Three Birds is a Chef owned and operated restaurant located in Corning's Gaffer District on historic Market Street. We are just blocks away from the world renowned Corning Museum of Glass and just around the corner from The Rockwell Museum.

We a proud to say we have been a part of the Corning community for 14 years! We invite you to discover what the locals already know is the best kept secret in town. We welcome all those with a passion for good food, good wine, and great company!
A most enjoyable experience. Excellent food and presentation! A quality experience that one would expect in a larger metropolitan center.
Appetizers through desert the food was excellent. New to the area, third time there, consistently fantastic. Bar area can get a little loud but that just means people are relaxed and having fun.
Dover Sole was the nightly special and it was special!
Very consistent; excellent service, friendly, great cocktails, wonderful food selection, and he's improving on the desserts with the addition of a Strawberry Cobbler. Thank you for changing out the desserts.!
This was the best complete meal we have had in a very long time. Each item was amazing. The only complaint was the area was cold and we had cold air blowing on us, there were several other tables complaining. Also the noise from the bar area was very loud at times and took away from the amazing experience.
Best risotto and scallops ever. I loved the berry sauce with it
Always great steaks, delicious appetizers and desserts, super service... one of our go to faves for special events!
Everything was great we had a window seating which was wonderful we had the duck and sea bass both were excellent 👍
Food was excellent server very attentive. Over all a wonderful experience.
Our group has been meeting summers for several years at your establishment, we have never had a bad experience. We love 3 🦅🦅🦅 Thanls
Travel dining at a new restaurant
Really good food and value priced. The veal piccata was delicious and my wife’s diver scallops were also. The key lime pie was also very good. Would recommend this restaurant to anybody.
I wouldn't write off the restaurant, but service was a little slow and inattentive (water glasses not refilled, for instance). Maybe understaffed. My husband's "medium" ribeye steak came quite well done; my "medium rare" filet mignon was medium. A dessert was comped to make up for the issue. I expected better, given reviews I'd read. Nice ambiance; attractive place. I'd recommend, but not super enthusiastically.
The food was fabulous! Rack of lamb cooked perfect and arranged on the plate, the scallops, risotto and wine sauce divine! Had meatballs as a appetizer yum! Drinks full bar available, great wine and bourbon! Staff attentive, informative about the food and the place it self. Most enjoyable meal, with wine made a great rest oof our evening. Go ! Go!
Our group of 4 arrived early, 5:30 pm, and stayed until 8:30pm. Everything was 5 star! Towards the last hour, it started getting crowded and the noise level was almost unbearable. Otherwise, fabulous on all counts. Thank you.
We had been to Three Birds years ago during another visit to Corning. The food was outstanding. I had scallops and my husband had pork tenderloin. There were two different risotto with the platters, both excellent. Susie was our waitress, she was friendly and efficient. She was very helpful when we made our meal choices. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Three Birds is located on Market Street, the main locale for trendy restaurants, cute shops, bars, and Corning's two major tourist venues, the Museum of Glass and the Rockwell Museum (it is not Norman Rockwell). Three Birds is one of the more upscale restaurants. The interior is attractive, the noise level is slightly above moderate, and menu is diverse. Service was adequate but not as good as I would expect in a relatively high and restaurant. Appetizers and entrées were attractively presented and delicious, although entrées were perhaps a little small for the price. Desserts were a disappointment. The crust on the crème brûlée with soft, and the texture of the actual creme was more liquid than usual. Flavor was a little strong on the egg side. The specialty strawberry shortcake equivalent appeared to be two pieces of hardtack with about 1 1/2 strawberries and a small dollop of cream. The wine and beer list was moderately extensive, and overall the prices were appropriate for food quality and the type of venue. I would eat there again when next I visit Corning, but I think I would hit one of the ice cream places up and down the street for my dessert.
Jen was our waitress and she’s always excellent.!
The best dining one could desire; from the cocktails , appetizers, salad, entrée, dessert and wine.
Thank you 3 Birds.!
Excellent in all important regards.
Excellent from start to finish.
We came, we ate, we conquered. Until dessert. Then dessert conquered us. Please, split your dessert. They're not meant for a single person. You will go into a diabetic coma and die.
We celebrated our tenth anniversary here and were delighted with our experience. The food was well prepared and well presented. The service was excellent; prompt, informative and extremely friendly. We were both pleased our hostess at the B&B suggested Three Birds. It was perfect for our anniversary dinner.
It was a birthday celebration and they delivered. Everything was absolutely perfect! A great find in an unusual town in upstate NY. If you are in Corning visiting “Three Birds” for dinner is a must.
My wife & I enjoyed a quite anniversary dinner there. The food was outstanding, the wait staff was attentive to our needs, but not overly so, and the presentation was done beautifully.
This was our second trip to Three Birds and we were not disappointed. The food was very good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was very good.
The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was great and it was nicely and pleasantly served. The price is a great value for those occasions when you want to be sure things are done right.
Our server was excellent! We were a little slow getting started but once she took our drink order we got lots of attention and since we weren't in a hurry, the slower pace of food delivery didn't bother us. When our meals were served, they were piping hot and delicious. Also, their house martini is very good! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and the prices were very good. I would highly recommend and cannot wait to go back!
Excellent food and service! Wonderful spot in front of the window
We were seated a table of six in the back of the restaurant. It was quiet and we enjoyed conversation for the entire meal. The server was genuinely welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu.We started with oysters- delicious! All of the main courses were very good, the pork loin and chop dishes were cooked slightly more than some would like, next time we will request how we would like them done. Dessert was excellent.the only negative (minor) was the wilted flower centerpiece. We look forward to visiting again.
Service was great and all the meals were excellent.
Excellent food, and exceptional service from Sheila, our waitress. We enjoyed hummus, Brie en croute, leek and goat cheese tart, baby greens, 8 oz tenderloin, honey-crusted pork and mushroom napoleon. Everything was flavorful, fresh and well-proportioned. We didn’t try (have room for) desserts, but the dishes were all so good we didn’t miss it.
Open Table can help you at the restaurant. We were taken to what was probably the worst table in the room. I told the hostess that I had made my reservation on Open Table and wanted a better table. They gave us a window table!
Always excellent. Suzy is a great waitress and the salmon is top-drawer.
We were celebrating and dining prior to seeing a show at the Clemens Center in Elmira, NY. The reservation process was very easy and we were able to be seated immediately on our arrival. Our server was attentive and efficient and the food was excellent.
Excellent food with prompt, friendly and efficient service.
Excellent food, friendly wait staff, great place!!
It was delicious! The food, the service, the atmosphere, it was all wonderful. The restaurant is one of our favorites in Corning, NY!
We consider Three Birds as one of the few prime restaurants in the area. Always several innovative and interesting selections in addition to what you'd expect at a top-tier place - pork, veal, fowl, beef, fish, vegetarian. People are generally well-dressed, nice jeans, but no baseball hats, no t-shirts or sweatshirts. Wait staff very attentive, professional, and engaging. Bartender knows how to craft traditional cocktails in addition to pouring wine and drawing drafts. You can usually score a parking space on Market St., or in the parking lot in the rear and enter through the back door - very convenient for those "in the know". Expect to spend $100+ for two with drinks, coffee, and dessert, but to be expected in a place of this caliber.
Seating was a little bit close to the neighboring tables but not unbearable. Food was excellent.
