Cannot fault the team at the weeping willow.. Gastro/fine dining under a tepee.. book now for the summer cos they are going to be full all year...
Great Gastro/Fine dining under a tepee served by awesome people..what's not to like...
The tipi and the whole set up was gorgeous. Delicious food and excellent service. The kids enjoyed the garden as well. Overall fantastic.
An unreal Christmas Eve meal which was just perfect.
We were sat at a high table and it felt cozy, warm, safe and was beautiful opposite the fire place.
Staff were amazing and food incredible. Can’t wait to return!
Lovely as usual. Restaurant was a bit cold needed to keep light jacket on. Few things already sold out at 7pm.
Great Customer Service ! Friendly Staff and Awesome Atmosphere!
If your are local you will know.. if you are not its worth the drive.. if you want to impress then weeping willow is a great place to start.. if you want quality then the weeping willow is ground zero. Cannot praise the Weeping Willow enough...
Excellent food and the staff were first class. Highly recommended
RAF Lakenheath Base bar staffs Christmas Dinner
Very lovely place/set up and good food, especially since they are having to cope with covid restrictions. My only grumble is that it was cold in the restaurant, especially since every time the door opened for the staff to take the food outside it became really chilly. I will definitely return and would recommend though. Thank you
Absolutely amazing lunch!! Would go back anytime...amazing!! 😊
The weeping willow, as always was a magical experience. Beautiful environment, delicious food and professional, kind, happy staff. It felt very festive, safe and secure, was a pleasure to be out for dinner once again!
Can’t recommend highly enough!
The festive prosecco was divine !
Great meal! Fantastic setting.
Unhurried service let us relax and enjoy a wonderful pre Christmas lunch.
The Scottish egg was delicious! The duck breast could of been a little more heat tempered.
The tipi is beautiful and there was a lovely atmosphere. Really pleasant and attentive staff and excellent food. Lovely to get out
Lovely food, friendly service but long wait for food.
Very good menu selection, very tasty food, some of the food could have been a bit hotter. Very friendly staff and great service. Welcomed our dog and rearranged the seating for us in a dog friendly area.
Nice teepee experience overall with good variety on the menu. Slight delay to one of the drinks arriving and also the main for the same person hence the small mark down.
Nice staff and the venue is really lovely and Christmassy.
Lovely warm welcome and friendly staff. Cosy ambience and amazing food as always.
One of my two favourite places, highly recommended
If you want truly fantastic food in a truly friendly restaurant then head to the weeping willow.
We received a warm and friendly welcome. The service was very good and the food was outstanding. The ‘posh chips’ were amazing. A nice relaxed meal , we were there for 2 hours and only had one course !! Just what you want on a Friday afternoon.
Much enjoyed our lunch with very helpful and attentive staff
Fabulous venue with great food, try the lamb, excellent service Jane
An excellent place to eat with attentive staff. We had a voucher from last Christmas and we were pleased to be able to use it at last. The food was very good and a nice choice of menu
.
We had not been out for an evening meal in such a long time due to the virus so we were looking forward to a change of scenery. The Weeping Willow certainly did not disappoint. The 3 course meal was outstanding along with the delicious well kept beer and wine. We will definitely be booking again soon.
Food was served cold so we sent it back, the plates that were replaced were missing a lot of the vegetables it should have been served with. Excessively priced for what was offered. Staff were polite though and it is a nice venue.
Shame have been to The Weeping Willow several times, service was dreadful, had one drink, starter came and then waited an hour for our main course, when called the waiter,
we where told well we have got 150 people in, no appology. Will not be hurrying back.
The service was really great and friendly unfortunately I found my main course very average
Very high standard of food with good and informal service. Good choices for all courses but not an excessive menu. Nice atmosphere too, and feels safe in the current situation. This is the second time we have eaten here and we have been impressed both times. Not cheap, but worth the money.
Great welcome and enjoyable lunch
You would not know they were closed.. opened up where they left off.. a-ma-zing. Seriously why do they not have a Michelin star already.. go eat fantastic food in a great place..
Lovely pub, felt very safe and all efforts to keep distance etc very clear.
Delicious selection of food, can recommend the seafood risotto!
Beautiful food in a beautiful setting. I will certainly be retuning.
The Weeping Willow is worth what ever it takes to get there.. best staff and best kitchen in Suffolk.. best in East Anglia.. it is not the emperors new clothes.. it is the real deal. Worth every penny.
I really enjoyed my first visit to the Weeping Willow. The atmosphere of the night before lockdown was great. I had the elderflower gin cured salmon for starter and the monkfish and scallop thai curry... the food was excellent.
Weeping Willow is only the next village to my new house, so this will be my go to entertaining restaurant. I would be happy to support when they reopen.
Modern sleek design, great food and attentive friendly staff make the weeping willow a great dine out restaurant.
Took my 93 year old mother before she has to self isolate again. Service was professional but friendly with just the correct amount of attentiveness without being pestered every 5 minutes with "is everything alright ".
Food was very tasty, well presented and good value, what more could you want?
The food was great and service really good as well.
Outstanding food and good service thanks as always
