Tables were very close together but the other clientele were cheerful and we all laughed about it.
Food was fantastic and we ordered more plantain because it was absolutely delicious.
The rum sour and the daiquiri were fantastic! Can't wait to go back.
Great food, cocktails and ambience. Small and cozy.
This was a last minute booking so didn't have time to research other reviews, but I wish I did. The food was awful! Had to send back the cod fish balls due to one being cremated. We were met with disdain when explaining that we could not eat it. The goat was tough and undercooked with no gravy - it was basically soup. The service was awful (apart from the bartender). We walked out feeling robbed as the prices are astronomical compared to the portion sizes and quality. Will never return!
Extremely disappointed with our meal.
The chicken wings were overpriced
(three small wings £9:00 😳😳)
The chicken burger had so much spice you couldn’t taste the chicken; I think it was chicken!!!
The spicy chips were nice 😀
The service was poor, asked for a round of drinks; that never came.
This was a very last minute booking and we were not disappointed. We had a great evening and great food.
Mother-daughter date night was fantastic. Daughter enjoyed her Daquari and bar dessert. Unforgetable experience; afterall isn't that what going out is all about.
We had a great night - the small plates are brilliant for sharing and everything is delicious. Love the premium rum menu too.
I had a wonderful time at the little birds, great service, good cocktails, and since I'm not very familiar with Caribbean food a fun new experience
The food was not authentic Jamaican and the service was terrible despite the fact that the owner was there. They need to employ more staff.
Was extremely disappointed when some of the food I ordered was given to me lukewarm so I had to send it back........
Really nice food and cocktails. Only one waiting staff (one lady who working very hard!) but service was still good and helpful.
The atmosphere was lively with music that added to the buzz but wasn't too loud. The menu was clearly Jamaican inspired but with a significant European influence to it as well. Overall the food was good plus they had a wide selection of rum cocktails which were very welcome!
So I've been here before and loved the food, staff etc but I returned and was so disappointed. Waited around half an hour to order main meal and had to call the waitress over to do so, her response of oh I was ready when you was wasn't great. The food was disappointing we ordered a jerk beef burger which was ok and the jerk chicken burger if that's what you want to call it was awful no flavour and no sauce in either burger which made it dry. Oh and I must not forget the calamari which lack seasoning so was definitely the worst I've ever tasted.
The only good thing was the drinks and the music.
April I'm so disappointed I had high hopes for this place after my first visit earlier this year and I couldn't stop recommending your place. I think go back to basics get a new chef that really knows about Caribbean food, and train your staff on good customer service skills.
