I booked a table at The White Horse for a family meal before Christmas.The pub is situated in a lovely area and looks very welcoming on entering the carpark.
On entering the pub all the Covid safety measures were in place.These included clear signs about masks and social distancing measures as well as hand sanitiser in various areas around the pub.
We received a lovely welcome on entering the bar and was promptly shown to our table.The service was friendly and very efficient.
The staff gave us a nice gap between courses(which was nice) but were always available if we needed anything.The food was excellent.
There were a nice choice of meals on the menu.
We had three courses each and all the food was freshly cooked.
My party thoroughly enjoyed each of our courses.The service was excellent.
We would all recommend this pub.It had a nice ambience and excellent food.Thank you.
We will be back.

As a family, we are always looking for new places to go. This had caught our eye when passing. The menu wasn't extensive but sometimes thats a bonus, as easier to choose a meal.
Calamari and pate was lovely. The children's starter of chicken bites didn't go down too well. Mine are aged 6 and 8. It is homecooked but the batter had quite afew herbs/spices in which the children were not keen on/used too.
My braised beef was well cooked. My partners fish and chips were quite greasy. The childrens mains were good too.

We will not hesitate to return. Absolutely fantastic place to be. The food was outstanding, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere was lovely. We felt really safe the entire time and the facilities were very well kept.

A very enjoyable lunch at The White Horse at Tilbrook. The Service, Food and Value were absolutely excellent with a n interesting and varied menu. Only the general ambience a bit lacking as the restaurant is in a glassy conservatory extension and the weather outside very miserable - no fault, of course, of The White Horse!
Would definitely recommend and will return.

Easy on line booking. Made welcome on arrival and shown to socially distanced table. All service done in Covid Secure manner and food was served promptly and nicely cooked.

Lovely waitress and service. Nice food and well presented but as Robbie said you couldn't just buy fish and chips. Had to have a battered sausage with it. And because of limited menu only rump steaks available. When I treat myself to a steak I want a fillet, rib-eye or sirloin. I only use rump for casseroles. Just my preference but suspect others will concur.

Lovely pub, waiter and waitress were fantastic, sorry I forgot names. Only slight niggle the food was a bit oilly for.me, but that's a taste thing not a complaint. Very good value, 2 very happy customers. Will definitely be back in the Spring/Summer the garden looks great. May try and get back for the rib night as well. Thanks for a great evening in these weird times

Covid safe but still a great atmosphere, great service and lovely food.

This is the second time I’ve visited and it was even better than the first. The food was fantastic and our waitress was lovely. Really couldn’t ask for anything else.

The food was acceptable, however having looked at their menu on the `Open Table' website prior to visiting, it does suggest the menu available on the day was changed ( presumably due to Covid-19). Sadly some prices appear to have been inflated, presumably to offset the 25% on offer. Take fish and chips - Open Table menu price £ 11.50 or the expectation nett price of £ 8.63. The menu presented on the day was fish and chips including a sausage!! offered at £14.00 less 25% = £ 10.50. Who wants a sausage with fish and chips, tartare sauce etc? It suggests to me a policy to grab back the discount.

At the moment until the end of October Wednesday to Fridays they are offering 25% off food. So we made use of the offer and there was a nice variety on the menu and it was really good home cooked food. Also had no complaints with how they were managing the social distancing.

Lovely meal with my family.
Covid secure, felt very at ease to relax and enjoy a superb meal with a bonus 25% off food.
Will go again!
