If you wish to book for an Afternoon tea, you must make sure that under the time slot you select the word 'experiences' from 3:15pm. Please note afternoon tea will not be available from 29th October until March, if you wish to book for breakfast, brunch is served only on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-10:45am. Dinner reservations for Wisley Glow are available from 24th November until 2nd January.
We are located within RHS Garden Wisley and as such a garden entry fee does apply if your not RHS members. The Terrace Restaurant is part of the Wisley family, offering an unhurried lunch served at your table, using fresh produce from the gardens itself.
Please note all dishes are produced in an environment where nuts and gluten are present and may contain traces. If you have any dietary requirements, please inform the restaurant at time of booking (We do require 48 hours prior notice) and remind the employee at time of ordering.

    It's a lovely restaurant and we enjoyed the experience before the Wisley Glow. Kenny who served us was very helpful and pleasant. The food was only fair. The menu seemed very limited. I had a turkey roast dinner which was the only meat dish on the menu. I'm not averse to veggie or vegan but neither enticed me and unusually it listed a fish I'd never heard of. The turkey and stuffing was really tough, the roast potatoes reheated with the taste that often accompanies that and the sprouts rock hard. My friend's meal - beetroot and horseradish risotto slightly better but she wasn't impressed. The food aspect was a shame, but it was our first visit so maybe visited them on an off day. The restaurant had a lovely ambience though. So I would try it again but maybe with a more discerning eye on the menu.

    Nice service, comfortable seats, nice ambiance, the only thing that let it down is the food was lukewarm. I also feel that we should be able to decide on the service charge not have it added to the bill.

    Beautiful interior. Very good service. The food was disappointing. The risotto was uninspiring. The Christmas pudding was very good but the portion felt small with only a dash of custard. The meal did not feel good value for money.

    Another really enjoyable meal with lovely service, this time set to the backdrop of Glo. As a regular visitor the standard has always remained high and is a must when visiting Wisley.

    We visited after going to Wisley Glow. The staff were very attentive but not overly, just perfect. Never been before but would definitely go back as the restaurant was very comfortable and the food was extremely good.

    We eat here fairly regularly. Zoe is an excellent waitress. Very friendly and obliging. The food was lovely and she she got us custard for the dessert. We will be back.

    Fixed menu had a good choice for vegetarian and vegan’s also being covered. Service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. Spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully for the Christmas season. They should be proud of the staff they have working there.

    Excellent restaurant within Wisley. Food was beautifully cooked, ingredients were high quality and the recipes were innovative. I had the beetroot and horseradish risotto which was delicious. I’m not a lover of beetroot but cooked like this it was on another level and definitely a dish I would chose again. P

    Great food with lovely staff, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend - we had pork and pistachio terrine followed by turkey. Good size portions - shared starters.

    The choice was very limited, the starter I had was well presented and tasty. The main course was poor, the plate was swimming in gravy unacceptable should have been served separately. The vegetables were mostly underdone sprouts too hard (almost raw) to cut so left most of those the roast parsnip was barely roasted the roast potatoes over done and tasted like they had been sitting on a hot tray for a long time. There was one green leaf vegetable which was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Until I see a better more reasonably priced menu at The Terrace I will not be going again. The friend with whom I was dining felt exactly the same but to the staffs credit they took note of the fact that she was lactose intolerant and acted accordingly with her food. I understand it is easier for them to serve everything on one plate but personally it is not a method I enjoy. I know I should have complained at the time but I find that quite embarrassing but in future I will most definitely take that course of action Sheila

    The food was good and well presented but a little slow in coming. Some items were missing and had to be requested. Could have done with more vegetables and potato. Service charge excessive. Seating is low for an adult, otherwise tables a reasonable size.

    As always the food was delicious - both vegetarian and non-vegetarian (it was good to actually have a choice for vegetarians from the set menu). The set menu is ver good value for money. The service was efficient and friendly. Good atmosphere.

    The service was, as usual slow! The food for the most part was delicious, shower a side order of Brussel sprouts were almost raw and my desert literally had no flavour at all ( Apple and berry meringue tart) however the flavours for the rest of the meal were wonderful. However let down by the slow taking of order again. I would eat there again but there is always something that takes the perfection of it hence not being a 5 star

    Beautiful restaurant, set menu with good choices. Roast beef as good as always, and cooked it the way I requested. Friendly polite staff, quiet enough to have a good conversation. Highly recommend. Very special.

    After a relaxing walk around the gardens it was time to enjoy lunch. The menu was mouth watering and the our choice was cooked to perfection. Imogen the young lady who looked after us was perfect in every way. If you want to avoid the queues in the other restaurants, and enjoy being looked after, then this is the place for you.
