    We waited a few minutes to be seated but the staff were so lovely and we weren't in a hurry! The restaurant was busy so a good lively atmosphere! Menu was lovely (a tad overpriced I felt) my starter was £14+ for scallops (they were gorgeous) but 3 scallops on a trail off butternut squash puree with some crispy pieces of prosciutto on top was a bit expensive! Hubby had haggis balls again were lovely and the sauce was very moreish they were £9+ we then had our mains, hubby haddock and chips and I had the rump of lamb both dishes were lovely and tasty, everything homemade (which is always good)! Staff very attentive, service was good, a few nice wee touches which I commented on to the waiter! All in all we had a really nice evening!

    I had the Lamb which was amazing, husband had the chicken. The crème brûlée was fantastic, cheesecake was ok. Server was lovely and accommodating. Will definitely be back. They also had alcohol free beer in draft which is a rare treat!

    The lamb dish and burger were very good. The scotch was amazing. Was worth the drive to eat there.

    Couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful! Just when I thought the cynic in me was taking over - believing nobody really cared! Food was also excellent - well thought out and executed. I will be back…..

    The only place for dinner in Doune. Very nice but you should book. Prices similar to others in Scotland, good and very pleasant service. Good choices on the menu.
