The Waterside Bistro is a family owned restaurant sat on the lovely setting of the banks of the river Tyne. The bistro combines the cosy atmosphere of a local pub with the comfort and cuisine of a great restaurant. The menu is focused on local ingredients and really has something for everyone. This is no ordinary bistro food - think ballotine of chicken stuffed with black pudding, or grilled hake, mussel and white bean stew. There are plenty of vegetarian options too! You’re sure to love the inside decor, but for something truly special, book a table in summer so you can sit at the tables outside and look over the spectacular setting of the river Tyne.
