Food was great service was excellent highly recommend, defo be going back
Had a lovely time at the Woodmans, the food was delightful! The Camembert starter is a real winner 👍
Excellent food and service as always. Good choice of food for all appetites which was very much to our liking as we had one large meal, one medium sized and one light.
Lovely food staff all helpful and pleasant will be back again
Always nice quality good cooked to perfection! Great service
The best last minute decision to go for lunch. From start to finish staff were impeccable. My husband had tempura prawns to start and said best he has ever had. I had boa buns, fabulous.
And I can see why the pie is ‘award winning’.
Thank you all at the Woodman’s Arms
Will definitely be back
Good fast service
Would recommend to family and friends
Very overpriced for basic food. For 2 adults and 2 children to have a meal it came to £100! The food was fine but certainly not worth the money.
Lots of items missing from the menu. Kids meals very overpriced!
Lovely Sunday dinner, food arrived quickly and service was friendly and efficient especially for a busy fathers day.
We used to love visiting here but feel the food quality and service has really gone down hill which is such a shame
Amazing food and service. Would definitely recommend
Bland vegetables, chewy almost inedible beef and Yorkshire pudding that was crisp all over.
Food bland and not worth the money was disappointing. Service was good though polite and friendly.
Family Fathers Day mean. Food was amazing & the place itself is beautiful. It was our first time after many recommendations from friends. Great service from lovely staff & an all round lush time.
Dinners werent very nice was lovely last time but they were tasteless and Yorkshires very greasy.
We had a lovely meal for father's day, absolutely beautiful food and amazing service. Can't wait to go back.
Food was lovely as always. Didn't feel rushed to leave our table even though it was Fathers Day and busy
Such a good atmosphere and the staff where amazing so nice and friendly! Food was so delicious and really well priced! Will be coming back very soon.
Staff were really helpful, the place is lovely as well as the food and drinks! Really recommend
Amazing as always! Staff are lovely food is always great they allow dogs which great!!
Great Food and Nice Atmosphere, with fast service.
Food was delicious and enjoyed by all. Service was a touch slow but was worth the wait!
Really great food, good service and good atmosphere.
Brilliant staff and amazing food will definitely be coming back
Lovely dinner with friends.
Beautiful surroundings and very covid safe. Would highly recommend the steak pie.
The quality of the rump steak one of our party had was unfortunately disappointing but everything else was lovely. Would definitely go back but wouldn't order another steak.
Fries were under cooked and chicken was burnt. Chef also forgot to put dressing on our burger and the wait for good was very long. I was disappointed as my previous visit was amazing but food was very poor this time
Service was shocking... Table of 4 of us went, 3 of us got half our food (still waiting sides).... 4th meal came with sides 15 minutes later. Food was not as nice as usual.
Ordered deserts, came out half an hour later.... table service and drink service was so slow!
Table was booked for 8 - didn't leave until 11, only had 2 courses.
The food was absolutely fantastic. Very very good quality and generous portions.
Food service was a little slow but to be expected when the tables were full.
Staff were very polite and attentive.
We were sat outside which was pleasant but noticed there was a lack of cushions for the benches (we nabbed a few from other benches), this is small gripe and easily rectified and didn’t spoil the experience.
I can recommend the tempura squid starter, the best I’ve had in a long long time and the steak, leek and ale pie which is huge and delicious. Others had the fish and chips which were generous, the burgers and duck leg. All went down well.
Absolutely excellent, the steak pie was one of the best pies I have ever had. Highly recommended and my family and I will certainly be returning.
Good service. Forgot chips but brought out as soon as asked. Bread was quite burnt. We were seated in a very dark area. All flower decorations were a bit much. Food tasted good.
Such a lovely place! Nice homely feel too it and the food was delightful!
We waited quite a while at the door no-one said the waitress was coming good evening or anything. So not a great welcome. Food was lovely. Except desert for Eaton Mess no fruit or compot. So that basically was just ice cream and cream. I asked for plain 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream and cream but was only 1 scoop.
If we came again we would not have the desert.
Great food, excellent service.
Lovely ambience but a tad noisy.
Some things on menu not available so only reason marked down.
Great atmosphere, great service and great food. We will be back.
We enjoyed our visit but would highlight a few shortcomings in our overall experience. The food delivered to our table was wrong and had to be returned. We waited an additional 10-15 minutes for the correct order to come to our table. The majority of french fries on my serving were 'scraps' from the bottom of the bag and they were NOT spicy as described on the menu. We also received the wrong bill and had to exchange with the table next to us who received our bill at the same time. Attention to detail therefore needs to be addressed across the teams.
Fantastic night! Staff were great and made the night very special
We were sat underneath a speaker and had to ask for the sounds to be lowered as we were meeting friends and it was too noisy to chat. The staff member did this promptly. There was alcohol free beer on offer which was a big positive. The menu had a great choice but was a bit on the expensive side for what was pub food. It was good but not great and I’m not sure we would be rushing back.
Food was delicious. Staff were very good. Love the way its been decorated.
Fabulous! Quiet little nook in the bar. Amazing bao buns and tempura prawns washed down with a gorgeous rose.
