Can’t fault the service and the beautiful rear garden and ambience however the food was very poor, overpriced and dry, ploughman’s was so disappointing £15 for a large piece of rind with a bit of Stilton attached a limp salad, two pieces of bread, less than a mouthful of coleslaw, some pickle and a couple of tiny slices of gerkin!! £9 for olives and bread, the olives we’re disgusting, jarred and not fresh. The burgers and pie were dry but the staff were lovely.

I have been trying to find a great Sunday Roast in or around Medway and thought I would try the Tudor Rose's offering. My partner and I were welcomed warmly and were presented with a chalk board with our menu options. There was a decent selection of starters and roast choices and there were a few beers and lagers to choose from. I would say that the lamb was more successful than the chicken and I have to admit that the roast potatoes were not amazing but the rest of the meal was delicious. I also had a sticky toffee pudding for dessert, which had some sprinkles on top; I would probably have left those off as the dessert didn't need it. All in all, I would return to the Tudor Rose and enjoyed my day out to Upnor.

Lovely service, delicious food and beautiful pub. A bit of rowdy noise from the bar next to the restaurant area was annoying but it was Saturday night so to be expected.

Thank you Laura for your honest review, Friday and Saturday nights can be a little noisy due to the size of the place it sounds louder than it is :-) We hope to see you soon with a little less noise. Thank you again and see you soon. Tudor Rose

Enjoyable evening with nice food. I had the Tudor burger which didn’t blow me away but the chips were lovely. Next time I’ll try the pie as it looked amazing. Staff were very polite and friendly. Where we sat had dim lighting which in my opinion could go up 20% to make menu reading a little easier but was also cozy so 50/50 on that. We will go back some time soon but didn’t leave with the urge to do so immediately.
