Our waitress, Emily, was fantastic. Our party came in waves and she did not miss a beat. She took care of us, was really attentive and maintained all expectations when eating out during Covid. Thanks for a great afternoon.
The server was very attentive and awesome! The food was great and of quality!!! It was my first time there and I will be going back very soon!!!
Good food. Good service. Nice view of river from outdoor patio. Good social distancing and clowning procedures.
Food was pretty good- my family enjoyed the Crabby Burger and Maui Salmon Burger. The Harvest Salad was a lot of arugula and not a lot of other ingredients (one cherry tomato in the entire bowl? Why bother?) Service was very good.
I had to ask the hostess to clean the kids chair's. during COVID that should have been completed. I wouldn't have had the kids sit in those dirty chairs prior to COVID. they also should look into cleaning the outside space. You have bird nest inside the outside speaker area. maybe spray organic pesticide. there's cobwebs everywhere. I wasn't confident they are cleaning well. the bus boy cleaned the table but not the chairs. the waiter was real nice. Also my Alfredo shrimp and crab was DRY...I took it home and doctored it up. the kid size pizza was good and I was able to reheat.
Love Timothy's. We go once a year for our Anniversary....never disappointed.
Even with everything going on around us in this world ...it was excellent !
Only concern was that servers didn’t wear gloves (they were handling our food) and they collected the paper menus. Paper should be trashed or put in recycling. Laminate menus can be wiped down.
Went there for Father’s Day. The capacity was minimal due to covid 19, but it still took over half an hour for my drink. The rest of the table received their drinks and appetizers before I received anything. She was disoriented and distracted throughout our stay. The food and drinks were decent. I may try again in the future.
Our first visit to Timothy’s did not disappoint. We will be going back.
Was disappointed to see they are not Covid 19 compliant. Waiter initially came to the table without a mask. Some staff members were wearing masks below their nose, Including the bartender. They were also letting people without masks walk into the restaurant. They handed us a plastic cocktail menu, and paper menu, a plastic food menu was on the wall at the table. We won't be returning until after Covid 19 is over. We don't feel safe here.
This was the first time we ventured out to dine indoors during the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant had taken appropriate measures for health and safety, our waitress wore a mask and the service was good. We were craving a burger after three months, which was satisfied on this visit. Our reservation was late in the evening, so the dining room was nearly empty, but that was reassuring in this situation.
Wide selection of draft beers, hot sandwiches came at appropriate temperature. This is a good place with basic pub fare. I would come back.
Over all a pleasant dining experience. The weather was good so we were able to eat out on the patio which is right on the river.
Love the atmosphere and food was great.
Let’s go Blue Coats!!!
Best burger I’ve had in a long time
For the second time in a month I have patronized Timothy's on the Riverfront to hear some of my fave local talent. The entertainment has been excellent but the customer service and food quality have been poor. It's just so much to say about the poor customer service....
1. Unwelcoming young hostess team - no greeting just say there is a cover charge but I have dinner reservations
2. The rude female manager..who I thought was a customer by her behavior and attire. I saw her verbally attack a bartender.
3. The TWO waiters who are clearly overwhelmed and can't handle the large crowd. They begin to wait tables and then said it better to just come to the bar to order. The food was quality was subpar! We never got a check at our table and had to go the bar and waited a half hour to get it. They got no tip and I wrote POOR SERVICE!
4. The drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were wateree down. Several customers returned their drinks to the bar unfortunately
5. Never cleaned off the table after we were finishing eating and had to ask for plates and utensils several times
This is just a snippet of the evening. I had stopped many years ago going there for similar reasons and was willing to give them another but not anymore.
Our waitress was very prompt, nice and efficient. Food was good and we had a nice time. Not really happy with bathroom but otherwise good time.
I was in town over Thanksgiving and went to Timothy’s for dinner. Our server only stopped by 3 times during our visit (introduction, drop off drinks, and give the check). We had to wait to get drink refills until she dropped off the check, and then we had to flag down another server to take our payment. I feel bad saying it, but the food was very bland and watery. The only thing that we enjoyed off the Thanksgiving buffet menus were the turkey, ham, and pecan pie. It was very disappointing.
Thanksgiving buffet has gone downhill in my opinion. None of the food was hot by the time you got thru buffet line and sat down to eat. Our waiter was absent basically the whole time we dined.
Thanksgiving buffet worked out really well. Food was good, service was excellent .
Absolutely delicious Thanksgiving Day meal.
Daughter and I went for lunch food was horrible has really fallen off since I was there years ago
The crab cake is 99% filler and no flavor. Romaine old and all outside wilted leaves. Caesar dressing no flavor and thin. The flat bread pizza was average at best. The pizza sauce not good. The only good item on the menu is the cauliflower bites.
It was a beautiful night. We sat outside. The food was great, as was the service. We went there with friends and had a wonderful tile.
We were visiting from Miami and really looking forward to a real lump meat crabcake. We were served the Worst Crabcake we had ever eaten. Even our server noted that there was hardly any crab in the broiled mush ball, but offered no remedy. Do yourself a favor and walk along the riverfront to the Big Fish. They know how to make a great crabcake plus great oysters, sides and good wine deals.
Already planning a trip back to share this delicious treat with other friends.
The service was OK, the wait staff sort of ignored us. Not one single offer to refill water or tea. but the food was outstanding. There weren't manner customers in the restaurant and even fewer out on their patio so can't really think of an excuse for the servers, we even had to ask the hostess to ring up our ticket so we could leave once we were finished and had the ticket. Everything we had was great and we brought a meal home for another. The kitchen is awesome, front of the house, not so great.
They changed their menu from which made them stand out by offering seafood and the menu is now basic items
Mediocre food, poor service. We had a reservation and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. THen it took quite a long time to get a server and maybe a half hour for food to arrive. Staff was pleasant but seemed overworked and/or inaccessible.
We were told to wait for our table when we arrived. After about 5 minutes we were taken to our table which was filthy. We had to ask to have it wiped down. When our drinks arrived my daughters drink had something floating in it and my husbands beer glass had lipstick all around the edges. It was disgusting!
Nothing was done to apologize for grossing us out. We will never go back!
Not sure how soon we will be back...we were served 2/3s of a beer, and told the rest would come when they got more....never saw our waiter again! had to ask someone else for our check...for some reason we felt we were wrong for just asking for our what we were charged for. food was good, service...not so much. Certainly not worth the drive into town. so sorry, we were looking forward to our dinner, but service was awful.
Horrible experience. The waitress was not friendly and not diligent to our needs and requests. The food was nasty. I will never go back there!!
We enjoyed the location of the restaurant and service was fair at best. The table was sticky and the location was right by the door. The crabcake tasted old and mash potatoes were served cold. The other guests enjoyed their meals. Overall the resturaunt was enjoyable for a quick bite to eat.
We had a wonderful server. He was attentive and a joy to have around. The food was delicious and the price was a steal, of course we had just returned from New York City so we had been paying far too much for food.
We met our friends and had a perfectly joyful time at this wonderful spot.
Great waiter, very attentive, food was perfectly prepared
Food was delicious. Service was wonderful!
It’s a bit of an embarrassment for customers to be able to complain about the service form across the bar while watching your two bartenders ignore a cal for assistance. While my fiancé and I wanted a second drink we opted on closing out with the poorly cooked pasta and a salad that was overpowered by the bacon tossed on top. The salmon tasted like bacon! I’ve been in the industry for 10 years. Retrain your staff and eliminate the amount of time spent at the end of the bar chatting. I always tip 30%. I left no tip.
Had a relaxing time and good meal. Would go again for New Years.
We arrived early but they were able to seat us. The lump crab fries were amazing. Great turkey burgers. The salmon was delicious too. It was a great dinner together with family!
The Thanksgiving buffet was excellent! There was a huge selection of dishes...something for everyone.
The pies tasted "store bought."
One thing that we did not appreciate is that they automatically added a 20% gratuity! For buffets, you're only supposed to tip 10%. Afterall, you serve yourself at a buffet!
