The Stravaig a contemporary kitchen & cocktail Bar with added function room within the kylestrome hotel. Serving up fresh local Scottish cuisine. In the heart of ayr town centre and private parking. With our cosy bar (the cookie) and restaurant wether it be for food or a cocktail in hand with friends we are here to provide you with top service for any occasion. Beer garden to front and to back for those summer days events. We also have an 80-100 capacity function room with bar for hire.

    Fantastic meal for my son’s 18th! Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful! Food was excellent. Keep on doing what you’re all doing; fabulous! Thank you 🤩

    Food and service was amazing. 3rd or 4th time having dinner there and has not disappointed yet. Will definitely be eating there more often

    Had a special dietary request which was treated by the young staff so discreetly and was accommodated so well. No one could manage dessert as we were all stuffed and left very happy. Staff are so nice, can’t recommend highly enough

    Service was terrible waited about 25 minutes between starter and main waitresses to busy talking be a while before we return

    Lovely food, great friendly service with a smile (and dancing) relaxed atmosphere. Music was a good mix, staff singing along. Had a lovely night out for a date night.

    Had a great time at Stravaig, Food was excellent for breakfast and evening meal. All staff and management have been excellent and they were friendly and helpful, We Would recommend this restaurant. Ann and Brian.

    First visit to the Stravaig and I will be back. Lovely range of food to choose from. Timings were perfect and service was good. I had a lovely time out with my friends.

    Another great visit to the Stravaig. Great cocktails and good choice of food. The Stravaig seafood plate was excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff. A great addition to Ayr. Look forward to next visit.
