have”!
Our sever Brian was WONDERFUL. He was very helpful in choices since this was the first time we had been there. Very laid back environment and great food for the price.
3 overcooked burgers and 30 mins to get a drink...never again
Sports Bar with GREAT menu! Definatly a social atmosphere. Not a quiet or romantic place but good for large groups.
Be on time ! Game days are packed! Great environment
Food was amazing, my second time coming and service, food and drinks are consistently good. I can’t wait to bring my family back!!
Horrible service and food
Waited forever to get served !
The hostess and waitress were awesome! Management was attentive and great customer service!
Drinks were good and an ok price. Food was not the best. We both felt Sick late in the evening. Will be back for drinks but not food.
My boyfriend and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary.
I believe our server was Jules, she was training a guy while serving us and she was excellent and has great recommendations.
I’m sure its normally is way busier on the weekends, but we came on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t to bad!
We loved the mimosa flight! Definitely getting that again. Brunch was delicious.
The cocktails and appetizer were great. The one issue I had and it’s kind of a big deal with the current state we are living in is that I found a big red lipstick print on the rim of my soft drink glass. I was not wearing lipstick and so when I noticed it I was immediately grossed out. I had already taken several drinks, luckily from a straw. But this tells me that the glass wasn’t washed or not properly washed. I did tell the server and he replaced it and apologized. I didn’t press the issue or tell the manager however I should have.
Great service!! All staff observed their Covid protocols and advised guests to follow them as well. Quality of food and service didn’t suffer at all because of these added safety measures.
Great place. Nice servers. Good food. Excellent location.
The waitress was lost and all over the place. She was slow on serving our table. She over charged our bill. The manager tried to be a bit rude in her defense when she was in the wrong. She lost my money for my bill and came back to asked me to pay again. The food was good and freshly hot I can’t take that away from the restaurant.
This place is my new favorite! The atmosphere is awesome, every entree and appetizer I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious, and their drinks are top notch. My boyfriend, and I, went for brunch with his adult kids on Father’s Day. We sampled each other’s meals and it was all so good that he and I came back for dinner the next night! Every member of the waitstaff we have had has given impeccable service, as well. They suggest great items, bring out sauces they think you might enjoy, and even let you sample a few drinks before you make a choice. They just seem to sincerely care about your experience, more than ANY place I’ve ever been. Check them out, you will not be sorry! Jewels is the best!!
The only minor opp for improvement is the batter used for onion strings and fried pickles was a little too light on salt. They were both good, but if the battery had a little more salt, they'd be perfect. Now, on the other hand, my peppercorn filet was amazing, as were my daughter's ribs, which literally fell off the bone, all of them. My oldest had grilled cheese and tomato bisque and she too was very pleased. Others in our party also enjoyed their meals. The portion sizes were generous and the service was superb!
Excellent service, wonderful appetizer and and entree’s were great.
We came here as a place for friends to visit and catch up.
A bit noisy, friendly server but sketchy.
Ordered fish and chips (both of us) but they had run out.
Ordered a margarita pizza and pulled pork nachos.
Pizza came out cold (even for a thin pizza it should have been hot), the pot nachos were a bag of potato chips piled 10” high on a plate with a small scoop of pork, a “slight” avocado drizzle and some other drizzle, again, hard to see.
Server was friendly but forgetful, food very forgettable and setting a bit loud for lots of intimate conversation.
Great food and atmosphere. Very friendly service
Food did not measure up to description on yelp and just mediocre at best
We went for Valentines Day and everything was nice except for the food. We had the chicken fried chicken, masked potatoes and asparagus. It was a little bland but overall nice experience. Dessert was great (chocolate cheesecake & wild berry pound cake) appetizers were great as well, (bruschetta & spicy Angry shrimp) Our waiter was excellent! The drinks were delicious!
Valentine’s Day was perfect. This small intimate setting was nice. I had the margarita float with add peach snaps. DELICIOUS!!!!!
Friendly staff. Food is just average. Execution of serve is below average. When we arrived they asked if we had a reservation (which we did) and they said they needed to clean off a table. Another couple walked in behind us and another hostess help them and sat them immediately. After seating the couple, she came to us and said I don’t know she did give you that table “maybe she didn’t see it”. We ordered appetizers, our main course came out prior to our appetizer, we let them know we had not received our appetizer, they asked if they should leave our main course, then before we replied they said they better leave it so it would not get cold. Appetizers came out when we were half way through our main course. While eating we received a call from one of the hostess at the restaurant to inform us we missed our reservation time and wanted to know if we were going to be coming. I informed her we are at the restaurant already eating. The reply was “Oh, guess someone forgot to check you in”. When we got the appetizer it was not as we expected. The menu said they shrimp appetizer had 3 shrimp, we only received 2. When we pointed this out the waiter he made up an excuse and said he could get us another one (we never got it). Dessert was very good.
