Torero restaurant is not only the best restaurant in Zagreb, it is the best dining experiance I ever had. The service, knowlege and entusiasm from our vaiter and somalier was second to none. Every single dish was an explotion taste and beautifully presented. We had the 7 courses tasting menu with winepackage, I counted 9 dishes with the bread and I will remember all of them for a long time. Im sure this place will have Michelin stars very soon.

A wonderful experience at the Torero restaurant. Marvelous meals with a outstanding dedicated scene for each course. A special thanks for our waiter for his professionnalism and kindness. Definetavely one of our best restaurant tested.

The service and the technical knowledge of our host is unparalleled. Super professional, always able to explain the ingredients used and the cooking methods used, almost as if he helped prep the food. His knowledge of the wine and their origins was also really in-depth. The food takes you on a great journey, and food was so good! And full of surprises, I won’t spoil more because I think everyone visiting Zagreb should go try. I have had many Michelin star restaurants in my life and I think this place is deserving of at least a star - and I strongly believe it’s only a matter of time.

We had an amazing culinary experience at Torero. The moment you arrive, you are welcomed with expertise and passion for food and drinks. Every single dish had us mouth watering for more. Packed full of flavor and presented in amazing food creations. We loved the introductions to every dish explaining the local cuisine and ingredients and how every dish should be eaten to have the best experience. The price/quality ratio is amazing. Only bit of feedback we could provide was to offer more options for people who don't drink alcohol. Would definitely recommend to everybody who wants to have an amazing culinary experience and atmosphere in Zagreb.

I went there with my wife and we were so fascinated by the level of dedication from the whole staff, the chef made the most exquisite dishes and the waiter Allen explained each dish as if it was a story. We believe that is the best restaurant in Zagreb.

The food was really good, the service outstanding. Everything was well thought about and perfectly dressed, however I missed the little plus which could have make it an unforgettable experience. The portions are generous (almost too much!). Very very good though!

Our experience at Torero was one of the most unique and satisfying experiences that we have had at a restaurant in many years. The food was outstanding of course, but the presentation of each course included the chef's selection for each course and the reasoning and ties of each to Zagreb's rich history. The host/server/ ambassador Alen was the highlight of our experience, taking the time to answer all of our questions and even recommending places for us to visit in both Zagreb and Dubrovnik. The Sommelier chose a wine pairing for each course that was perfect. Our original dinner plans fell through and we found availability at Torero on Open Table and could not be more pleased that we found this absolute gem of a restaurant.

We had a great experience at Torero restaurant. Everything, food, service, performance and atmosphere were just great. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends to go and dine if they have a chance to visit Zagreb. Our only regret is we forgot to show our gratuity.

Ridiculous quality for the price. We skipped Noel and ate here and we were so glad we did. No doubt in my mind they will earn a Michelin star within two years and the price was outstanding compared to top flight Michelin restaurants we have enjoyed throughout the world. Service was insanely good. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We hope to be back when you have earned your stars!

My husband and I happened upon Torero for the final night of our honeymoon and were so impressed! I was shocked it wasn’t busier than it was because we had the most lovely evening! This was a full food experience rather than just a nice restaurant. Additionally, the value was amazing for what we got. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a nice meal in Zagreb, try some amazing local fare, and learn about the city, customs, and cultures through an amazing chef. We couldn’t resist taking pictures of every dish in front of us and enjoyed wine pairings from the in-house sommelier.

Each dish is carefully crafted for culinary and aesthetic delight. The chef is very creative on this limited choice menu. But he has not sacrificed taste in his exotic creations, but has rather enhanced it. The server was very good at describing each dish. Seeing the sugar domed cheesecake dessert is worth a visit by itself. Our only complaint was the failure to present a wine list. The sommelier insisted on making all the selections with little input from us.

What an excellent meal! How does this restaurant not have a Michelin star?? All the dishes were perfectly balanced and creative, in particular the beef tartare and cheesecake dessert. Prices were also surprisingly reasonable. Hats off to the chef and her excellent team.

there were some excellent elements of the evening, great presentation, exotic hand wash dip, nice amuse bouche, and petits fours. excellent service and sommelier, but we were the only ones in the restaurant! excellent steak tartare, but rather overcooked trout and cous cous. A little pricey.

We had a wonderful time at this place! The food, wine and the competence of the staff were just perfect. Their goal was to let us dine with all our senses and I must say, mission accomplished. The presentation and taste of the food are unseen and accompanied with fun and interesting background stories. I let the sommelier suprise me with all my beverages and I'm glad I did. I recommend this place to everybody that loves fine dining and even more to be amazed. If you want this full experience, the tasting menu is what you'll look for. Don't miss out if you're visiting Zagreb!

We have enjoyed the evening more than we have expected: the food was exceptional and was prepared with great care and sensitivity tasted great. It was served with elegance, followed with interesting stories providing less known details. Wine served perfectly paired with the food and offered additional enjoyment.
