You were so brilliant guys! Thank you so much! We had a fantastic Saturday night with a great food, drinks and in a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you and we will be definitely back :-)
We came to the bush hotel for my birthday dinner, we waited over half an hour for anyone to come and take our drink order and that was only after we waved the waiter over. The tapas menu was small and very over priced, £8.50 for a small bowl of olives????!
The only vegetarian/vegan main meal was a vegan jackfruit burger which seemed under cooked. We booked under the impression the marquee was heated but it wasn’t, overall we are very disappointed with our visit
We went for drinks so can’t comment on the food but it looked nice from what I saw on other tables! Good atmosphere, drinks on the pricey side but not surprising considering it’s Farnham. Would go again & will try the food next time.
For the small number of people, the service was unbelievably slow. Just to pay, we had to ask 5 different people for the bill before finally walking up to the bar to pay as we had been waiting 45 mins just to pay.
Also the cost of drinks was horrendous - £17 for a G&T?!!!
It is a nice setting and atmosphere but the service needs sorting and the price of drinks need re-thinking.
Really lovely to while away a couple of hours here .. Just what Farnham needed!
We were warmly welcomed by Scottish lady upon arrival. Shown to our seats , COVID rules explained clearly. Menus and drinks offered straight away. Enough tables occupied to create atmosphere but no noise to bother us.
We had TAPAS menu which was very tasty and nice bottle of reasonably priced NZ Sauvignon Blanc.
Service was spot on
Definitely recommend this for nice al fresco lunch
The food quality was great but at £8.50 for three small chunks of chicken I felt it was extremely expensive. The blush pinot was lovely
The bar area was set up beautifully and was a nice place to be.
The poor waiter needs some training, we had to ask to order, he tried to clear while we were still eating, we had to wave for the bill and then he took the card with no copy of a bill to even check.
Just a lunch time meal and drinks
The burger wasn’t too good it crumbled into pieces. When it came to the bill we weren’t given a print out and they tried to over charge us by £10.
Looked fantastic what they have done with it , good vibe
Well organised, friendly service
Glad we were able to get out & meet, but as 2 tables of 5 our group were seated at 2 tables in line with a tree between, rather than side by side, so conversation was limited to 5 people. I understand we needed to have 2m. between tables, but it would have been nice to be grouped together more! The area needs more heating and/or blankets! Because of the necessary open sides, and the tunnel effect of the entrance & passageway to the side of the marquee, it got very cold in the evening. It was good that we were a group with lots to catch up on, as the service was rather slow at times. Food good, but tapas overpriced for the quantity & the rest of the menu was very limited. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had a great evening, thanks, but some improvements would make it amazing.
Decided to try the Bush on its reopening night. They have created a tented area in their courtyard so we were very sheltered on what turned out to be a very cold night when the open fires were welcome. Generally a very welcoming atmosphere created by the new management. Food was excellent, we started with tapas then all had burgers with top quality chips ! Good selection of wines and the bitter was splendid. Will definitely return.
I had an evening meal with my daughter to celebrate her graduation. Lovely vibe to the restaurant and a cosy ambient feel at the bar sitting next to the open fire. The Covid protection measures were very thorough without feeling oppressive. Excellent food - in particular the fish which was delicious. I can’t recommend it more highly. It’s great to have a new place to go in Farnham this Winter to enjoy good food whilst feeling safe and cosy. We will come again! Thank you
Thank you so much for choosing 37@The Bush to celebrate with your daughter; please pass on our congratulations on her graduation. I must admit our Chef's fish specials are proving quite the winner so thanks for the great feedback. I hope it's not too long before we welcome you back to try some more of his tasty menu Annmarie
We had a great time - a lovely G&T by a roaring fire in the beautifully decorated lounge before dinner and then a delicious meal in @37. The service was attentive, food was delicious (goats cheese, fish & chips and the pie were highlights) and we had a lovely glass of red as recommended by the waiter. We will be back!
Hi Laura Thanks so much for leaving such a wonderful review of 37@TheBush We can't wait to welcome you back Annmarie
