The place is stunning, the food was good and the service was fine until the end regarding payment. Me and my friends wanted to split the payment via what we ordered and then splitting the service between us, but the waiter kept demanding we split the overall bill between us, assuming we weren’t going to pay the service charge when we were. This behaviour towards us at the end left a sour note and made us question why we did leave the full charge.
Lovely fresh food and brunch choices. Always seems to be just and I'm not surprised. Portions were generous which is nice to see as you are going for brunch you want to be full!
I have been here many times before for breakfast meetings and always enjoyed it. This time we attended for a friends birthday choosing the bottomless brunch option. On arrival, we discovered our table has been given away disputed having booked 3 weeks prior. There was a mix up with our order on more than one occasion and th whole experience was just disappointing.
FOOD VERY GOOD AND PRESENTED WELL. HOWEVER SERVICE WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTING.. THE FOOD CAME OUT VERY SLOWLY AND THE WAITERS WERE NOT VERY ATTENTIVE TO OUR TABLE, CAME VERY RARELY AND ONCE THEY WERE CALLED IT TOOK THEM AGES TO COME BACK.
I have been a few times. The service is very haphazard and sometimes quite unfriendly. The food is generally fine, but until they improve on service, there are many better options in the area.
In two minds about Timmy Green. The food was outstanding; all our brunch food and drinks were great especially the Coconut French Toast - one of the best brunch items I ever had in London! However the service is poor at best. We had to wait almost one hour between the time we ordered and the time the food arrived at our table. We asked the waitress who said she would look into it and let us know. She never did. We then asked the manager who said the chef was plating our food which arrived a good 15mn later. It was a Satruday and it was quite busy but this doesn't justify such a slow service. We got a £30 discount on the bill which is very appreciated and the food was worth it however the service needs to be improved if they want returning customers.
I came with 3 friends for a Birthday treat. We had brunch we shared 3 savoury and 2 sweet dishes. The Shakshouka and Coconut French toast went down very well . A bottle of procceco and a espresso martini to wash it down.
We was going to be seated in side but asked if we were able to sit out side as such a lovely day and this was not a problem. We had a lovely meal and would go back .
My only negative was the toilets needed sorting out .
We were rushing to get to the theatre waitress was so lovely and patient with us even worked out we would have enough time to eat your yum vegan choccy cake! Delish food and cocktails were fab please
open more branches!!!
Went there for brunch. Nice food, good service but not convinced the world needs charcoal sourdough..
Service was efficient, friendly and understanding- two of our party were late due to train cancellations but the staff didn’t make a fuss. They checked food was good for a nut allergy sufferer and everything was served quickly and with a smile. Range of food was excellent and tasty!
A great experience! Certainly the best restaurant of your chain! Beautiful atmosphere.
The only fault being that all members of the table must participate in the bottomless brunch which isn’t helpful for people that don’t drink- poor customer service on this front.
Made a booking and got put in an awkward corner table. Live music came on which was nice but made it difficult tp have a conversation. Food took a while to come out and felt it was over priced for what it was and how it was presented. Would not rush back in a hurry.
Ive been to Timmy Green a few months ago and ever since then have wanted to go back. I was so disappointed with this visit as when I called to booked they said they were not able to take my booking. Tried on the website and easily booked a table. The food is always outstanding and the coffee was great. My main complaint was the service. As soon as my friend arrived they asked if we were ready to order. Came back every few minutes to order which was so disruptive and rude. When we had finished they put the bill down and said they needed the table for another booking. I don't mind that they need the table but nothing was said when we booked about time and I felt pushed out the door from the moment I entered. I won't be returning.
Ate here for pre-theatre on a Friday evening at 5pm. Atmosphere was very pleasant. Light and airy restaurant. Staff very pleasant.
My daughter and I shared the chicken platter priced at £36. It was absoloutly delicious and I would highly recommend. The green salad that accompanied it had a very tasty dressing. We also had the duck fat fries which again were delicious.
Would highly recommend
The food was excellent, can recommend the Ribeye Steak, though the fries were just ok.
Starters and desert were again excellent.
Steak was delicious. Service was slow. Waitress was on her phone when she could’ve been helping us.
The all day brunch menu looked incredible but we were disappointed, the service was slow and the eggs and toast were cold. Also there was a hair on my partners plate which is very off putting. It was a shame because the menu was really good with lots of things we wanted to try but from this experience we will not be visiting again.
Great wholesome food, excellent service and pleasant ambiance. Amazing eatery
Booked a table for three for the bottomless brunch on Saturday.
The ambience was good and the food delicious.
However, what made the visit a great experience was the friendly and welcoming staff!
It was a bit disappointing. The starters were nice but the whole place just seemed a bit grubby. Quite expensive for what it was and a cafe type atmosphere.
The service and food was exceptional - good, healthy, interesting dishes with wonderful flavours. We had a variety of plates and we shared - it was wonderful. Only downside, was it was very very noisy.
The lady that served us was amazing!! Will definitely be back
Food good but restaurant far too hot - no air conditioning
Really really excellent food. Had only ever been here for breakfast previously but was impressed by the a la carte menu. We just had all the different starters instead of the main courses and these were delicious. Ambience was slightly lacking in the evening though.
Food was pretty average, service was slow. The waiter spilt water on my phone and me. Coffee was not great. Probably wouldn't go back.
We came for a girl's bottomless brunch. Great food, great atmosphere (v instagrammable) we loved it! We'll definitely be returning. Try the charcoal bread!
The food here was absolutely delicious but really let down by the poor service. Great value for such a nice meal in a beautiful restaurant, but the added service charge was undeserved for the quality of service we had from unattentive, and absent staff.
I keep coming back to this place as I love the interior - but the food keeps getting worse. I had the avocado on toast - the bread was super stale and hard so I couldn’t cut it, and the pached eggs were underdone, with the egg whites as runny. I remember coming here for the first time and being really excited about the food - it was exceptional. But the quality of food keeps dropping :(
Service was non existent and we had to ask for everything. Our steaks arrived but the sauce containers were empty on the plate. The food was poor with a very chewy steak and very runny creme brulee. We ordered a beer sampler. They arrived in half full pint glasses and just looked odd. There are so many options at Nova, and I think we will try them before going back here.
Food is great but service has lots to improve. Waited a long time for the food and the people next to us who came later were served before. There were only a few tables full so not sure why everything was so slow. Not sure about this place.
The food was good and it was a very convenient location. However the service was below average. We waited quite a long time to get our food and when we asked for more drinks and the dessert menu they completely forgot and we had to ask again.
Atmosphere was good. Food was nice (when it arrived). Service was pretty poor.
Nice food, but waiter brought starters and main course out at the same time which was disappointing. A bit pricey and no pre theatre menu.
Loved the ambience of the restaurant. Very astechtically pleasing. My friend and I loved our meals. The Banana Bread Sandwich and Salmon Benedict are a must!
The food was good and the ambience is nice, though a little loud. However, the service was rather disappointing. Two of us (party of 6) arrived 20 minutes early and were told rather brusquely that the table was not ready and to come back later; despite the fact that there were seats at the bar, we were not offered to wait there. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive. One of the orders was covered in fresh chilli, despite having asked if possible to serve it without. When we were almost done, they started clearing our table without asking if we had finished when it came to some of the plates which still had food on them.
Had heard such great things about the all the Daisy Green restaurants, so was really looking forward to dinner here. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectation. The best part of the dinner was the 'betel leaf snack'. The aubergine salad with crispy rice was oily and quite bland. There were not enough non-alcoholic drinks on the menu. Even the juice I ordered turned out not to be available. Service lacked any kind of charm and was generally pretty poor. All in all, it was over-priced for what it was.
Lamb cutler made to look amazing on website - 3 cutlets BBQed with a large dish of chilli pesto but the reality was a single over cooked lamb cutlet , tough and never been near a flame and the chilli pesto was about a teaspoon worth.
Best creme brûlée in London!
Service was seriously slow! Food and ambience good but when I went in to find someone to take my payment (had already been waiting for half an hour sat on a table outside) two of the waiters were sat on the sofa playing on their phones...
The food was very good, but we waited more than an hour for our brunch food to arrive and some items did not come... as they were forgotten on the order! It is a shame as the food is lovely, but will not return due to the service being so slow. Also the restaurant (with live music) is extremely loud.
