The steak ale pie is excellent as is the sticky toffee pudding. I recommend the Thomas Egerton, not cheap but very good.

Not been over summer much but still welcomed and service was excellent and food was excellent and served nice and hot. A small thing but it’s amazing how many restaurants don’t service food hot. Full marks to the Thomas Egerton 👍

A Sunday afternoon visit to Thomas Egerton, as always the bar was very busy with diners. The staff were friendly and attentive delivering food and drinks quickly. My friend had the Sunday roast which was huge and I had the steak pie which was almost as good as homemade.

We are a group of six ladies who meet up monthly for lunch. Since coming to the Thomas Egerton, we have not looked for anywhere else. The food is excellent; the service is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you. Jan.
