Good food, great service
My friend had a pretty traumatic insistent where she chocked on some food and couldn’t breathe. We had to assist her to cough it up. Not one staff member helped or even came over to see if she was ok or what happened. Pretty appalling staff.
great little restaurant with nice atmosphere, good food and service
First time at Tootoomoo and we enjoyed the homely spicy food; the street shop ambience is Ok although early on a chilly evening the frequent takeaway delivery ins and outs did not help the dining area to stay warm. Ok for a good value quick meal, the food and service were both good.
Good food!
2nd visit very impressed at this intimate little find
Casual not too fussy place and service, the food was nice, large portions and low prices. Good for a quick bite around the area
Precios no incluyen el IVA (lo descubres cuando te traen la cuenta) y te añaden el cargo por servicio. Lo que podría haber sido una cena excelente por 30 GBP se convirtió en una buena cena por más de 42 GBP.
Great little spot to grab a bite to eat. We ended up sharing some starters and dim sum and it was great tapas style set up. Really good value.
A lovely little find. Good value tasty food. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Nice menu. Would definitely go back again
Very good service but the food was nothing special - disappointing. There were very limited vegan starters but plenty of mains, although the brown rice contained butter, unexpected for Asian food.
Great menu and brunch deal, staff weren’t super friendly and it took a while for them to refill drinks/take food away.
I loved the first time here and have been again a couple of times.
The food is always delicious and service very attentive.
The place is veeeeeery small and it's hard to get in and out of your seat if the place is crowded. That is the only downside.
Hopefully you can expand soon :)
Small plates with quite a lot of choice for a small restaurant. Quick service and delicious food, especially the Beef Rendang.
Nice place to eat and try out Asian cuisine. Decor could do with an update but one could argue that it is authentic.
Relax environment with good music playing in the background. Could be considered life like and real in regards to the decor, and i could imagine that there are eateries in Hanoi that look exactly like this place. An extensive menu with plenty of choices.
I loved the place itself, small with a few tables so it is a nice cosy local place with rustic decor and a really pleasant atmosphere. It was busy but wasn't crowded and this was on NYE!
The 4 of us had a large mixed tapas selection and we loved all of it, no complaints about the food whatsoever and the price was very reasonable.
The only downside was a moody waitress who was in a rush even though the restaurant wasn't full. I know it was NYE but less haste and more attention to your diners goes a long way in customer service especially in the food service game when tips are measured on service.
Dined solo before the theatre. Sat next to a large noisy hen party. Had a pad thai which was ok, cheap and cheerful neighbourhood restaurant.
Great food and friendly service = great meal!
Great brunch! Food was really quick and drinks were good. We left absolutely stuffed. Staff were very friendly as well. Only downside is the size of space, quite compact.
Absolutely love Tootoomoo. Wish they'd open one in South London! The gluten free options are outstanding. And there are no dud dishes!
needed somewhere near the football. decent food, in and out fairly quickly and was able to book on the day.
It was great, we are already making another reservation. Delicious, really nice staff and food. Great for anyone, everything we tried was delicious and they had options for vegans and vegetarians
Really cute little place, lovely cocktails, nice food
Very good value, delicious food and cocktails, great bottomless lunch
Really nice food.
We had the sharing platter and although it looked small at the beginning it was very filling.
The place was relatively small but lucky us there was only one couple when we arrived. I can imagine that if it gets crowded it can be quite uncomfortable as there is not much space. But apart from that loved the food and the decor
An experience of novelty in food that everyone should make.
Excellent evening, thanks! We ordered lots of the food dishes and all were delicious
Had a Bottomless Brunch here last weekend with 6 of my friends.
Food was incredibly delicious and plentiful... for only £35p.p for unlimited food and drinks, it was definitely worth the price!
Some of the staff could have been a bit friendly, but not a huge negative.
Had a great time!
Great food and ambience. Rendang was hi spot. Will be back
Good fun! We met our daughter and son in law for a meal. Didn't want anything fancy and this seemed to be a buzzy venue in a buzzy area. Our meal was at 7pm. It was quite quiet when we arrived but seemed to be livening up when we left an hour and a half later. We shared the adventure menu which gave access to a good range of dishes which arrived promptly. As it is "tapas style" there are no starters or mains. Menu is Asian fusion food. Good value. There's more than one of these restaurants so you probably don't need to go out of your way. Décor is basic and tables and chairs are close together but that's part of it's appeal. I'd certainly go again if I was in the area or near another one.
Lovely little spot. Very small inside but cosy, great service, yummy cocktails and food.
Nice and wouldn't mind eating here again but nothing to shout about and not very good value for money - very small plates.
Enjoyed a fresh, well portioned, "tapas" lunch plates with friends. Very friendly service, lovely food - a proper fusion of tastes and styles. Cantina style dining - 2 mins walk from Highbury & Islington. Well worth a visit.
Good service and really good food. The Duck & Watermelon Salad and Chicken Rendang were both delicious.
The restaurant is quite small, so you might want to book in advance.
Would definitely recommend.
Great all round. Staff were very helpful and went out of there way on any occasion. The clientele was satisfactory. Also the owner was extremely friendly.
We booked because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. Looks a little unusual from the outside and we werent sure we had the right place until the friendly owner came out to chat to us outside. The food was mind blowing. I couldnt believe that simple smoked chicken and vegetarian dumplings could taste that good. There is a lot of bonkers humour throughout the menu names and atmosphere with the veg dumplings called "potstickers". It was incredibly reasonable and on the weekends you can eat and drink as much as you like for 35 pounds!!! Im not sure how they turn a profit. We are planning our return visit.
ps.... the service is pretty quirky and we had to wait a long time for someone to take orders or pay the bill but luckily we werent in a rush.
A real find near Union Chapel. Lovely S E Asian tapas.
Great food, particularly the thai green curry - one of the best i've ever had. The lychee cocktail was tailored to our tastes, so good we ordered another, and very friendly service with a smile. A great local place!
Food is very good and you get good value for your money - the beef rendang was authentic and the squid was crispy and fresh. It is tiny though and you are really packed in so it's not the greatest ambience and the service is pretty slow. Still though, the food is worth the squeeze.
We were a table of 6. We came earlier than our reservation time but were given our table. We all loved the food and cocktails and thought service was great. We were all impressed and will be going back. A great find!
