When you're at Tom's, it's better than a front row seat at the game.
I would recommend if looking for a small bite. Service was good, however out of our group of 4, three meals were not up to par.
After reserving a table we sat right in front of the kitchen and were constantly bumped. I would think this table should be saved for last resort. Ruined the experience
Service was excellent and food was fantastic. I found the prices reasonable.
Good selection on the menu, Great food, fun environment, friendly staff.
Pork belly lettuce cups were amazing!
Drinks were perfect and great food options!
Service excellent. Food decent, but lacked flavor.
Great food. Wish they had the 80’s music playing instead of all the football games
Quick dessert and drinks before a show in the arena. Brownie cookie s'mores was awesome, but overwhelming portion even for 2 people. Draft beer selection was great and the flight is priced very well for a casino. Food that was coming out and going by us looked mediocre at best with wimpy portion sizes, but we weren't there for dinner. Tiffy was awesome, as was playful hostess. Would deff seek at drinks and a snack here in the future, but likely never dinner
Great fresh food. Creative menu. Very comfy booth seating.
Go to Tom's Urban frequently, but mostly get lunch food. Tried an omelet and it was a bit overcooked and dry, but their Grits are something special. Still love the place and will just forgo the omelet next time. Scrambled eggs and breakfast sandwiches are better.
We had breakfast Sunday morning around 9:30am. Wanted to avoid the chaos at the buffet restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. Food was excellent and filling. I had the Egg BLT, my wife had the Eggs Benedict. Coffee was ok. Price was reasonable especially for the location. The tables were about 1/3-1/2 full so it was reasonably quiet - we could easily converse.
Our waitress was awesome and great. Service was exceptional having her. We had arrived a half hour early and the young man was able to sit us down right away. From the time we walked in to the time we finished it was definitely 5 stars
Food and service were excellent! It was a great place to visit before a show! Highly recommend
Comfortable sports bar, reasonably priced, convenient to arena at Mohegan
I brought some friends to the restaurant that had never been before and loved it, which is a big thing that when I choose a restaurant that my friends end up liking it.
We had a reservation and were seated when we arrived. Our waiter was quite good and attentive, but the drinks were NOT. When we ordered to Long Island Iced Teas, he suggested we consider the double for $9 more, so we say Why not, since we were going to the Miranda Lambert concert. The drink was terrible. At the end when we told him, he comp'd one, but for $21 each, that seemed somewhat fair. The food was average. We had the potstickers, tasty but small, and the fish tacos. Should have gotten a burger, the tacos were not very good at all. The restaurant was close to the concert venue, so we liked that, and the atmosphere was lively and fun, but the food was really lacking.
I’ve been here a few times and I have not been disappointed! If you’re into pub type dood, this is the place!
Amazing service and food ! Really unique dinners and appetizers that will keep you coming back for more. I tried the pork belly lettuce cups are super good. Chicken on cornbread pancake. Loved every bite.
Service was great - food sub-par.
Steaks were overcooked. They served the main course before appetizers were cleared. They forgot one of the apps. Tacos were bland. The S'mores desert WAS DELICIOUS!
Great place to have a drink and watch Sunday night football. Have a snack, not dinner.
My friend and I both had the chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries. We both LOVED the sandwich and fries and they gave us a big amount of fries.
We were seated and served promptly. The food was delicious and I considered all of the prices to be completely reasonable.
Go here often and food quality, taste and amount never disappoints. Great service personnel as well.
The waitress was amazing. Food was great, had a nice experience.
We've eaten at Tom's Urban many times at Mohegan Sun. This last meal (9/6/19) was a little sub-par based on previous visits. Service was fine and attentative, and the appetizer was fine, but both main meals came out a little underwhelming.
I had the corn meal pancake with chicken tenders and there was still uncooked batter in the middle of the pancake and all the tender were lesser quality dark meat. I've ordered this meal a half dozen times this year and this was the first time I had an issue (although minor). My wife also had an issue with her sweet potato fries which came to the table very luke warm (as if they were sitting around a bit) and covered in some type of seasoning, which tasted of MSG.
We will return, as we generally get a good meal .. hopefully this was just a singularity.
We enjoyed our food very much! I highly recommend the Pork Belly Bahn Mi Lettuce Wraps and the Nashville Hot Chicken was delicious. Our server, Tanya, was excellent as well!
Service was great. Food was ok . Menu description did not match the final product
We got fried seafood mixed in with our fries and the fried food tasted fishy. Wish we went somewhere else
Birthday dinner. My friends and I had a blast. The service was great and the food was pretty good!
Food was delicious. Had the chicken potstickers as an appetizer and the filet mignon for dinner. Despite a large event, we were seated quickly and served immediately. Waitress was a little cranky, but everyone has a bad night once in a while.
Waited over 20 minutes to be greeted, no one knew who our table was assigned to. Food was mediocre and it was so loud that you felt like you were eating in a club.
I appreciate that they honored my reservation even though I was stuck in traffic and consequently late. They were very busy as it was a show night. The noise was extreme and we gave up trying to talk during dinner. The blt lobster roll was not worth the price, very little lobster, too much mayo and an odd and unpleasant pickle flavor which ruined it. It’s convenient though, being right across from the arena and the service was quick enough. There are many options at Mohegan though and next time I will choose something else.
The food is great. The atmosphere is fun. I love that they have drinks that can be ordered in full size or half size for those of us driving or who don't want a full drink.
Great sports bar themed restaurant. It'll has lots of flat screen TVs to watch your Favourite Games. Food was fantastic
greasy food; very slow service; very loud. I won't go back.
We were late for our reservations, due to traffic, but the hostess was very accommodating and seated us right away. Our waitress Lindy was awesome. She was very attentive without being too pushy and made sure we got out in time for the concert. We have eaten here a few times and it is a good family value.
We went here before the Train/Goo Goo Dolls concert. We were seated very promptly at a table near the bar. This was our first time here but we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was good, the service was excellent.
First time (and last time) eating here. We reserved for a pre-show dinner. Upon arrival, the reservation was not ready. We wound up sitting in the bar area as it was quite clear that tables wouldn’t be ready for at least 20-25 minutes. The only positive part of this was that our server was excellent.
My wife got the lobster and jumbo shrimp dinner. Turns out that there was no jumbo shrimp; only small shrimp. I got the tenderloin with chimichuri sauce. I was told ahead of time that the sauce wasn’t available, which was fine. The steak was so over cooked, I had trouble choking it down and had very little taste. The whole food experience was disappointing.
It’s sad as this place has potential with the ambiance. However, it looks as if they only do a solid business due to the shows and the fact that they are located next to the arena.
It took an hour to get our food and the staff did not check on us once that whole time, we had to stop another server to ask what was going on.
Food was decent but not great, but our thoughts on the food might have been skewed by the annoyance of waiting so long.
Nothing special about Tom’s Urban - it was ho-hum from the food quality to the service. I won’t rush back.
Probably not; Service was great! Food was not. They comp'ed my meal because it was clear a filet should not look like a shoe.
Restaurant seemed not to be able to handle the Sunday evening dinner rush.
