Secondly, the food is outstanding, we offer a varied lunch menu including freshly prepared light bites as well as 2 or 3 course options for those that enjoy a long lunch. In the evening we continue our long lunch menu offering a varied and scrumptious three course menu.
Thirdly, our friendly staff will endeavour to accommodate your needs where ever possible.
We open 7 days a week throughout the year(excluding christmas eve, christmas day, boxing day and new years day), for anything from a cup of coffee and slice of cake to a romantic dinner for 2 or a meal for 40!

We always enjoy eating at Three Lakes. Food, ambience and price is excellent and Alex is very pleasant and helpful.
Regret we were not impressed. Very noisy. We requested a table in a quieter area by the windows and were told they were not available. One of the other tables was still vacant when we left.
My fish was soft mushy and not very pleasant. The gravy on the roast beef was thick and looked unpleasant. We were not asked if we wanted the beef rare or well done. It turned out to be very well done.
The tables were too close together although ours was not too bad.
No good beer on draught.
Altogether very disappointing.
Excellent and timely service. Delicious food. Plenty of choice and nice size portions.
Nice restaurant with a great view. We had a late lunch. Food was really good, not big portions and some dishes served with just a green vegetable selection. The sticky toffee pudding delicious!
Good overall though not sure the score will reflect. Food was good, well seasoned and portioned service was good but got slower as the meal day worn on (we were perhaps the last of the lunch time eaters) two adult main meals, two kids meals, 3 soft drinks and 1 large glass of wine, 2 deserts and 2 coffees. I’d expect to pay around 60 maybe 70. Bill including service came to nearer 90 needless to say that’s quite a lot for a small family outing at least more than I’d anticipated. Ah well for around the 50/60 mark they get a repeat customer, a little too expensive for what it was, nice but pricey.
Fantastic cream tea. 2 huge fruit scones, plenty of cream and jam and a nice pot of tea. Overall excellent.
We would recommend if not a special occasion. It was our anniversary lunch and the place was rather shabby re decor and the food was average for the price.
Had a really lovely Christmas lunch and dessert here with friends. Service was great, couldn’t fault it.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience with beautiful views and plenty of parking nearby. The staff were efficient and very polite. Thank you!
Dull overcast day, but outlook is nice, staff were attentive, food freshly prepared and hot. Overall a pleasant experience
From arrival we found the staff very welcoming. Our table was ready even though we were slightly early. Service was wonderful and we couldn’t fault the quality of the food. The whole experience was very enjoyable and we will definitely visit again.
The food was incredible and the service was also excellent.
The restaurant itself is very basic and the layout of the tables is a little tight leaving not much room for movement.
The noise level was high due to being a little cramped and the high proportion of families and children dining but this is the kind of place that is ideal for children and families.
All in all, beautiful venue overlooking the lakes with great staff and service and fantastic food.
Food is always lovely, view is stunning, just a sham there was a noisy toddler banging his cup on the table.
It was ok we was a bit close to the table behind there wasn’t room to get in or out, my husband had to bang his chair together before sitting as the leg had come away from the main body, but overall a pleasent lunch
Always fantastic food and service. Cannot fault the food or staff in anyway.
Service was excellent as im lactose free and staff were really helpful in food guide
Family Sunday meal. Very accommodating and great food and service.
Food is always great and the service is good. What I dont agree with is that they have started adding 10% to the bill as a service charge which, if you are a large table is fine, but we were 2 people, there were only 4 other people dining and in between serving us, the waitresses were discussing their boyfriends!! We didnt pay it in full as its cheeky!
We enjoyed a lovely family meal to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday. From booking to the end of the meal, the staff were helpful and polite. The food was delicious as always. A very enjoyable evening!
The food was excellent and the staff very pleasant and attentive. We love the views to this place, the interior needs some warmth; maybe some homely touches ? But is clean and sufficient. I am just being picky.
Had lovely afternoon tea for a birthday , we was looked after and the food was so tasty. It's our second visit and will be coming back for a third visit. Beautiful grounds to walk around too
We booked a table online, when we arrived we was shown to a table that looked as though it was placed last min in front of the fire exit. The 3 lakes are known for their views and unfortunately it felt like we was just plonked in the corner and forgotten about.
The food was amazing, my partner and I both had roasts but I don’t know if it was because we was on this odd added table that we was sort of forgotten about so the service wasn’t great. In the end we went to the bar and paid our bill. We would def return but would ask not to be placed out of the way in front on a fire exit
Excellent food, great service with good value. We have never had bad food or service here in 5 years.
Went for breakfast. Everyone wanted something changed or done to their food ether something swopped or how it was cooked. Waiter got it all correct for six people. Good food
The table was booked to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We arrived to be greeted by a charming waitress who showed us to our table. It was in what I can only describe as a corridor and poorly lit! Very near to us was the door to the toilets which loudly creaked every time anyone used the facilities. Nothing on the table except a knapkin and knives and forks.
Food was reasonable but have tasted better!!
Evening was spoilt by loud table of four - no other customers!!
We were offered a dessert menu but as this point decided we could do better and home.
Have used the restaurant for lunch some years ago and was not unhappy on that occasion.
We had booked a table inside but as the the table was really dusty so we had to ask someone to clean it. After quite a long wait the waitress came over to ask what we wanted to drink and gave us the menu. She then went off for ages to stand in a position in the sun in between serving table. I had to go up to her to tell her we were ready to place our order and even then we had to wait a while before she left her sun spot. After a while she returned to take our order again in writing as she said the tablet was playing up and then literally as she left our table our order arrived so obviously there was nothing wrong with the tablet, she probably couldn't see it properly in the sun spot. We did say to the boys that delivered our food to make sure we don't get the order twice. All the food was fine, as always. When we left, our husband's paid the bill at the bar. When we walked out the lady that took the payment ran after is saying so sorry we've over charged you but she said it was slightly, so we said that's ok. But when my friend that we went with checked the bill when she got home, and she said they overcharged a lot. This is very disappointing as I come to the three lakes very regularly and this makes me think twice before coming again. I look forward to hearing what you think of this situation.
Perfect setting , wonderful staff, petfect food, thoroughly reccomend Three Lakes.
Window seat always the best, good service, staff attentive, food came quickly and was hot. After lunch we sat out on the patio where they served our coffees. An enjoyable experience.
All good but the drinks bar lacked experience.
Ordered 2 G&T’s and asked for bottles of tonic to make sure the tap mix tonic wasn’t used. We ordered monkey 47 so not cheap gin as we like to taste it.
Unfortunately the drinks were brought to us with the whole bottle of tonic pored into the gin. So we couldn’t identify the gin and it was overpowered by the tonic. We only use half a bottle of tonic and save the rest for another gin. Also the glasses were just normal straight water or coke ones, not a nice bowl shape.
Otherwise a good experience!
Lovely place views are amazing, great food great service food was fast also!
First time visit and impressed by standard of food and service. Will definitely visit again.
Absolutely love this place x
Staff amazing, food amazing and The views are amazing too x
Amazing as always would always recommend 3 lakes without a shadow of doubt
Good Environment but the Service left a lot to be desired. It is usual to expect that when you ask for a glass of water to not be told where the tap is and to help yourself. I was so embarrassed and taken aback. The waiters and waitresses spent a lot of time huddled together chatting with backs to us so to get attention was frustrating. Positives: location is beautiful and food was good but the service left a bitter taste in my mouth and ruined it for me.
Service wasn’t brilliant but they weee very busy. It was a Sunday. Lovely venue but don’t go at the weekend
Service was very slow but the food and view made up for it
Great views as we eat outdoors.
Foid really good.
Price was reasonable.
meeting up with friends for the first time in two years we thought this would be a nice venue for a meal. we waited a long while for someone to take our drink order and about another 15 minutes before our food order was taken, the food was a long time coming. there was not enough staff to cope with the number of customers on a very busy lunch time with lots of families there during the school holiday. the meal itself was very nice although we felt it was a little expensive. we asked several times for our bill and after an hours wait my husband went to the bar to pay the bill. the service was very poor and therefore we would not recommend the 3 lakes to anyone for this reason.
Lovely venue, attentive staff who were all very polite and helpful. Beautiful breakfast, which was clearly all freshly cooked. Great for a special occasion - bit pricey for everyday breakfast, but all clearly stated on their web site and menus so no surprises. Would definitely go again.
Excellent service, they where very busy but kept us informed of any delays it wasn’t a problem. The meal was excellent couldn’t ask for better. And they also asked if any of our party had any allergy’s. Can’t recommend them enough.
