We have visited this place a few times before. Toby's are pretty reliable and this branch is no different. Not as busy as some of the others but that simply means it is less chaotic. Food and service were both good.

On a drizzly saturday afternoon this offered a warm welcome and the food was exactly what we needed. A little quieter than we expected but that was fine with us. Huge slabs of meat and lovely roast veg that was being topped up constantly. Friendly and efficient staff.

Excellent carvery. There was plenty of choice of lovely freshly cooked roast meats as well as delicious vegetables and trimmings. Our waitress was efficient, friendly and pleasant. Even after paying the bill, we were able to sit and chat which was a great way to finish off our evening

We had asked for a quiet table (an option on-line) but we were placed right by the carvery queue! However, I appreciate it's a busy and popular restaurant. We found the Yorkshire puddings were completely dry and crunchy, and the cauliflower was bad tasting (mouldy?). Everything else was fine and previous visit have been good. This was not as good as it could have been.

We normally use your Eastbourne branch which is usually reasonable, however the Worthing one was ideal as a halfway meeting place with relatives we hadn't seen for 25 years.
It was a first time at any of your restaurants for our relatives.
Regarding the food. The meat joints looked and tasted very old and dried up. I would guess possibly some of it had been brought back from the day before. The Yorkshire's were like crisps and the entire contents were not hot, but just luke warm.
The entire food experience was not up to scratch and therefore very disappointing.

Have been to this carvery lots of times and it is by far the best one around. Food is always good with polite friendly staff.

Only problem I had was Opentable didn't book me onto there system so I had to wait an extra 40 mins for them to get us a table.

Apart from that couldn't fault the food just the error with Opentable.

No problem with the food, what you see is what you get, good value family meal. The only issue was we booked and it took 30 mins to seat us. Our son is autisic and waiting can be very difficult for him hence why we booked. I think next time we will try and go outside of peak hours to limit any unexpected waiting time
