It’s the best food in the Seacoast. It’s better than all the restaurants in Portsmouth. It’s better than restaurants in Boston. We love going here the people there are great to work with the food is always spectacular. Great selection of drinks. I am a little bummed they are pulling out their tap beer lines so they better keep their canned beer game up strong!!

We returned to Tinos to celebrate 2 birthdays. The food and service was fabulous as always. The Server graciously gave us an extra dessert and a round of Limoncello to complete our evening. Tinos continues to be one of our favorite restaurants for fine dinning.

We eat here frequently on the patio and love it - when it's not crowded we can converse and hear each other comfortable. Patio is heated by heat lamps so in most conditions is comfortable. Swell oysters on the half shell and their salads are excellent choices. Staff is attentive and friendly. I try and visit once a month if I can.

Probably the best dining experience in New England. I find everyone at Tinos friendly and helpful. From the host/hostess who greets you as you walk in, to the waiters, bartenders, kitchen staff - even the dishwashers - everyone makes you feel as though your dinner is more akin to being a guest at a family gathering than a customer. I have found the staff to be very attentive, either glancing over, or stopping by my table multiple times (I counted as many as 11 at one dinner event) but not overbearing. The wait staff also takes care not to interrupt table conversation, a growing rarity in dining establishments today. When asking for a change or modification to a menu item, I find the staff fully accommodating. Often the chef will stop by my table to discuss these requests to make sure he fully understands my desires and frequently is able to present options for consideration. I have dined across the world and find the atmosphere and ambiance upscale in the tradition of classic Greek restaurants such as Spondi, Mironi, or Amber Cellar in Athens. I enjoy dining in the European style, meaning ordering a number of appetizers (3 or 4) and savoring the flavor and presentation of each prior to the main course. To enjoy multiple appetizers, I always share with my guests, or it becomes too much food. The Executive Chef GJ Overmars is a skilled culinary chef, and not a production manager, which seems to be the increasing trend in a lot of restaurants today. In true conformance to the Mediterranean roots of his restaurant, the menu is frequently updated to follow the seasons. Chef Overmars' kitchen even has an inventory of 12 or more super-premium olive oils from around the world, available for tasting if you are in the know, and ask (I recommend asking!) Prices are highly reasonable and competitive for the area. This leaves room to include specialty accoutrements such as Oscar, Diane, Rossini, or Au Poivre, which I always request. I highly recommend the experience.

Service was terrible. I have been before and wanted to bring friends back with me however ridiculously bad service. We were offered water and served water but had to ask 3x for ordering drinks…which took a very long time. Prev times there we got the complementary bread butter and appetizer olives, etc., and we never got them so I asked… And he said yes…I had to ask EIGHT TIMES!! Finally got them after dinner was just served! UNNACCEPTABLE -as well as embarrassing as we brought friends with us!!

Tinos is one of those very special restaurants you don’t expect to find at the Seacoast. Creative, imaginative, and full of surprises, it’s a dining experience that stands out. We shared the chicken liver pâté, warm feta dip, lamb meatballs, and the salad — each dish offering something delicious and memorable. And then came dessert: the sticky toffee pudding. **Absolutely fabulous and a highlight of the meal!** The chicken liver pâté was very good, and the rhubarb jam was superb. My only suggestion would be to rethink the accompaniment. The soft grilled bread didn’t quite provide the contrast the pâté deserved. A toasted pita or crisp crostini would have been my preference. Add great service and wonderful bartenders, and you have a restaurant that is truly worth discovering.

We had a wonderful dining experience! We started with fresh oysters and cocktails, both of which were excellent. The tuna special was delicious and beautifully prepared, and the lamb chops were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The atmosphere made the evening even better. There was live music on the patio, which was very enjoyable and added just the right touch without being overwhelming. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere made for a really nice night out. We would definitely return!
