I love thd food in this chain (beanie green in paddington is amazing too) but i consistently find the service in timmy green appalling! It took an hour for our food to arrive and the service was lazy. We were seated upstairs which wasn’t good-basically in the kitchen and no atmosphere. Downstairs is much more vibrant. Our waitress at the end rudely ordered is to ‘work out’ the 50/50 split rather than do the simple maths herself. Not impressed!
Over priced, dull food and awful service. 45 mins wait for cold eggs, £4+ for a latte. Plenty of better places, I can't imagine that they get any repeat custom so save yourself the disappointment
Halloumi fries look like and taste like they are from the frozen food chain - Iceland.
Concerned about health and safety as the area behind the bars were scattered with dirty plates and food items on flloor.
What a find! Great place with absolutely fabulous food. So so tasty and fresh. Very laid back as well.
Disappointing food, particularly in comparison to the other branches. The service was slow as it took 40mins for our brunch to arrive. The venue is bright but loud so we had to raise our voices to hear eachother. Won’t be going back any time soon.
Overpriced and food wasn’t even tasty.
Great Food, food price is reasonable however drinks are slightly more pricey even for a smoothie & coffee. Friendly staff however we did fell a little rushed.
This is one of the most innovative breakfast menus in London. It's also great to have someone good in Victoria.
This was our third visit to Timmy Greens as we come for brunch and always have The Fancy Bacon Roll. Was lacking in hollandaise sauce this time around and the staff were not as friendly as in previous occasions. Still enjoyed our brunch and will definitely be back soon.
Great menu and lovely food. Sadly, the food took ages to arrive, but the staff were very apologetic about it and kind. Will probably go back.
Not sure if we got there on a bad day - the coffee was average, food was average and worst of all we were given different meals from what we ordered!
Painfully slow service, especially as dining before theatre. Food, consisting of a range of different starters was neither here nor there.
Nice and friendly restaurant, very helpful staff, easy to find. Very nice food, I loved the Australian Wine they have from Yarra Valley! Restaurant was not as overbooked as we got told.
Really great food, different to your casual lunch spot. Food was really tasty !
Been once before and liked it. however it was far too noisy and the drinks are ridiculously overpriced. we paid £29 for a screw top prosecco which must have been about £4. service was also incredibly slow had to repeatedly ask for drink orders. food was ok nothing special portions small. best thing was the desserts.
First time at Timmy Green and it was very nice. The food was good, the service was good - I will return!
A great brunch venue. Delicious and fresh food, a good selection of Australian food.
Food was good but expensive, service was also not great.
Great food for he bottomless brunch and they left us a bottle on the table which was great.
Pre-theatre meal, so early dinner. Really enjoyed the sharing plates - very tasty food. Let down by everything else. Slow delivery of food which was surprising given the early hour/quiet restaurant. Seemed to be several staff working, but they were pre-occupied with things other than attending to patrons. Table is set with water glasses - why don't restaurants automatically bring a bottle of tap water?! £60 bill felt a bit toppy for a meal for two with soft drinks (no alcohol). There is a bar area which filled with the after work crowd so it was quite noisy. That coupled with music made it too loud for early evening dining. A diappointing visit really as we really like sister restaurant Daisy Green.
So, so loud due to poor acoustics. Plate removed from in front of me without asking if I was finished. Food average. I'm Australian, and I'm not sure how they developed their menu! Edible, but won't come back.
Great food at Timmy Greens though not cheap. Sides extremely small portions. Wine choice was decent and £29 for a bottle of prosecco in London is a bargain! Tuna steak was excellent. Restaurant unbearably hot though, needs better air conditioning.
I was a bit unsure when we first walked in on a Saturday lunchtime as it was LOUD, I could barely hear my partner speak at first. You get used to the noise eventually though. We both ordered the bacon roll and halloumi fries to share and it was all absolutely amazing. I've never eaten anything quite like the bacon roll before, it was so delicious, and the halloumi fries were big wodges of comforting squishy cheese. Yum yum. We then squeezed in the Melbourne cheesecake thingy for dessert and that too was fab. I would definitely return (and probably order exactly the same meal!).
Restaurant was a nice change however the starter plates could have been a little better (the breaded calamari was more beans than fish with only a few odd pieces). Service was decent and the waitresses were attentive. I wouldn't say it was the cheapest place to go for a meal but it was not too bad. Probably go back again even just for the beer.
Very polite young staff really friendly and happy to help and offer their thoughts on the menu. Great "tapas" style dishes just right , deserts fab but beware the mars bar cheesecake sphere is really really rich..... Good place to meet friends for a quick bit and catch up without feeling rushed
The aubergine main I had was out of this world! Would come back any time for this.
However, the beetroot starter was underwhelming. The cheesecake and vegan chocolate cake we had tasted like you could have purchased them at Tesco. And, as I have experienced previously here, the service was poor. It shouldn't be a battle to get the attention of a waiter whist they chat amongst each other.
Toilets were also really dirty with the bins overflowing everywhere. Not what you expect.
both times I have taken friends they have gone for the banana waffles and just loved them. The Charcoal bread is worth a try once....
food good and a bit different but the service is a bit hit and miss which let's it down
Very bad service,
We got shown to our table and waited and waited and waited for about 20 minutes before we left there was several staff just talking at the bar.
Food did look lovely online
Went here for the first time for Sunday brunch. It wasn’t too busy surprisingly, the seating is quite cosy and the service ok but neither exceptional nor friendly. Menu is ok although I’d have liked more vegan options - we went for the corn fritters, aubergine fritters, almond milk matcha latte and Americano with soy. One of the fritters was mistakenly served with an egg missing which they resolved quite quickly. Overall ok but not amazing - the food was good, nice location but a bit squashed and service minimalist.
After a previous bad experience at Timmy Green (waiting an hr for our food, food missing from our plates and waiting 30 mins to be seated for a table that we had previously booked) I wanted to give Timmy Green another try in hopes that they would redeem themselves. However on this occasion our food took 1 hr 30 mins to arrive, after repeatedly asking the waiting staff to chase our order. Overpriced and undervalue. Won't be dining here again.
The food was really good and the iced coffees good too. Prices were fair, service was good but the toilets were disgusting - like absolutely awful. Toilet paper covering the inside of the cubicles as well as outside of the toilets area.
We had the bottomless brunch. The food was great. The service was lovely.
Service was slow, food even slower. It’s expensive for what it is and I don’t think the menu is varied enough. Won’t return.
It was fun
We had a business lunch and chose Timmy Green's for the Vegan and Veg options. The people who chose meat dishes where happy but... the rest of us were very disappointed with the Vegan and Veggie options. The aubergine dish with avocado and poached eggs was just mushy and bland. Needed some bread or tomatoes to enhance the flavour.
Yummy brunch - just wish it was all day brunch on a weekend not just until 4!
Food was great...truly instagrammable! However the service was very slow and we had to ask twice for an update on our order. Don’t be in a hurry on a Sunday.
The food wasn’t as good as usual - a little over cooked, but normally it is really nice. The smoothies are delicious. Despite staff being friendly the service is unbelievably slow, and has been every time I’ve been here. Don’t go if your starving because you will be waiting around an hour for your food
This is my second visit to Timmy Green and it is a good value, slightly alternative restaurant, well located. The service is pretty good, although they were busy so slightly slow. Food was good - we both had the "Bondi Breakfast" and the prices are very reasonable. More of a friends or family place than business lunch venue.
