   Enjoyable meal in their new premises. Comfortable and relaxed. Staff excellent both serving food and behind the bar.pleasant and knew what they were doing. 3 options not available on the menue which was a bit surprising as it was Easter Weekend. The meals we selected were tasty and were served on hot plates which is always a good sign. Good selection of wine and beers. Will be the first reastaurant we will book next time we stay in Abereyron

   6 of us dined on Saturday afternoon over the Easter w/e & it didn’t disappoint. Shared the pork scratchings, pork cheeks, whitebait and duck spring rolls all packed with flavour….mains of hake(fish of the day), the chicken & leek pie and the steaks were all beautiful and well cooked. Deserts of crème brûle & the damson sticky toffee pudding were both superb…..we’re so lucky to have the Stubborn Duckling in Aberaeron!!!

   The food was terrific especially the whitebait and souffle. Slightly disappointed with the roasted beetroot but it was probably the wrong choice to go with the lamb which, in itself, was excellent. Will have to go again now that we have tried the restaurant. Excellent value

   Thoroughly enjoyed our first meal at the Stubborn Duckling. All four of us enjoyed every course our compliments to the chef. As friends we eat out regularly when we get together and have become increasingly disappointed with the quality of food being served for increasing prices. We shall definitely return. Excellent service, standards and quality, thank you.

   Lovely new restaurant, good choice on menu. Staff very nice and helpful. Delicious goan curry and everyone enjoyed the food. Drinks were also reasonable.

    Always wanted to eat at the stubborn duckling and now they have moved to the new venue, which is stunning by the way, we made it in for a Saturday evening .. what can I say the staff are lovely as a starter .. the start is the food of course partner had the lamb rump and I had the fish and chips .. both dishes amazing flavour wise etc .. lamb cooked to perfection with the truffle mash with a gravy with so much flavour . Fish cooked beautifully .. we had “snacks” as starters .. duck spring rolls, pork crackling and focaccia.. again spot on and the bread the lightest more flavourful ever had .. if you are in the area you need to book .. we will definitely be back it’s the new favourite .. thank you stubborn duckling for a great evening x
