The Twits Afternoon Tea
Opening from 1st August 2024

Muggle-Wump brownies, Jam Roly-Poly sponge and our Trick or Twit scones – indulge your inner child and enter into the story of The Twits with our deliciously themed Afternoon Tea inspired by Roald Dahl’s iconic book.
Items include a rather wonderful new take on Wormy Spaghetti (‘Hampshire’ Cucumber Worms, Cream Cheese, Wholemeal Bread), Mrs Twit’s Bird Pie (Chicken, Leek & Ham) and a culinary exploration of Mr Twit’s beard across three separate savories. Sweets are inspired by much loved characters, the Muggle-Wumps and the Roly-Poly Bird and of course no afternoon tea would be complete without scones though, there’s a twist! Guests will have the chance to choose from buttermilk or marmite scones - you’ll never know which one is which!

The Twits Afternoon Tea at London Marriott County Hall will be served daily between 12PM– 5PM from 1st August 2024 and will be priced at £65 per adult and £45 per c

The worst afternoon tea we've ever had, food was horrible & bland, no ambience what so ever. 1 member of staff who kept disappearing. Extortionate price for around £5 worth of food each. Was meant to be a treat for my grandaughters birthday after visiting the Paddington experience ( which was fab!) But ruined the end of the day

The concept is very good. The room is decorated excellently with lots of attention to detail. The food wasn’t great but went with the theme

The staff is very slow and unprofessional. The guy forgot to give us a menu when we got a table. Then he forgot to bring jam, and butter for our scones, and I looked for him for 20 minutes. When I asked to add some hot water to our tea, we got a teapot just with hot water and no tea bag in it. It was thrown away..... It is quite an expensive experience, and for this money, you expect at least a regular service, not something extra, but a normal service. Here you will not receive even this.

Overpriced in comparison to what you would be served at other places. Ritz is slightly more expensive but you get served 3 times the amount of food. This place is £45/p and ritz is £70. Definitely not value for money.

Lovely venue, great food. Staff a little invisible. No one to greet us on arrival, and no one present when looking to pay the bill, but when there, very friendly, helpful and laid back.

Absolutely fantastic experience for 2 Twits loving kids - and their mums. The artwork and attention to detail was fantastic and the tea room set up was so pretty. Food was fun and delicious - The Twits would have been proud. Service was great and the staff were so lovely and accommodating with nothing being too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a lovely time at the Twits. The food was great, it is a bit pricey but good for a special occasion. It was very quiet when we were there.
