Good food and service, ,but thought it was a bit expensive for location.

We always enjoy our visits to the ~Waterside. The food never disappoints and the setting is perfect as I enjoy taking my dog with me! The owners are very friendly and the service is swift. Well worth a visit as great value for money.

Great coffee. Lovely location by the river. Choice of inside or outside seating - we chose outside. Easy to book using Open Table and also easy to access menu using code given to us. Will definitely return to eat.

They were almost empty, but sat us in a corner near the waitstaff’s station. We had to watch them fold napkins and listen to their chat throughout our meal. I’d hear good things about the food, but it was only ok.

Ideal opportunity for us to check it out- cycled from B'ple (don't really like the 'corporate' Heanton Court (or whatever it's now called), having booked on-line. Very efficient: the menu via QR code!! Friendly, very tasty - will definitely go again.

Unable to comment on the food as we didn't even end up ordering despite being there for 40 minutes. When i pointed out to a staff member how long we were waiting for our menu and table to be cleared she was rude and unapologetic. They dont seem to be able to cope with the number of bookings they take unfortunately.

An amazing spot; booking and ordering really well organised and all online/phone based.

Social distancing measure well laid out, most customers adhered to them.

We’ve been here a few times whenever we come to Braunton. The food is always excellent and we enjoy the views out over the estuary.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the waterside. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

Limited menu, but it meant I chose something I wouldn’t have usually, and it was delicious! Complimentary cannoli as we were on a date was a lovely touch!

The Watersides food was lovely and the surroundings are just as good, it’s a shame that one of the waitresses was very rude and we had to wait 25 minutes to be served, people were getting served before us even though we arrived first. It took 45 minutes to order our food and receive it. Just glad to dog was there to keep us company.

There was a mix up with the order. Believe the person who served us maybe had a problem understanding what we were saying.

Delicious salad and coffee. Well organised response to current situation while keeping relaxed feel.

Waterside offered a safe clean and efficient service. Although serving a reduced menu, the salads were excellent and superbly fresh and tasty.
The reservation system was easy to use and enabled us to be certain of a space when we got there.
We will definitely be going back. One of our favourite cafes.

Perfect Cafe with a view!
Located a stones throw from the Tarka Trail. Fabulous location being on the edge of the estuary/tidal river
The cafe is beautifully decorated with many outside picnic tables.
We sat outside on the edge of the river/estuary. The tide was half out so enjoyed seeing many birds, regrets, oyster ducks etc.
The surroundings are incredibly quite, a little gem!
Food lovely, staff helpful.
Being local we are regulars!

After checking in and parking our cycles, we almost forgot about the virus and strict regulations. Lovely position right by the estuary, swallows swooping over the water. Excellent coffee, super relaxing. Will definitely be back.
