One of the best meals I’ve had in London. The chips are A MUST
Excellent service, delicious food and great value.
Really good service & food was excellent. Pricey enough but worth it in balance.
Delicious food and friendly service. A bit noisy as there was a private party downstairs and the place is quite open, but quietened a lot when they left.
Otherwise enjoyed it and very convenient for the bridge theatre.
lunch before going to Bridge theatre. Lovely waitresses, prompt service but not rushed.
Three course including glass of wine, so good value. Extra for chips and delicious cabbage.
We all had same starter of salmon, which was excellent. One had the cod and loved it, other had risotto and loved it, l had belly of pork which was succulent but a bit too salty for my taste. Pud was totally yum.
Delicious meal and a relaxed vibe - great occasion for the family birthday that we had gone for
We had a delicious and stylish dinner at Tom Simmons. We were with our daughter and her friend. Atmosphere was fun. Cocktails were inventive and tasty. Food presentation was beautiful. For starters we had short ribs and scallops. Both perfect. For mains, I had lamb - delicious, as was my husband’s duck. Service was attentive. All in all a very enjoyable evening!
We had the two-course set menu before going to the theatre. The food was all delicious, especially the pork belly: three choices for each course, side dishes (delicious chips!) and bread all extra.
Super service and delicious food. A few more veggie / vegan options would be appreciated ... I’m sure Wales has some non-meat / fish delights to share :)
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was neither too fancy nor innovative, but absolutely 'right' and simply delicious. Excellent ingredients, very well prepared, portion size not huge but also not too small. We had the two course lunch combination, a few extras plus side dishes, and came out well below 40 pounds per head, including service charge (attentive and friendly service too). Informal, basic, and still top quality - we will come back!
A lovely meal.
Food was very well presented and tasted excellent
Service is very good and very polite
Tom Simmons is a fantastic restaurant. I have eaten there many times and never been disappointed.
Lovely food. Well presented and great flavours. The marmite butter was fab as were the chips!
We had a lovely night at Tom Simmons. The staff (especially Chloé) was so friendly! They were also very kind to our three year old toddler. Food we had was so delicious, including the butter and bread! We will come back for sure! Quite expensive, but totally worth it!
Stunning food; but comes at a price. Layered potato chips are a winner
Warm welcome, great, friendly service and amazing food/wine taken from both the set and a la carte menus. We will be back!
Great food. Cocktails arrived with the starters which was a shame. Venue lacks atmosphere - food of this quality deserves a better venue!
Amazing meal! We had the express lunch menu - salmon to start, cod for main and strawberry cheesecake for pudding. The food was top notch and such good value! Would highly recommend, and have already booked again.
This place has become a firm favourite. Friendly and great service but more importantly, creative and well executed food.
Fabulous food, great service and wonderful location. We visited with a few colleagues and were really well looked after.
We had a lovely pre-theatre meal at Tom Simmons. Every single item we ordered was delicious. Service was excellent and the ambience was pleasantly relaxed. We hope to return.
I was enchanted. I followed Tom in Master Chef. The staff are some of the best I have come across in London for a long time. Toms food was heavenly. Fresh simple but with a unique avant garde spin. I give it 10/10 and cant wait to go back. xxxx
Food was great. Service was great. only issue was that food took 30mins with an empty restaurant at 12:30 on a weekday. Other than that it was great and I'd come back again. Chocolate mousse was awesome.
Food was very tasty indeed but the restaurant was maybe a bit quiet
Had pre theatre dinner last Saturday at this restaurant. Very good food and the set dinner is good value. Beware of the sides though as they were £5 each so soon add up! So 3 set menu at£25 each ended up over £110 w drinks. Though this is London I suppose- and the chips were really nice. Service is good too.
Waitress Chloe was great - food excellent and our second time coming so that’s a good recommendation.
Consistently fantastic food. Beautifully cooked. Deserves a Michelin Star.
We enjoyed an exquisite meal celebrating new employment opportunities with friends. Each course had an array of mouthwatering flavours that beautifully complemented one another. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The chef applied high standards to what he served to the point where he declined to charge us for one meal that he felt had not been what he wanted. A great evening out.
The food at Tom Simmons was exceptionally good, great strength of flavour from the ingredients themselves not through use of excessive spicing or fancy additions. After some excellent scallops we had the duck breast as a main course and it was probably the best duck breast I have eaten. Good wine selection and very friendly service. The only disappointment was due to the restaurant being quite when we visited there was a bit of a lack of ambience but don’t let that out you off the food was just excellent
Another great meal before going to the Bridge Theatre. Great food and friendly efficient service. Many thanks.
My 3rd time at the restaurant, the wine prices seem to have gone up. The Eel tart was outstanding!
Quick pre theatre dinner, amazing, delicious food and I mean delicious! Quick service, staff polite and friendly. Mt husband and I would have liked a little extra, portion size only because it was so tasty and refined, we would have liked more. A little pricey but definetly worth it!
Delicious food and great service, in a cracking location. My husband found the main and sides’ portion sizes on the small side. The small serving of steak at £33 was not good value for money, in spite of being delicious. Nice meal, but very pricey for what you get imho.
Excellent as a pretheatre place to eat, next time we hope to be abe to explore the menu you thoroughly
Ardderchog! Diolch in Fawr iawn!
Always excellent. This time the set menu before the theatre at the Bridge. just the ticket
We had a lovely early dinner before going to the Bridge Theatre. Enjoyed everything!
Food is unique and tasty but a few dishes were too salty (layered potatoes and also the rib appetizer). Then the rib appetizer is repeated as a side add-on to the fillet beef course ... so ended up eating too many times of the same rib. The wine by glass was a bit small in portion... maybe it’s UK size. In US, wine by glass is almost twice the size. Selection was a little limited for my children.... Overall, good special restaurant to try out.
Two of us ate here on a Saturday lunchtime and both chose 3 courses from the set menu. The food was fantastic both in terms of taste and presentation. The service was attentive, but without being too much. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Looking forward to a future visit.
