we enjoyed our experience at the Restaurant very much, our lunch was really enjoyable and beautifully presented, service was very good too. Thank you, we would certainly recommend the restaurant to anyone!
Great service and superb food.. I highly recommend The Terrace…
My family and I were grateful that we were accommodated for a 12.45 booking we were made aware that the restaurant would be busy so when our lunch took time to arrive we were suitably understanding. Excellent staff did their best to please us and could not have been more helpful. As we were having to leave before finishing our cheese course, we were given a doggy box to enable us to take remaining cheese home. Overall a happy occasion and we look forward to returning ASAP. Overall good - but portions extremely small - one very small fillet of sea bass and an equally small salad is not a main. The quality was fine but the quantity was mean and rather a disappointment. Surely you could afford to be a little more generous?
Lovely food and atmosphere. Very pleasant service.
Wonderful location.. Service was friendly, efficient and excellent service, Sea bass & chunky chip very good & desserts tasty too.. Highly recommend a lunch here if you’re visiting Wisley. Thank you Jacob & Antonio. You made our lunch a lovely experience,
Lovely lunch celebrating with my sister in law for her birthday. Beautiful decor, nice relaxing ambience, attentive staff, good food and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend!
The experience is best described as a catalogue of errors. The reception didn’t have my Open Table booking even though I confirmed by text. The starters arrived before the drinks. One portion of butter was provided for four people with the bread basket. The vegan order was entered incorrectly and instead pork was presented so we had to wait for the incorrect meal to be replaced. The beef was thin, stringy and not hot and quickly cooled on the cold plates it was served on. Desserts were served to the wrong table.
That aside we had a window table, the ambience was nice and the restaurant reasonably quiet and the serving staff were friendly.
Overall just too slapdash and disorganised to recommend at £35/ head.
Very good welcome, excellent food and service. Lovely experience.
Lovely restaurant but we were kept waiting quite a while before anyone came to take our order for tea or bring over the pre-booked afternoon tea. Food was nice enough but lacking a “wow” factor
We sat outside as it was a hot sunny day. Waitress was excellent. very friendly.
Food choice to suit all diets. Free bread goes down well and it was delicious.
Made our day special.
Visited Wisley for the first time in 20+ years (now joined). Was for the special birthday for a friend. Loved the day as well as the al fresco lunch which was superb, lovely food and great service and felt good value for the quality of the food. Will be back
Lovely setting and atmosphere, but considering how limited the menu was the food should have been better. The roast beef was so sinewy and chewy, such a disappointment. Service was pretty slow too. Probably better for afternoon tea but I won’t be going back for a special meal again.
Good food, lovely environment and very pleasant attentive staff. Sprouting brocoli could have been cooked a little more and knife a little sharper
Warm welcome, good service and comfortable chairs. Food good.
Lovely setting menu limited but the 2 courses we all had were delicious great service too we would definitely go back
We very much enjoyed our lunch at The Terrace yesterday, we had sea bass which was nicely cooked and ordered some chips as a side, which was plenty. The chocolate mousse was one of the best I have ever had ( and I’ve tried a good few), you could tell good chocolate was used.
Lovely fresh food, beautifully presented and very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.
Dined yesterday. The food was good but disappointed the gooseberry dessert had gone as the strawberry meringue substitute was tough and not the same standard. We tried the vegan burger it was lacking flavour and too well cooked
Lovely decor, good service, food well presented and tasty.
All members of staff were polite, attentive and efficient. The food was excellent and the restaurant was comfortable and has a pleasant outlook onto the gardens. We could not fault the service and location in any way. Highly recommended.
Nothing too showy nor too ambitious; just good food, well cooked at a reasonable price.
I treated a friend to afternoon tea as a birthday present. The service was great, we asked to sit outside as it was a beautiful day and this was done easily. The food was lovely, soft scones, fresh sandwiches, beautiful cakes and tarts. Everything was a good size and excellent quality. Extra tea was offered too. A great experience and excellent value.
Good healthy options, well cooked and presented, excellent service and great atmosphere.
We had a glorious day at Wisley made all the more special by a delicious, relaxing lunch in the Terrace restaurant. The simple set menu was ideal and the ambience and service were just right for a quiet break from enjoying the gardens.
We were well taken care of and the food was excellent, especially the vegan beetroot and peanut burger. This was a great encouragement for people trying to eat less meat!
Excellent value lovely meal can only recommend to others
Nice venue nice food perfect for lunch or afternoon tea
Really good food, even pace and attentive service.
Very good afternoon tea with all the trimmings. Lovely surroundings and excellent value for members. Non members have to pay to go into garden which makes it more expensive.
Excellent service, delicious food.
Restaurant comfortable whilst displaying a sense of creativity and wonderful ambience.
Great place to eat always something different on offer. Very friendly and helpful staff.
First (of many) visits following a great experience yesterday for lunch.
Specified 1 gluten-free and aware of warnings but needn't have been concerned given the attention to detail of all the staff.
Service was superb, prompt, attentive and highly informative.
The food was cooked to perfection, worthy of a top class restaurant
Although limited to set lunch menu there was sufficient choice.
Very enjoyable and will be returning often
Limited choice but beautifully executed. The blend of flavours in all of the dishes we ate was excellent and freshly produced. Service was excellent.
The restaurant is wonderful however it was most upsetting accessing it. I was meeting my sister who recently broke her leg and we came thru the shop following a couple of staff thru some doors next to entrance of the terrace
The two extraordinary unpleasant staff forced us back into the shop making us walk all the way to entrance only to have to walk all the way back to the same place. I’ve been coming to wisley fir 40 years paid my membership
All that time and never been treated so
Badly! My poor sister limped the whole way! I am very upset we are not hooligans trying to gain entry we are all in our 70s. It’s such a shame.
The lunch was super at least they have some manners and humanity. Perhaps won’t visit the terrace again as it spoiled our reunion as we haven’t been able to see each other for months. However everything at the restaurant was lovely.
Excellent location - light and airy. Good value lunch
A truly delightful experience
We had afternoon tea which arrived on large plates with four finger sandwiches, very small cakes and minute scones. Although it was enough for us it may not be for someone with larger appetite. Very nice decor and lovely service from our friendly waitress.
Lovely tea, in lovely ambience, engaging staff. Would recommend.
This is a lovely new venue at Wisley. Tables are well spaced out and it has a great outside terrace area as well. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive and welcoming.
It was a super way to conclude our visit to the gardens and the Wisley Flower Show - a treat which I would not hesitate to repeat.
