As always, amazing service and delicious food. Best restaurant in Tunbridge Wells
Thoroughly enjoyed The Warren. Treated beautifully by the staff and food was wonderful. The restaurant is special.
Had an amazing evening at The Warren . The food and service was wonderful and we loved sitting in the beautiful thrones !
Food was average, menu doesn't tally with what's on the website and they only had a selection of 4 dessert, two of them which is made out of alcohol. I am 26 weeks pregnant so alcohol dessert wasnt something i wanted. Overpriced. Staff was friendly though
We had an lovely lunch at the Warren on Halloween, it wasn't booked for an occasion but it is definitely an occasion venue and we will definitely return once we are able!
Staff were attentive without being invasive, service was prompt and efficient.
The food was delicious, and portion sizes more generous than I might have expected, so much so that I was disappointed to not have room for a dessert! This was not helped by the fresh warm bread and butter served on arrival which we couldn't help but finish!
We also had a very nice glass of champagne and glass of red with our meals.
Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a casual lunch as we had
It was a superb experience, with friendly welcoming staff and great food. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing food and staff, will definitely be going back when able!
Exceptional food with attentive and accommodating staff. Friendly and able to adapt menu for wheat and nut allergies. Excellent English wines on menu.
Lovely staff and great food - only haven't given 5 stars as there was a long wait at the end and we had to ask for the bill twice. Would not stop us going back!
I just didn’t think the food was as good a quality as I thought it would be. A bit disappointed really, was expecting more
Having lived in Tunbridge Wells for a while this place was recommended to us to go after our wedding. We had a lovely time, excellent service and it was made really special for us! The noise level was higher than we would normally like but the quality of the food and the service made up for this in our opinion! We shall definitely return, thank you!
We called in at The Warren for a light lunch. I think we rather missed the point by doing this: the place is clearly geared up to provide a no-holds-barred gourmet blow-out rather than a quick midday pit-stop. Both our waitstaff were French, and the evident French touches on the menu made us wonder whether they were a husband-and-wife team running an outre-Manche outpost of French gastronomy. I think we disappointed them by failing to order starters or desserts (or wine!): it wasn't quite service with a scowl, but we felt more tolerated than welcomed, in quite an authentically French way. Our main courses were good without being outstanding, but our eating experience was embellished with a few memorably eccentric touches of Gallic weirdness. A sliced baguette fresh from the oven was presented with a theatrical flourish, four small shot glasses of tepid vichyssoise then appeared as an amuse-bouche, and the petit fours that came gratis with our coffees were chewy blue macarons and curried chocolate fudge (yes, really). This onslaught of gastronomic randomness is probably as close we'll get to actually being in France during the Plague Year of 2020.
It's clearly a popular place, and it was quite full by the time we left at 1.30, with a pleasant low hubbub filling the light and roomy interior. Our lunch for four tipped the scales just north of £100. Not cheap, but we'd still be curious to return for a more leisurely and considered evening meal to enjoy the full French experience at greater depth.
Lovely evening spent for special celebration. Well looked after and food delicious. Accommodating and thoughtful staff
Fantastic food, a quirky but cosy interior and great service! The sort of place I am very happy to support.
Warm and friendly welcome excellent food and great atmosphere. Very attentive staff provided a perfect evening. Thank you
We were promised 25% discount but did not receive it?
A wonderful experience - first time at The Warren - I will be back.
Had a meal for a special occasion and it was great from start to finish, dishes were satisfying and interesting. A fairly expensive meal for 5 but worth the quality and high level of service.
Excellent although adjacent diners a tad loud. First rate service and food.
For us it's not difficult to rate the Warren. It's our favourite restaurant but one we go to on special occasions. That way a treat remains a treat, and yes our visit last Friday because of a birthday was such a treat. How much does one have to sing praise on ever great food, excellent wine, the warm welcome and .....care!. The latter is rather a find in the market nowadays but the Warren masters this commodity to a high degree. We shall have to find a few more special occasions soon as our last visit already calls for more.....
The lovely Magdalena and her wonderful team looked after us very well. We had a delicious, relaxing Sunday lunch as we had expected as the standard of this great restaurant is consistently good. We'll be back!
My wife and I had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Warren. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and the service was excellent.
We will be definitely going back
Went for our 3rd year wedding anniversary and was everything we could hope for. The food was amazng, the service brilliant and the atmosphere perfect. It is a little on the pricey side but we knew that it would be because of everything mentioned. Would highly recommend.
Overcrowded restaurant, not enough
social distancing between tables. We got hassled to the point of rudeness to place the orders. Very very poor quality of food, espcially for the prices! I think they had too many tables to serve within a small window of time.
Lovely staff and very clean though.
Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Food was excellent, as always; never dissapoints. My favourite place in TW.
Amazing food amazing staff. Always such a brilliant time here
very pleasant evening food delicious, serving in difficult times worth COVID restrictions
Lovely food, great place. Book a table, you won't be disappointed.
Good quality food with intriguing menu. Excellent service.
Fantastic meal with attentive and welcoming staff. Beautiful setting and great English wine. Could not ask for better!
Service, food and flavour ! Just bravo !!
The food was fabulous! Exquisite!! and staff at the Warren were delightful. We had a fab time and will return!!!
Very good, well looked after by knowledgeable staff. Great for a special occasion.
So disappointing after reading some good reviews it’s difficult to believe it’s the same restaurant. A couple of friends were treating my wife and I for our anniversary and we’d been looking forward to the visit. Our table was booked for 8:30. On arrival our table wasn’t ready and we were put in the bar. We immediately noticed the lack of social distancing. We were eventually taken to our table just after 9. I thought it unprofessional when the waiter questioned my wife’s request to have her fillet steak done medium. We had starters two of which were ok the tagine was poorly presented.
We then waited for 90 minutes for our main courses all steaks which were very badly cooked, charred on the outside and very pink on the inside and again poorly presented. The staff were all very polite and apologetic but it was too late. They took the main courses off the bill but of course we’d rather have paid and had good service and food. Needles to say we won’t return.
Great place, lovely friendly staff, really enjoyed all our 3 courses would definitely re book if in the area.
Enthusiastic and quick service. Medium rare steak slightly dry. Choose food carefully and ask very helpful staff about each dish. One of us wishes she had chosen differently and asked. Very noisy for a slightly deaf person. Otherwise a very enjoyable meal!
First class service, great food excellently presented and all reasonably priced. Our first visit but undoubtedly not our last.
Delicious food, although large portions! Lovely staff.
Great meal, service was rather slow but given the current climate and the additional workload on cleaning this is understandable.
This is our go to restaurant and have never had a bad meal.
Terrible evening. Table booked for 8.30, food didn't arrive until after 10pm and the quality was less than desirable. Particularly disappointing that this was to celebrate my friends 50th birthday - we certainly won't forget it, but for all the wrong reasons. We won't be back.
