Located on Regent Street, The Wigmore is set to become a new social institution with a touch of London polish and a place where everyone is welcome.
This Great British pub serves a carefully created drinks list from the team behind Artesian, including great wines, cask ales and craft beers including The Wigmore’s very own house “Saison”, brewed in partnership with Bermondsey’s “Brew by Numbers”.
The food menu overseen by Michel Roux Jr defines quintessential British pub fare.
Had a fabulous Saturday night here last week. We planned to visit for a few hours and ended up staying all evening. Fabian was a fantastic host. We will be back!
An up-market pub offering a rather small assortment of food but a great selection of alcohol. The eating area is not conducive to a long, romantic meal but has comfortable seating and very friendly staff. There are a good selection of starters/snacks but only a handful of mains and puddings. Prices are reasonable and reservations (particularly during "peak") are recommended otherwise try your luck at dropping in...they can probably fit you in at the ever-busy bar area.
Excellent food at fair prices. Good service and a wide selection of drinks that are looked after and served perfectly. Nice setting and good vibe about the place. Staff very attentive and quick. Would definetly go back.
We very much enjoyed a quick date night dinner at the Wigmore. Service was very friendly and the backroom has a nice atmosphere. The food menu is small, but with good coverage to appeal to different tastes and moods. The snacks made lovely starters to share, particularly the crab crumpets and the masala scotch egg. I had the steak for my main which was perfectly cooked, and so I will definitely return when I am back in that part of town.
Friendly attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere. We both ordered the beef pie with creamed mash which was really tasty! Plenty of meat , cooked perfectly in a rich sauce. We were also impressed with the selection of drinks offered on the menu. Great value for money, when you consider its location in Central London. We will definitely return.
we really enjoyed our evening at the Wigmore. Staff were attentive and helpful. The food was good and value for money. I'll be going again
Relaxed atmosphere great service well priced and interesting food.
We had a great night, The food was absolutely lovely & the quiz night was an added bonus, look forward to coming back
Love it here, this could well become a 'staple' for lunches.
Our staters were good specially the scotch eggs and Dahl.
All of us had the Moroccan lamb pie which was a bIt disappointing. Somehow a spicy filling didn’t seem to compliment a traditional pie.
We were a group of 50 somethings and the pub area was a little too noisy for our liking. However, the dining area was quieter , cosy and comfortable.
Service was very friendly and attentive.
Considering the location and celebrity chef patron, prices are very reasonable and good value for money.
High class food and excellent service
We always visit here when in London....wonderful food and lovely ambience.
Relaxed atmosphere, lovely food
Everything was excellent, the food, the service, the atmosphere. Really enjoyable and relaxing lunch.
A good welcome a preferred table excellent food wine and service
The food was different when I visited, no taste at all I won’t be going back. Atmosphere and service was great.
Fantastic polite and courteous service. The food and dining experience were amazing. We cannot wait to return. Thank you.
We love keep coming back to The Wigmore. Staff are very attentive , polite , courteous and knowledgeable. Everytime we have visitors we bring them for a meal. Keep up the good work!!1
Lovely food, and a good selection of drinks. The main room is quite busy/noisy, but there are quieter rooms to the side, which is where we sat, and it was perfect. Very pleased we made the trip, and I'd definitely go again.
Centrally located, lovely pub come restaurant serving good food and a good wine selection to go with it.
Lovely looking interior. Food very tasty and excellent beer selection. Service was great - just at the right level.
The staffing were welcoming and accomodated our 2 extra guests without raising an eyebrow. Great food, well priced- a great afternoon- thank you!
I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to go to The Wigmore for ages and it didn’t disappoint
The service was wonderful and the food delicious
As always a great place to meet friends for lucky. Felt very welcome, good drink recommendations and all was lovely- food and drink
We went to The Wigmore at 13.30 on Saturday 4 May. To be honest it was about 80% empty but did begin to fill up slowly as the afternoon progresses. Service and food though were both good (cheese toastie and Burger really nice). Pork was a little dry but each of the puddings for £5 a go well worth it. All round an enjoyable 4 hours. Reasonably priced too for quality and location.
Good food and great service! Just a little noisy at times.
Excellent as always
Booking on-line was easy and problem free, and even though we turned up early, we were greeted enthusiastically and shown our table. I thought the music was going to be too loud at first, but either this was turned down or the quiet chat of other customers meant it wasn't noticeable. The service was friendly, good-humoured and efficient. It seemed as if staff enjoy working there, which helps to create a good atmosphere. Love it that Pilsner Urquell is on draught. We both loved the cod main course, and while the Black Forest dessert was good, it lacked the rich chocolateyness (and a dollop of cream) that would otherwise have earned the food 5 stars.
Visited as the opened for lunch, had their XXL cheese toastie and the scotch eggs, paired with a pint of Guinness. Excellent service, delicious food, and a reasonable price for the quality. One of the highlights of my visit to London.
Excellent service and food in a great setting
A brilliant place to eat & drink! Such a lovely environment. We felt very much looked after by staff who were extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming with impeccable decor. Most importantly, the food was absolutely devine. The Wigmore is a place I would highly recommend without hesitation!
Lovely feel and good value given the surroundings and very good (and interesting) food.
Excellent food and friendly attentive service. The only irritant was being forced by the online booking system to book a table for 12.15 rather than 12.30, for which there was no apparent reason as the restaurant was not full.
We very much enjoyed our visit and all the staff were excellent and helpful. The food was good and the prices reasonable. My only gripe? the Huge TV screen
Great place for a business lunch. I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed
Absolutely without a doubt the best Cheese Stovetop Toasties in London!
Fantastic Gin Tonica’s and attentive friendly staff, a great place to visit if you’re in Town
Slightly limited menu but good quality and good service
Very enjoyable experience will be back soon. Good choice of drinks and interesting and tasty food
