   Fantastic food for all three of us, choices galore and very full tummy’s and still some veg left, the Sunday dinners are out of this world! Service excellent, always a lovely warm friendly welcome from the minute you step in the door till the minute you leave… we can’t wait to dine with you all again thank you Sarah Dan and your wonderful team!

   Another first class Sunday lunch at the Stag Inn Crosby on Eden. Top quality restaurant food, excellent service in beautiful surroundings.

   All previous reviews said place was cosy, but we were cold in the room we were in. We had a long wait on everything apart from the bill.

   The Stag has been recently taken over and had a fantastic sympathetic refurbishment. The menu is quite small so as someone that doesn’t eat meat my choices were more limited , however I did have the fish and chips which was delicious, lovely fresh fish and a crispy batter with homemade chips and minty peas . The tartare sauce was freshly made . My husband had a steak which he said was perfect. The fact that the menu isn’t large means that everything is fresh . Having it re open is such a bonus for this area and we look forward to our next visit .

   Fantastic evening in this iconic country pub on the outskirts of Carlisle, in the quaint village of low Crosby. Warm welcome as always, great cozy atmosphere with friendly staff and great selection of real ales. Delicious flat iron steak cooked to perfection. Can’t recommend this establishment enough.
