   Our server was great but explained there would be a 30-40 minute wait for food, we weren't in a rush but also felt the place was very understaffed, not the usual experience we get at spanish butcher. Steak was slightly undercooked also but given the wait we had to get it in the first place, we didnt complain and just ate it!

   First time visiting the Spanish Butcher and it was fantastic. Food, service … all were really good. Special shout out to our sever Josephine, excellent customer service and you really looked after us. Will definitely be back.

   The restaurant itself was excellent and the food very good. My one criticism is the low lighting in the washrooms!! I must say too that I dislike the Opentable booking system. I would much prefer direct contact with the restaurant either fewer conditions and fewer formalities.

   Service was 1st class, waiter explained menu and was very attentive. We went for the Galician chateaubriand and were very disappointed, was very chewy and not a patch on chateaubriand we had previously in Miller & Carter. Sides were lovely, Paprika potatoes and cauliflower cheese. There was a large table of very loud men using bad language which we felt should have been dealt with. It ruined the ambiance of the restaurant. We did say to the waiter and he said they had been asked to move to the bar area but didn't move. This, along with the underwhelming steak has put us off and we would not go back, even though the service was great.

   There was noise in the restaurant, but not so much you couldn't talk and enjoy your meal. The food was amazingly delicious. The temperature of the food was as it should be. We enjoyed every bite. My steak was overdone (I wasn't upset, but felt for the price and reputation of a steak house...that the doneness should be correct), but they immediately corrected it and were nice and prompt about it. The manager came over to see if I was satisfied, she was very nice. I appreciate the staff, the manager and the kitchen staff. They know what they are doing and I would recommend this restaurant and go again myself.

   Been here many times and it never disappoints. Had the roast lamb yesterday and it was superb! Excellent service from friendly staff.

   We had a lovely evening, the staff were amazing and very attentive. The only issue we had the level of salt on every item of food. I think it should be an option as it put us off eating some of our side dishes as there was a lot of salt on the meat as well.
