The Trinity Quarter
Excellent steak , great wine , great atmosphere , good service
The steak is absolutely amazing, however the roulade needs a bit of work. It was too sweet and flat. Price wise, a bit expensive but a lovely night for a catch up with friends or a date night. Would recommend!
Very basic early bird menu and the food was tasteless the only okay thing on the menu was the chicken wings and at that there was very little meat on them
Lovely food, nicely cooked steak and a good choice on the menu. Definitely will be eating here again.
Excellent Meal as always! The staff were so attentive, particularly towards my grandmother and catered for her every need! A great restaurant for families!
Steak was amazing and the BBQ ribs were so tasty! Well worth the visit. Staff were lovely and attentive and the decor and feel of the restaurant was warm and cozy.
Always a great meal and service!
Great friendly attentive staff
Lovely dining room, nice setting.
Main course choices a little limited.
3 of the 4 of us ordered the 8oz fillet for mains, all to be medium. However they were all well done.
We got the attention of one of the servers to let them know and she looked at me blankly. I said it was OK (as we had already started to eat and wouldn’t want to waste food or insist on it being replaced) but just wanted to let her know however she offered a poor apology and that was it!
Starters and main were excellent as always. But desert was disappointing. Ordered the fondue as I've had it twice before and it was as if the chef had ran out of everything through bit on a plate. Choc tasted burned. Flogs from a 2 euro store I steaf of proper marshmallows and serious lack of fruit. 3 strawberries?! Over all the food was fab but dessert was a let down
Overall very disappointing Sunday lunch. Service was average but food less so. However, first some positives- the Shrimp Cocktail and Duck Tacos were tasty. The atmosphere was nice. But not for the less than positive aspects!! The Fishcakes would be better described as Potato Cakes! For mains the Roast Beef was dried out, although the Turkey & Ham was a better option. The Thai green Curry was inedible and tasted as if it was bought in and thickened with corn flour. Despite the manager being told of this it still made its way onto the bill. Not clever customer service. Desserts were ok, bought in but cheap. Coffee was good! Won’t be back unfortunately.
Trinity Quarter is offering a great menu, with reasonable prices, good quantities of food and extremely pleasant staff. Highly recommended. Food comes with a lovely ambiance and leaves a lasting impression
Very enjoyable meal, food was good and overall a great atmosphere
Staff were so friendly, food was amazing definitely will be going again
Lovely restaurant in a historic building in Drogheda town. The starter of prawn pil pil was nice but after just spending 7 weeks in Spain it had a lot to live up to. The salmon main course was delicious and the fish was perfectly cooked. My daughter had the crab claws, which she said weren’t as good as usual and steak for her main course. She enjoyed the steak but it was a very fatty piece of meat. The service was great and the wine was fine. Overall a good experience, I will be back and I hope the salmon dish will be on the menu!
Despite being during the middle of the Fleadh festival the standard of food did not drop. Great choice and a great atmosphere. Giod value for a mixed group.
Superb food, and always great service. Excellent value for money.
Great atmosphere. Lots of choice . Staff are always great here.
Always enjoy eathing here, and the sunday offer of two steaks, two sides, 2 sauces a desert and two glasses of wine for €50 is a fantastic offer, looking forward to my next visit.
Fantastic value on Sunday - €25 for tbone steak wi the works...inlcuding glass of wine and dessert to share.....the waitress was nowhere to be found...had to get up of our seats to ask for our drinks......food arrived quickly and it was deeelish but yet again waitress was not present to order more drinks....had to get up again to look for service for drinks and again for dessert.....staff need to be more on ball......def be back for food tho...😋
Food, cocktails, setting, atmosphere & staff were all great. Disappointing service to the table with various dishes missed but delivery of cupcakes with a sparkler for a birthday celebrant was a lovely touch. Definitely worth a visit.
The starter and main were delicious, but the dessert we chose not on par with the rest of the dishes, fondue was dark chocolate so very bitter, with a few sweets and one strawberry cut into pieces which in turn difficult to dip, and on the menu it said fruit, marshmallows and fudge, so expected fruit and received just one chopped up strawberry, so dessert was a let down. But other two great!
Food was great staff were friendly and service was excellent would highly recommend this restaurant and venue to everyone
New starter of flash fried beef in teriyaki sauce with pak choi was stunning as was the steak and mustard mash with roasted root veg. Shared a choc fondue for dessert, more than enough for 2 people in the 1 portion. Woudl recommended sides are made a bit bigger, at 4 euro each in addition to a main they should he more sizeable.
Very nice place, gorgeous food, perfect service. Cocktails was also amazing 👌
Really enjoyed the food and the staff are great. Really friendly and helpful, interacted really well and entertained my 2 up and gave us cupcakes and a candle to celebrate my hubbies bday. Highly recommend.
Great Service and Value for Money, would definitely recommend.
I really enjoyed my meal at TQ. We had duck tacos which were gorgeous for starters along with the mushrooms which I wouldn't order again. I had the peppered chicken which was fantastic and my partner had the striploin steak which he loved. Service good as it was quiet. Looking forward to next visit.
Great meal, great service, and fantastic atmosphere. Will definitely be back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Loved the look of the place and had such beautiful food and great cocktails , very good value!!
Fantastic place. Food is amazing and service was impeccable from automatically refilling our jug of water without having to be asked, to very quick service and no wait time between courses. Great atmosphere in the place. Definitely would go again.
Fab food and amazing service the venue itself was lovely
The service was excellent , and the food was lovely, but quite expensive for what we received.
Excellent food and service but the wine has a 100% to 300% mark-up over retail prices. e.g. Chocolate Box Shiraz - €50.00 - available at KWM Wines and Spirits for €18.01 (retail, 6 bottles or more) 278% mark-up.
If I could write yes and no I would, we visited on Father’s Day and had a lovely meal food was fab! Lovely girl served us ! My mother was with us and ordered a pink gin and tonic she complained of Taste of tonic straight away and we presumed she was over reacting and told the girl to leave it it was ok. We then went into the bar to play the rock and roll bingo which was great fun and my dad even won €10 which was great. I ordered a vodka and tonic from the Barman (stylish guy good hair quiff) he went out the back to check if he had any and cake back with it when I sat down and tasted it I couldn’t believe the taste. It was like flowery botanical kinda taste and not in a good way. I took one sip and there was a young man going around Collecting glasses on the floor and I asked him to taste it he agreed there was definitely a funny taste to it and brought it back to be changed to a vodka and diet 7up! (So my mam wasn’t wrong after all) I watched him go to the bar and I seen the chap that served me giving him a funny look, when them young man came back to the table minus my old drink with the new one he said €7.70 please I laughed and handed him the money saying to him that was very bad customer service, he replied with look I would have changed it but the Barman said there’s nothing he can do just because I don’t like it, and they have to get rid of the old stock anyway. I actually couldn’t believe my ears . It spoilt our night been honest as our group couldn’t believe it. Food was fab and service was great in restaurant but bar service really let the place down big time. I wasn’t going to say anything but if it happened in my business I’d like to know
We were delighted with our meal. Outstanding quality and presentation. And great prices
Our first time at the Trinity Quarter and both the food and service was excellent. I could not fault the experience, one of the nicest meals I have had in town in recent months. The staff in particular were very attentive and friendly. It is not often the staff in a restaurant receive the praise they deserve, so I hope a manager reads this and commends them for their hard work.
Waitress got my starter wrong which then resulted with my wife eating her starter alone and I hand to wait 50 mins for my stater to come.
When paying for the bill I informed the waitress that I was paying with card and when paying my card was declined twice even though there was sufficient funds on the account, after the second time the waitress asked me “do you have enough money”. I thought this was a little cheeky so I asked for a different card machine and they got me a card machine that worked. When leaving nobody acknowledged us to say thank you or have a good night.
Overall it wasn’t a great experience, the food was nice and reasonably priced but the service was really poor.
Service and food quality is brilliant. Just hey give 1.5 hour and then brought bill even we didn’t ask.
Overall this spot has great potential as the food is very good, but there are small things that need to be done to justify the price. For example, while the servers were very nice and did an adequate job, it was clear that they hadn’t been trained to have the attention to detail that would be found in similar restaurants. It was also very difficult to get their attention at times. Also at one point, my husband requested the dessert menu near the end of the night from the manager (presumably as she was dressed differently from the others) but over 20 minutes later we hadn’t received it. There weren’t even any members of staff around to follow up with so we gave up and eventually got the bill and left. We would likely go back for the food but would urge the owners to work on the overall experience and perhaps include a side with the main to make diners feel like they are getting better value for money.
Starter was very nice but the vegetarian options were very limited. The veggie curry was just ok. My friend who was celebrating a birthday was not happy with her main course and was offered another main when everyone was finished. She declined as we were going to a concert and then she was charged full price. When we complained she was only offered a €5 discount which wasn't very good.
