Thiptara - Palace Downtown

Très beau restaurant en terrasse en face des fontaines et du Burj Khalifa. Cuisine très raffinée. Cadre romantique. Tout était parfait. Merci.

Toller Platz um die Fontänen zu erleben. Es gibt wohl keine bessere Lokation.
Das Essen wargut, allerdings wurde man nicht darauf hingewiesen dass die Gerichte
Fleisch enthielten, was leider nicht ersichtlich war. Für Vegetarier ein no go.
Wir würden aber wieder dort essen.

Not as good as it used to be - not sure if it has changed due to pandemic but food was different and entertainer couldn’t be used.

Had a magical night at thiptara proposing to my girlfriend. The staff made it all possible and I can’t thank them enough. I will definitely be coming back again.

Lovely dining experience with incredibly good food, and a really helpful server (thank you so much Kumar) who guided us through the best menu options. Great view of the Burj Khalifa and Dancing Fountain as well! Will definitely return!

Food was fantastic, and provided with very good service. The location on the water by the fountain in front of the Burj Khalifa provides a great background.

we ordered limited food but portions were perfect (maybe green curry could have been more generous, rice was excessive) but the taste and presentation were excellent,, always a pleasure to be there when in dubai... it a "must" (we are vegetarians)

Please add Nam Tok to the menu. :-)

Restaurant has a fantastic view of the fountains and Burj Khalifa. Food is excellent. Service great. Lucky for us, things are slow right now in Dubai so the restaurant is not busy. Great selection if you want an evening of free water and light shows in gorgeous downtown Dubai!!! The Thai food is very good - stands up well to the excellent entertainment.

Great food. We ate the “chefs tasting menu”. It was all fantastic. We arrived at 630 and they sat us outside right by the water. Great view of the fountains and Burj Kalifa. I highly recommend it!

Is this the restaurant with the best view in Dubai? Amazing views of the fountains, superb food, and great service from our waiter called Jaffar. Simply fantastic. Sit on the outside pontoon deck, awesome.

Food was exceptional. They made an effort to move my table after I requested a table with a nice view of the fountains at my original booking. Bit pricey but definitely worth it for a special occasion. This place offers probably the best view of burj khilifa and the fountains (if sitting outside on deck).

Overpriced. Can walk up to the floating patio and see the fountain lights for free instead. We spent AED350 on 1 glass of wine, 1 bowl of soup, 1 chicken dim sum and 1 scoop of ice cream for dessert. I can only imagine the bill if we arrived hungry.

That said, service was excellent and food was tasty.

We really loved the fantastic views, and exceptional service at Thiptara. The food was brilliant Thai quality, although definitely on the pricey end (Green Thai curry 155DHS). We sat outside and it was stunning. The only disappointment was that I had mentioned it was for a birthday and could a cake be brought out (Happy to pay for) on the booking, but nothing was done for this on the night.

Nice place and location to see the fountain show. Food is ok, but for that kind of money you expect something special not ordinary - but still solid - thai food.

The thai food is unfortunately not really authentic, also no Thai employees working there.
Nevertheless, the food is delicious and its quality is very good. Given the unbeatable view to the fountains and the overall atmosphere makes it worth the money and is 100% recommendable

Came here as a group of 4 to watch the fountain show. Had an amazing time and great view of the fountain. The food was delicious and full of flavour. Would definitely come here again. Ordered spring rolls for starters, chicken and beef dish and Singapore noodles.

We had the sharing menu and all the food was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and the views over the fountains were excellent. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend.
