It wasn’t an overall bad experience, but it could’ve been better. Our waiter was extremely nice and helpful, but often disappeared for extended periods before coming to check on us. The food was ok, but we weren’t overly impressed with it, to the point that I didn’t care to take home my leftovers (which I always do because I don’t like wasting food).
The food was great and plentiful, but the service was very poor from the waitress we were assigned. Another waitress offered to assist and she was more helpful.
Loved the food
Took my family to Timothy's for the first time the day after Christmas. There were only a few other tables of guests, very spread out. The place was quiet and low key. Everyone was wearing a mask including the cooks i could see. I don't remember our servers name but he was amazing. Very friendly and promt. The food was great and nowhere near as pricey as many other restaurants on the riverfront. I look forward to going back in warmer weather to enjoy the view of the water better.
Unfortunately I made a reservation on open table for 815 and arrived to a closed restaurant. Please update your availability to avoid potential guests having to turn around and start from scratch.
We were there on the day of the Biden/Harris Presidential acceptance rally. We were seated promptly - outdoors per our request. Our server was excellent. She proactively checked on us and took very good care of our table. I was totally impressed with the smooth operation at Timothy's considering what a busy day it was.
I was meeting a friend for lunch and the restaurant was extremely busy. The patio happened to be at full capacity so we sat indoors. The service was fast and the food was tasty. We even ordered a second serving of our side dishes. I was so full I couldn't finish them there so I took them home.
We were happy to see the precautions that were taken during COVID. We had the option of sitting outside but only a few people were inside and no one was near us. Food was good and service was excellent.
Ordered wings w/ no sauce and they forget to put it on the side. Also waitress was very fast and didn’t come back to the table. We sat at the table for almost an hour without anyone asking if we needed anything. Ok place but would not recommend.
A long wall from parking lot. Meeting family with children.
Service was awful! Food was okay but I would not return due to the service.
Terrible experience and absolute waste of a birthday dinner. The service was horrendous and my server was rude and completely unknowledgeable about the menu. He refused to make any accommodations for my gluten intolerance. I had to wait for my table which I reserved two weeks prior when a family of 5 was seated immediately with no reservation. I was seated next to them outside at the same size table so there was zero excuse. Food was just edible and cold. I waited 15 minutes for my drink and the restaurant was not busy at all. My appetizer arrived with my dates entree and my entree came 2 minutes later.
It was our first time there and it was Excellent! Great location, great food and great service! Our server Matt was Outstanding! Very personable, attentive and on top of his game! Nice job and Thank You to Matt, Mr. G and all of Timothy's for a pleasant evening for my girlfriend and I!!

This was my first and last time going there, after reading the reviews and looking at the deceiving pictures I decided to give it a try. My server was so clueless I ordered the fish and chips he brought the fish without the chips I asked where were they he’s like oh yeah I forgot them I’ll be back he came back 15 minutes later with a plate of cold fries, the fish had a fishy taste for it to be cod fish, I ordered a drink when I was seated when he brought the fries he said oh didn’t you order a drink? He never brought the drink to me couldn’t remember anything, the floors were dirty with napkins and straw papers like they haven’t swept in days. I would definitely not recommend save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else where you can get good food and drinks and a server that is competent.
Good food decent service.. parking is far off..
Very nice outdoor setup only issue was flies. Food was good but the fries were a little cold. I will return!
It was a date and we enjoyed ourselves. The music was awesome. The restaurant was not crowded at all. The food came out quick, after being ordered. Will definitely come back again!
Pat our server was very attentive
Haven't been to Timothy 's in years and it seems that the ambiance and quality of food has declined. It was nice overall but not my top choice on the Riverfront for dining.
Server was not wearing mask and glasses were visibly dirty.
Nice varied menu.
Speedy happy servers despite the high temperature.
Burgers were amazing!
Our waitress, Emily, was fantastic. Our party came in waves and she did not miss a beat. She took care of us, was really attentive and maintained all expectations when eating out during Covid. Thanks for a great afternoon.
The server was very attentive and awesome! The food was great and of quality!!! It was my first time there and I will be going back very soon!!!
Good food. Good service. Nice view of river from outdoor patio. Good social distancing and clowning procedures.
Food was pretty good- my family enjoyed the Crabby Burger and Maui Salmon Burger. The Harvest Salad was a lot of arugula and not a lot of other ingredients (one cherry tomato in the entire bowl? Why bother?) Service was very good.
I had to ask the hostess to clean the kids chair's. during COVID that should have been completed. I wouldn't have had the kids sit in those dirty chairs prior to COVID. they also should look into cleaning the outside space. You have bird nest inside the outside speaker area. maybe spray organic pesticide. there's cobwebs everywhere. I wasn't confident they are cleaning well. the bus boy cleaned the table but not the chairs. the waiter was real nice. Also my Alfredo shrimp and crab was DRY...I took it home and doctored it up. the kid size pizza was good and I was able to reheat.
Better than I expected
Love Timothy's. We go once a year for our Anniversary....never disappointed.
Even with everything going on around us in this world ...it was excellent !
Only concern was that servers didn’t wear gloves (they were handling our food) and they collected the paper menus. Paper should be trashed or put in recycling. Laminate menus can be wiped down.
Went there for Father’s Day. The capacity was minimal due to covid 19, but it still took over half an hour for my drink. The rest of the table received their drinks and appetizers before I received anything. She was disoriented and distracted throughout our stay. The food and drinks were decent. I may try again in the future.
Our first visit to Timothy’s did not disappoint. We will be going back.
Was disappointed to see they are not Covid 19 compliant. Waiter initially came to the table without a mask. Some staff members were wearing masks below their nose, Including the bartender. They were also letting people without masks walk into the restaurant. They handed us a plastic cocktail menu, and paper menu, a plastic food menu was on the wall at the table. We won't be returning until after Covid 19 is over. We don't feel safe here.
This was the first time we ventured out to dine indoors during the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant had taken appropriate measures for health and safety, our waitress wore a mask and the service was good. We were craving a burger after three months, which was satisfied on this visit. Our reservation was late in the evening, so the dining room was nearly empty, but that was reassuring in this situation.
Wide selection of draft beers, hot sandwiches came at appropriate temperature. This is a good place with basic pub fare. I would come back.
Over all a pleasant dining experience. The weather was good so we were able to eat out on the patio which is right on the river.
Love the atmosphere and food was great.
Let’s go Blue Coats!!!
Best burger I’ve had in a long time
For the second time in a month I have patronized Timothy's on the Riverfront to hear some of my fave local talent. The entertainment has been excellent but the customer service and food quality have been poor. It's just so much to say about the poor customer service....
1. Unwelcoming young hostess team - no greeting just say there is a cover charge but I have dinner reservations
2. The rude female manager..who I thought was a customer by her behavior and attire. I saw her verbally attack a bartender.
3. The TWO waiters who are clearly overwhelmed and can't handle the large crowd. They begin to wait tables and then said it better to just come to the bar to order. The food was quality was subpar! We never got a check at our table and had to go the bar and waited a half hour to get it. They got no tip and I wrote POOR SERVICE!
4. The drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were wateree down. Several customers returned their drinks to the bar unfortunately
5. Never cleaned off the table after we were finishing eating and had to ask for plates and utensils several times
This is just a snippet of the evening. I had stopped many years ago going there for similar reasons and was willing to give them another but not anymore.
Our waitress was very prompt, nice and efficient. Food was good and we had a nice time. Not really happy with bathroom but otherwise good time.
