The Stravaig a contemporary kitchen & cocktail Bar with added function room within the kylestrome hotel. Serving up fresh local Scottish cuisine. In the heart of ayr town centre and private parking. With our cosy bar (the cookie) and restaurant wether it be for food or a cocktail in hand with friends we are here to provide you with top service for any occasion. Beer garden to front and to back for those summer days events. We also have an 80-100 capacity function room with bar for hire.

    5 girls out for annual reunion. Fantastic night from start to finish in Stravaig. Not one thing to fault - every aspect perfect 🤩 thank you all. We will be back xx

    Our party of 4 friends arrived a hour early. Lovely greeting and got amazing service from the start. Food yummy… staff delightful. I came home and my husband and I booked our Wedding Anniversary meal there for later this month. I know we won’t be disappointed!!!. Well done everyone.

    Great food, staff were very attentive without being intrusive and the ambience was perfect for our lunch. We were able to chat without having to shout over loud music. Definitely will be back!

    Food and service very good. Nice ambience inside with regards to lighting and music. Would like another fish option on mains or specials and negroni a bit on the weak side. Overall highly recommended.

    Staff were wonderful for my father in laws 70th celebrations. Megan served us our food and she was so lovely and attentive. Nothing was a both for the staff who let me decorate the table a little. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

    First time visiting and it was exceptional. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and food was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Look forward to returning.
