Influenced by both British and French cuisine with an emphasis on his Welsh heritage, Tom has a personal relationship with each hand selected supplier and farmer, ensuring the best possible produce on the plate.

Thus looked really promising. The fr8es were good.
We both had the Scallops to start which were outstanding. They come with an onion bhaji, it was lovely!
Mains were the lamb which was delicious and pink and my partner had the fish and chips which was deconstructed and very tasty! This was our second visit and still great!
Good food, i had the courses for £22 which was very tasty but you will need sides which are on the pricey side, all in all good food and a good time had by everyone
A perfect place for every occasion. The food is absolutely incredible and the service is outstanding. Will definitely be going back.
Excellent service and went out of their way to accommodate a food intolerance. Food delicious, a good choice, well presented and great to see some Welsh dishes on the menu.. One diner thought the lamb portion was slightly on the small side. Will definitely return.
The noise was incredible; food expensive and little portion; no bread at 9pm; to dark
I’m sorry for this feedback, we are from Zürich and are used to higher prices...
Outstanding restaurant- really helpful staff - not hurried
The best cawl ( lamb soup ) I have tasted - except for mine !!!!
This is the second time we’ve eaten here and cannot recommend it highly enough.
A definite cert for great food at a reasonable price with great ambience
Absolutely delicious - every dish and combination.
The food was delicious and the restaurant well located but the ambiance was not as I expected. We were 4 friends in our 30s and were asked to "keep it down", we were probably laughing a bit much but nothing vulgar or out of line. Clearly a restaurant for over 50s (and quiet) and for romantic evening - a shame as it could have become smth trendy and much friendlier.
We use this restaurant whenever we visit the Bridge Theatre either before or after the show. The set menu is excellent value and delicious! I had the beef onglet and the other three diners had the fish. All very good. The service is always good, very welcoming, efficient and pleasant. If we lived closer we would go more often.
Bon, service agréable mais beaucoup, beaucoup trop cher et emplacement pas hyper charmant
Second visit and it didn’t disappoint!
Delicious food, perfect portions.
A warm welcome for our pretheatre dinner.
Friendly and efficient service. Great menu - just perfect for what we wanted.
Fabulous beautifully prepared fresh tasting food enjoyed in this modern restaurant only one minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of Tower Bridge but a haven off peace and quiet. Good wine, outstanding service and a chef that certainly knows his art. We cannot rate Tom Simmons too highly - a total gem and a fabulous find.
We thought this was great. We went after seeing a performance at The Bridge theatre - it works well for that. Very friendly and relaxed service and atmosphere. Really good food (from the marmite butter through burrata and wonderful “fish and chips “. Clear, interesting, fresh tastes and combinations. Will return
If there is better fine dining for a reasonable price on London I have not found it. This place is simply the best value awesome food in town.
Lovely relaxed evening, the food was very good, the bread and flavoured butters were outstanding. A great find in a slightly out of the way spot.
Food was first class.
Just find the waiters need training here. Not slow just odd.
Excellent food & service. A little hidden gem south of the river near Tower Bridge!
Coming from North Herts we had to cancel during the period of the Beast from the East so we finally tried again and were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed, had excellent, friendly service and delicious food. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back I'm sure
Fantastic meal. Everything was perfect. Loved the Mafon cocktail , the Veloute, the fillet and the meringue. Looking forward to my next meal already!
Our 2 guests both had the fish and chips which we thought were outrageously priced.
Amazing tasting food from start to finish...so flavourful I would definitely recommend for a special dinner.
Delicious food in lovely setting and really interesting menu.
We keep coming back here - it never disappoints. this is a gem of quality food at good prices - we just worry that when word gets out it will be swamped and we will never find a table again. Lovely olives and sour dough bread. Beef Onglet was new on the menu and absolutely delicious.
Sublime flavours in wholesome, well thought out menu. Fifth time I’ve eaten @ Tom’s & will be back!
As always a great meal. Love the new additions to the menus.
great great food. Tasty , very well balanced and layered.
We chose the set lunch which was good value for the standard of the food.
Small quibbles are it was odd to repeat artichoke in both one of the 3 starters and mains which made it a more limited choice unless you were a big artichoke fan
Risotto was excellent
The chips we shared as a side for an additional £5 were a bit strange not unpleasant but more like wafers of potato than chips although from what the waiter said they were very very popular
It was a quiet Tuesday so not a lot of atmosphere. Staff were nicely attentive not over the top
The restaurant is pleasant light and airy upstairs
Thoroughly enjoyable meal in a relaxed setting. Staff were very friendly and approachable and a minor issue was resolved quickly and without hesitation. Thank you
Meal was perfect and service exceptional. Will return.
Amazing food. We are fortunate to eat at many lovely restaurants around the world. The food here ranks amongst the top 10. Amazing flavours. Only negative is I found the wine list a bit restricted.
This was my second visit, the first being shortly after they opened. Food, service and atmosphere are still all consistently excellent. We had the set pre/post theatre menu and tasted all the starters between us - the fish cake was possibly our favourite but all recommended. The Cod loin main was superb - sadly we all had the same, so can’t comment on the other choices. The sides of The Worlds Best ‘Chips’ (they are not really Chips as we usually know them, more a multi layered construction) and decadent green beans, poached in butter, were exceptional. A very good wine list starts at around £30.
The food was fantastic, starters, multiple main courses all very positive feedback. Only blemish was the small cheesecake on the pre theatre menu - figured they were short of cheesecake. Overall though, would go back time & time again.
Quite delicious food. Speedy but genial service and excellent pre theatre menu. Will return!
This was our third visit to Tom Simmons each as a pretheatre meal prior to visiting The Bridge Theatre. We had the pre theatre menu which isn't the cheapest around but delicious and not too filling. The previous time we had been seated downstairs which I didn't like but I noticed that they now have a large table laid there diagonally and so avoided small tables being positioned under the stairs or next to the disabled toilet. This time we were upstairs which was much more pleasant. Service attentive and a most enjoyable meal.
Pre-theatre menu with friend was absolutely superb. We each had three different and beautifully presented courses, together with a delicious gin cocktail. Would highly recommend.
Greatly enjoyed the mushroom croquette, the jerusalem artichoke veloute, and a delicious cod loin with cauliflower puree, sauted spinich and golden raisins. Nicely prepared and sauced followed by a chocolate mousse with raspberry sorbet. Memorable.
As always the food was outstanding, beautifully presented, with delicious flavours, and the service was friendly and courteous. The only thing I would complain about is the minimal amount of wine you get when you buy an individual glass. We should have complained at the time really - but we were so busy chatting. The first glass can't have been even 125ml, assuming this is what is meant to be served? We ordered a second glass (as so little in the first) and this was an amount we would expect for 125 ml. But we have noticed on previous occasions that the amount isn't what you'd expect for 125ml.
