This place is beautiful. Staff is super polite and nice. Music is good and foot has lot of variety. Overall it was amazing dinner.
Really excited to visit and was not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food lived up to expectations. Everything was fantastic. Shame to hear it is closing!
The food was tasty and creative. They seemed to be understaffed, drinks arrived after the food. Staff were friendly, but the £95 bill was way too much for what was on offer
Great food and friendly service! Not too busy in a good location.
We were looked after so well. The outside seating is spacious and on a very quiet little side street. Such a lovely afternoon. Thank you to the team!
Many items on the menu not available
The actual food (other than the chicken) was poor
Service was average
Everything was lovely, no complaints
Quiet for a Saturday night, food a bit pricey for what it was. Not a bad night out but not fantastic either
Didn’t bring out part of the order, but charged for it. The waitress said she’d try to get this refunded, but instead of returning to the table to update us after going out to the back, took other people’s orders instead.
Food was nice, but nothing that special.
Jazz band were excellent.
Outside very pleasant
Lovely night at the Tramshed. We sat outside down the side lane, charming, and spacious from other tables. Tables inside were quiet, on a Friday night, but not sure why as its spacious and all very covid compliant.Food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back.
We booked the terrace and, whilevit was nice to be outside on a warm evening, we were actually out of sight in the passage round the corner. It meant service wasn't what it might have been, though I should say that our waiter was great. Food was tasty. Drinks were good.
The service was definitely too long (>45min) even if the restaurant was almost empty. The food was good but nothing amazing. They should add more basic meals to their menu like a steak under 30 GBP or chocolate cake in dessert.
I was a big fan of the old Tramshed and was not aware that the restaurant had changed hands. This new operation is a far cry from the Mark Hix offering. The chicken for sharing was good, the burger was particularly poor. Overall the food was only very average
No one was at the reception when my husband came in and he just walked in, I had to remind him to use track and trace and sanitize. The waiter was lovely. The starter was a joke, sourdough was just sliced with butter and the leek kimchi was horrible. The mains was expected to be horrible the tuna was frozen and partially cooked and the pork was just two thin slices and I think they were just torched and not really cooked. My husband had 2 pint of larger and I had a small glass of rioja. The total bill was a shock! £80! Overpriced! We double checked the bill and paid it. Then we found out the restaurant is closing next month (thank god!) We will never go back to it.
The food was absolutely fantastic. However, the over one hour wait for our main after our starter was far from ideal.
We had a good time, the young girl that was looking after us was a good laugh and a good waitress.
Food was excellent and the band were good as well.
Will be back soon.
Superb food and even better service. None of us have had chicken quite like it. Can’t wait to return!
This is a fantastic place with an amazing team. Great cocktails and food, very much recommend.
Nice place! I will definitely go back to try other dishes!
Lovely venue. Was quiet when we first arrived but did liven up. Food was good. We shared a plaice.
The service was excellent and the venue was very accommodating.
The food was really tasty and well presented. The variety on the menu was, just what we was looking for.
The serving staff, knew their stuff. They helps us with any questions that we had about the menu, which was so satisfying, as it was our first time at the restaurant.
And was very Covid friendly xxx
Booked restaurant for my in-laws. They loved it. Really nice portion sizes, tasty food, friendly staff.
The service was not great - we had to keep calling the waiter over to order and towards the end were completely left alone - we were not offered dessert and had to chase down our bill.
Whilst overall the food was tasty we did query whether the sour dough bread was actually sour dough and the burrata looked and tasted like mozzarella. Overall we had a nice evening and the ambience was great however we expected more given the restaurants reputation.
Service was overall good - the staff were attentive and organised however our mains arrived as we were mid way through our starters which was a bit strange. Not sure if there was a mix up in the kitchen but we ended up finishing our starters with the mains sat next to us.
Didn’t get drinks that we ordered until it was too late
Food was expensive for what it was
Great location. Friendly staff. Would describe food as average. Servers need to do better job attending to tables outside and informing time required for sharing dishes.
Absolutely beautiful food! Perfect place for foodies! The staff were perfect as well, very polite and just pleasure to talk to.
Went for a business meal with colleagues. All enjoyed our meals and the friendly service
Will definitely be coming back!
(I recommend the Grilled Tuna 🤤)
Great visit from my husbands birthday.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Will return soon.
Second time since everywhere has opened up and both times because the friends I was meeting are vegetarians. We got a few different bits and shared each time. I'd like to go back with someone non vegetarian to try the rest of the menu!! Really yummy food and the slushy cocktail is amazing!
Ridiculously tasty and creative food and lovely staff :)
We had a lovely table outside in the sunshine, the mains were delicious, dessert was a little less exciting, but the service was great and I would definitely recommend.
Lovely setting, great staff, delicious food. We dined on a Wednesday eve so it was very quiet. Bar shuts at 10pm on a weekday.
In seating, It took 20minutes before we were even given the menu, which is quite poor. On a positive, our server was polite and helpful. We did however have to ask for the dessert me. We were sat next to a couple who had a dog, which was not a guid dog . Was not particularly happy about that.
We visited the Tramshed for a Fathers Day lunch and were not disappointed. Food was delicious with vegetarian and vegan options, cocktails delicious, service excellent, will defiantly go again and try the jerk sunday.
Decent meal on a Sunday - had the roasts, which were quite minimal compared to other Sunday roasts. Service was great but a little slow at times.
The staff is very kind, the food is very good, I just think the main dishes are too small, more like a starter, I had a Beef Burger which was amazing but my husband ordered the pork belly and we think is too small for a main.
However, I recommend this restaurant, the food is delicious and the desserts are absolutely great!
It has all the potential to be a great project. It’s close but not quite there yet. Food is not bad but could be better. Portions are on the small side. Staff are friendly and helpful, but need more experience. The Jazz on Saturday night is a plus and adds to the atmosphere. It’s a great spot and we will try it again. Hopefully we’ll give it a five star next time.
