A warm welcome awaits you at the Maltings Coffee Shop.

Annandale's former malting floor has been lovingly restored and converted into a cozy retreat, complete with handcrafted furniture by local craftsman Ian Cameron Smith. Dogs are welcome (though we regret they can't accompany their humans on tours).

We serve the best Scottish food, wine, Scottish and local craft beers, and ciders and as you may imagine, we boast an extensive whisky selection.

Due to government advice and social distancing guidelines our offering and service style has been adapted to keep you safe and comfortable.

Please bring your face mask and wear it while moving around our distillery.

If your social bubble is larger than 12 people please ring the distillery directly and we will help make arrangements for you to join us.

    Visited with friends for lunch, the service was great with very friendly staff. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. Our third visit and it won't be the last.

    Lovely cafe in former malting building. Very tastefully and sympathetically repurposed with comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Service very good. Food reasonably priced.

    Was very busy and the staff were struggling to keep up. Menu could do with an overhaul. Ended up with a ham and cheese sandwich, could have made it at home, lemon tart was delicious though

    Interesting tasty lunches with the option for a whisky ( or a wine or beer) in the beautiful Whisky themed cafe. The sausage roll of the day ( pork and black pudding with whisky) was a great hit.

    This is a quality venue. Staffed by people who clearly enjoy their work, the venue is a beautifully restored building complemented by outstanding food and exemplary standards of service. The staff clearly enjoy working at the Annandale Distillery. I cannot wait for my next visit there...... what a gem. Thankyou Annandale Distillery

    Gorgeous St James sandwich with a wonderful fresh salad. One problem, it was a long walk for my husband who has mobility issues. Also poorly sign posted. Food was great though

    Very clean and elegant looking eatery , well spaced out with some amazing looking furniture , the staff were very well presented and happy and helpful. A wee bit pricey but we couldn't fault anything at all so overall well worth a visit and booking a table was as simple as could be considering I'm not great at stuff like that. Excellent will be back for sure
