We attended the Appletons Estate Rum evening. The food was delicious. Service was excellent, very friendly and quick. Loved the bar itself. Given all of that it was a real shame you didn't make more of a deal of the rum connection and have some bottles of the range of Appletons rums to really promote what is an amazing drink. Would definitely recommend you and attend further nights.

Lovely pub with a great ambiance with a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Food is very good although not a huge choice but what there is first class. The waitress, Bella, was extremely bubbly and certainly had an extensive knowledge of both the food and drinks. Always adds to the experience when you have a friendly and helpful waitress. I would certainly recommend it and have been several times and enjoyed it every time.

Purchased vouchers so pleased I had as meal was not great value. We were overcharged and waiter informed us at first the menu to check our query had been thrown away. He then showed us a different menu with higher prices!! When finally he found the one that had been apparently thrown away we were overcharged on two items. The surcharge was added on at £9 this didn’t take into consideration the discount we were using with our vouchers. We asked if or it to be removed.Meal was without much veg and chips charged as extra. Dessert the meringue was not home made and sticky toffee was served Luke warm.All round very disappointed wouldn’t go again.

We had a lovely waitress who was very kind and wanted us to have a good experience. The food was very good particularly the vegan option on the main course. My friends pasta was a little cold but other wise very tasty, thank you "Three's a crowd". Moira M

Delicious Roast Lamb Sunday dinner… great yorkies, roasties and gravy! Just enough room for sticky toffee afterward too… Friendly service. Really enjoyed the Mango Mocktail to start too 🙌
