Sunday Roast by the river - lovely experience. Friendly welcoming staff, lovely lunch.

Our first visit to the Wharf and we will definitely return. Loved the location, food was lovely as were the staff. It was amazing to eat our meal and look out onto the river.

This was our first time at the wharf inn but it won't be our last. Although we were the only customers there, we felt a welcome atmosphere. The food was good and the service excellent. It will be lovely to go on a nice sunny day, sat outside and watching the river flow by whilst eating our meal. We'll be back.

The kitchen was having issues regarding fuses blowing so the carvery was nt up and running and the food had to be plated up but this did nt impaire the quality of the meal.Presentation was lovely and plentiful And service was excellent.

The su was out so we sat outside to eat.
The staff were pleasant polite and looked after us well. We enjoyed our food so much decided to go back again next week.

My husband had the fish and chips. I would definitely recommend this meal. The fish was so fresh and beer batter just right. Not greasy or heavy.
The only thing I would add is that the staff were not wearing masks which made me uncomfortable.

Nice setting but pub looks unfinished and not very welcoming

It was a quiet eveni.g. Initially the service was good. We ordered our main meal, it came in a reasonable time and was nice enough. We decided to have a dessert it took us quite awhile to get anyone's attention. We were advised the kitchen had shut and chef had gone home! The lady advised she didn't know we wanted dessert, I pointed out no asked us. It was quiet but it was not late, it would have been nice to be asked if we wanted anything else before the kitchen closed. Disappointing!

Food great, no social distance, cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Probably won’t be back

The riverside location is lovely, but on the night we went they were clearly having problems with the food and several main course items were unavailable, so choice was limited. Cannot comment on starters as we didn't have one, but there was a range of desserts to suit most tastes and the quality and presentation was good. The serving staff on the night we went appeared to have been brought in from another pub and consequently service seemed a bit haphazard, although very polite and friendly.

Good food and has had a complete refurb, good friendly service, when we was there it was noisey due to little kids screaming otherwise excellent experience

Excellent food and service, it was lovely to sit by the river, nice new tables to sit by, all good except there were a lot of people smoking, there ought to be a seperate area for them, overall very good

Lovely decor, pleasant staff, lovely sitting by the river.

Lovely riverside pub, food is nice. We had a mixture of carvey and baguettes.
