The whole lunch was lovely. We selected from the pre fixed menu. There were a lot of choices. We will be back.
Great wine, cuisine and ambiance! I’m going back again!
Excellent restaurant, food outstanding, great choices of wine.
Although I am puzzled that when I made the reservation they ask if it is for a special occasion and I answered yes “anniversary”, yet know one even mentioned or said anything about our anniversary? So why ask at all to begin with?
Service is good, but could be a little more friendly.
Delicious food and great service.
Outdoor patio seating with attentive service. We will return!
My husband and I absolutely loved The Wine House. I brought him there as a surprise to celebrate his new job. I had hoped to get an “I like this place; I would come back.” from my husband but I got so much more. The food was delicious, the flight was generous, our waitress Shannon was a sweetheart, and Kevin, the Master Sommelier, reawakened my husband’s interest in learning more about wine. We look forward to our next visit.
Best brunch in the area. Fixed price or ala carte options.
We always have a great time at Wine House. Great food, great wine, great people!
Food was excellent! Lots of wine choices to order and to buy to take home. Will definitely go again.
Great service, good was amazing and a great price combo for lunch! Was given a wonderful suggestion for wine and enjoyed ourselves all afternoon.
Beautiful intimate space allowed a wonderful time with my girls. Food was amazing! The ahi tuna appetizer was wonderful as well as the shrimp appetizer. My girl’s cod was wonderful plated and tasted amazing. And the toasted baguette with the spreads was a great treat. But the wine! My goodness! Definitely will be a regular meet up spot with the ladies!
An absolutely amazing experience! Everything is curated for the perfect wine-fueled evening. Kevin had exceptional recommendations to accompany our unique tastes and dishes. It was my first time there, and I'm looking forward to several visits in the future.
Theresa - our favorite waitress was WONDERFUL, as always! Such a NICE host for the restaurant, always cheerful and upbeat!
Food was awesome too!
Wonderful seafood, salads and charcuterie. Excellent wine selection.
Great outdoor seating.
My favorite place to go for wine and food. Great service and good people.
Our server Tyler was great. Friendly, quick, knowledgeable. It was a beautiful night, the food was perfectly done and creative, and we enjoyed that we were able to take home what little of the Bordeaux was left at the end of our meal. Ambiance only gets a 3/5 because our conversation was interrupted multiple times by outbursts from an intoxicated guest at another table. Otherwise it was pretty much perfect.
Wine Flight night is always fun and informative. The food and service are excellent as always!
We had to wait about 10 minutes past our reservation time for a table but that's not too bad for a Saturday night. Our server was excellent, knowledgeable and attentive. All our food was very good from starters to entree's to dessert.
As usual the food, wine and accommodations are excellent.
We were told that the kitchen was overwhelmed and our food would be late. But that was not an issue for me as I did not think they were late. The albarino wine seemed to have been opened a while back and was acidic.
The crostini that came with the gazpacho soup was burnt and I had to cut the burnt piece off with force and break other pieces and put it in the soup so that it would soften -- but the taste of what was on the crostini was gone. I think the crostini was made beforehand and when got to the table it was old and in poor condition and it was like a cardboard.
The filet mignon was ok, but lacked flavor. However, the quality of meat was good. The asparagus was good but a tiny bit overcooked.
The bread pudding would have been good, if the top part was not burnt.
There were limited wine selection by the glass for a place that calls itself Winehouse.
I like to think that this was a one off. But for the price they charge, it was not worth it and I could do better elsewhere.
It was a great place to meet up with friends. Staff were friendly and so helpful with wine selection and food was excellent.
This is an amazing restaurant where food and ambiance complement each other. Filet mignon was delicious, asparagus soup was to die for, and the fresh made warm banana pudding was paradise. The wine from their vast collection paired well with the food. The service was impeccable and fresh flowers on the table made us feel special. I’ll drive here from NJ next time just for this experience!
Dinah and her team made our anniversary dinner extra special. Great wine pairings and salmon filet was fantastic.
Such wonderful people! Fun (and educational) conversations about wine and impeccable service.
We really enjoyed our first dining experience. My husband didn’t love either of the two red wines he tried but my Sancerre was excellent. My asparagus soup appetizer was bland, my husband’s green salad was typical and good. My cod entree with couscous cooked in a Mediterranean style was delicious. My husband’s steak frites was very good - the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. We will definitely be back.
This was our first visit to the restaurant. It has a very nice wine-bar atmosphere and the service was excellent. On the other hand, the food was uneven. The seared tuna appetizer was very good, as was the green salad. However, the portions on the cheese and charcuterie plate were tiny and the pate was mediocre. Similarly, our entrees were inconsistent. The cod was delicious, although the bed of couscous, vegetables, olives, capers, etc. was a bit of a jumbled mess. Finally, the shrimp and grits was not good at all. It tasted like everything had been pre-cooked, assembled and warmed. In spite of that, the grits were cold and gloppy. Moreover, the andouille tasted like sliced pepperoni and the sauce was uninspired. Finally, the steak frites was ok, but the cut of the steak was not the traditional cut one sees with the dish. In sum, for the price, the food should have been much better than it was.
Hi Steven, thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are disappointed to hear about the inconsistencies with the food and we will be addressing it with our kitchen staff. As with most restaurants at the moment, we are also struggling to find ingredients that are regularly featured in our dishes. That being said, the kitchen staff do pride themselves on the preparation and consistency of the menu. We all look forward to our regular purchasing channels opening back up to normal. TWH Team
The service was very slow. There was only one cook and one waiter for the entire restaurant, so it was not the fault of the waiter — he was doing the best he could. Go if you have plenty of time … like 2 hours … for your meal.
Hi Janice, thank you for taking the time to write a review. Yes, we are short-staffed at the moment, as are all restaurants. We apologize for the slow service. Hopefully, there should be more people available to work in the restaurant industry and things will get back to normal. The Wine House Team.
Wonderful restaurant! Always great food, wine and service.
I have never been to a restaurant where service was as good as this place.
They were very friendly and the food was good!
Lovely seafood menu, delicious wines. I've been there twice, will return, and always am telling people about the food, wine, and outdoor seating. A definite place to wine and dine.
Excellent lunch experience. Food was delicious, beautiful, and interesting.
What a wonderful restaurant! Food was delicious, portions were perfect and service was very good. Wine list was very interesting and had a great variety; price point by the glass was very affordable. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely return in the near future!
The Wine House is a favorite of our family. The menu is large and varied, the food is consistently good, and the service is great.
Go for the Wine, stay for the food. Especially the rack of lamb.
The patio is the best! Such a nice atmosphere. Food here is always good, nice range of choices. Wine is very good.
First visit there and ate outside. Beautiful evening, excellent bottle of wine (Poppy cab), food was excellent and the staff friendly, knowledgeable and professional, service excellent as well.
Great as usual but so cold inside. Brrrrr
We have dined at The Wine House many times since it opened. They always do a nice job on all of their dishes, most of which we have tried. Their wine offerings are varied and reasonably priced. Parking is very convenient and free. Highly recommended.
Great food! Perfect setting. Wish they did flights of wine to taste, but otherwise this is a perfect place for date nights!! The staff is absolutely lovely - welcoming and friendly.
